After the match, Kuang Ye went to the hospital to pick up Mu Wan. On the way home, Mu Wan suddenly received a call from Wang Lan, inviting them to have dinner at the villa that evening.
“Is it because of what happened today?”
“Definitely.”
The two exchanged a glance, their expressions mirroring a shared guilt. Nervously, they drove to the Mu family villa.
However, to their surprise, it wasn’t an interrogation awaiting them. Wang Lan had prepared a lavish dinner table and greeted them with a gentle tone.
“You must have been frightened by everything that happened today. The atmosphere online can be so toxic these days. But don’t worry too much; you’ve got the family behind you to back you up.”
For once, Kuang Ye felt a rare sense of being at a loss for words.
He had always faced life on his own. The phrase “back you up” felt entirely foreign to him.
After dinner, as they left the villa, Kuang Ye couldn’t help but tightly embrace Mu Wan. His voice was hoarse as he spoke close to her ear.
“Wan wan, why is your family so good to me?”
He had thought he’d been given a single piece of candy, only to realize it was an enormous jar, filled with every flavor imaginable. Yet, his first reaction wasn’t joy—it was doubt.
“Do I deserve this?”
This wasn’t the teasing of his teammates—it was a genuine question. The once-arrogant Wild God of HW, always untouchable and proud, was humbled and self-conscious only in front of Mu Wan and her loved ones.
Mu Wan gently nuzzled her forehead against his cheek, their faces close as she whispered, “Because I like you.”
Because I like you, my family will treat you well too. Love me, love my family—it’s as simple as that.
“Then you’ll have to like me forever.”
“Of course!”

When they returned to the apartment, the warmth from earlier still lingered. Their eyes met, and in the next moment, they were kissing passionately.
Their kisses deepened, tongues entwined as they breathed in each other’s essence. Clothes gradually piled up on the floor, and though they didn’t turn on the lights, the soft glow of the moonlight was enough for Kuang Ye to admire Mu Wan’s beauty.
The sound of him swallowing audibly broke the silence, making Mu Wan’s face flush with both embarrassment and shyness.[1]For those who thinks being embarrased and shy is the same thing, no, Shyness and embarrassment are not the same thing: Shyness is a feeling of discomfort, nervousness, or awkwardness in social … Continue reading She instinctively tried to cover herself, trembling like a delicate lily. Kuang Ye, like a devoted admirer of the flower, teased and played, drawing out her gasps and moans.
“Does it feel good, Jiejie?”
His deep, raspy voice murmured in her ear, followed by a deliberate lick along its curve. The sheer sensuality of his actions was overwhelming.
“Shut up!” Mu Wan choked out, her voice tinged with both tears and exasperation.
But Kuang Ye’s gaze only deepen, his eyes filled with a storm of desire. His hands never paused, and his kisses trailed downward from her neck.
“If I shut up, how can I pleasure you, Jiejie~?”
Mu Wan was completely limp, her body soft and pliant. Kuang Ye picked her up and placed her gently on the sofa. He closed the curtains, turned on the heater and warm lights, then grabbed her hand and placed it on his collar.
In a low, coaxing voice, he murmured, “Jiejie, can you help me take this off?”
The warm, yellow light was soft and not glaring. Listening to Kuang Ye’s slightly ragged breathing, Mu Wan, as if possessed, found herself following his lead. Her soft, fair hands trembled as they tried to unfasten his buttons, but after a long while, she couldn’t manage to undo even one. Frustrated, she grew flustered.
Kuang Ye lifted her hand and kissed it gently. “Take your time, Jiejie…”
It wasn’t clear how much time had passed, but by the time beads of sweat had begun forming on Kuang Ye’s forehead, his shirt was finally unbuttoned. Mu Wan’s eyes fell on the scars covering his torso, her heart aching as she reached out to trace them gently.
“Were all of these caused by your foster father?” she asked softly.
Kuang Ye answered truthfully, “Not all of them.”
Some of the scars on Kuang Ye’s body were not the remnants of childhood abuse by his foster father but instead were marks of his tumultuous life afterward. As he grew older and stepped into the harsh realities of the world, he found himself embroiled in conflicts—physical, dangerous, and often inescapable. These fights weren’t random brawls; they were struggles for survival, clashes where violence became his only language and defense.
“Did they hurt?”
“No.”
Mu Wan thought he was just trying to comfort her, unaware that Kuang Ye was telling the truth. They didn’t hurt anymore—what he felt now was an entirely different sensation. Her warm fingertips brushing against his skin sent tingling waves through him, like a match hovering near dry kindling, ready to ignite at any moment.
Kuang Ye’s breathing grew more labored. He took her hand and placed it on his waist. His voice, dry and rough, carried a trace of panting as he said, “Jiejie, help me out.”
Mu Wan’s face flushed an even deeper red, blooming like a summer flower. What does he mean by “help”? Was she supposed to help him take off his clothes? Or help him to cum…?
The mere thought of that word made her entire body heat up, steam practically rising off her skin.
Kuang Ye felt the waves of heat surging in his abdomen, growing stronger and harder to contain. Fine beads of sweat dotted his body, dripping onto the sofa and soaking into the fabric before disappearing.
This was their first time, and he wanted to give Wan Wan the best experience possible.
“Wan wan…” Unable to hold back any longer, Kuang Ye guided her hands, helping her to slowly open his zipper and pull out his already hard member—
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Just as the dry kindling was about to burst into flames, a sudden knock on the door startled them both.
Both of them froze.
Startled, Kuang Ye instinctively grabbed a blanket to wrap around Mu Wan. Fighting against the tension in his body, he shouted at the door with a trace of irritation, “Who is it?”
There was a moment of silence outside, and then a cold, clear voice replied, “Your brother-in-law.”
It was Mu Yan Ci.
