– “So, Kuang Ye actually achieved his dream of being with his crush?!”
– “Ahhh, this sweetness is unreal! I need insulin right now!”
– “This is the best sugar I’ve ever had in my life. Get married already—I’ve approved it!”
– “I used to think Kuang Ye was great, but that Mu Wan could probably find someone even better. Now I realize I underestimated him.”
– “Just saying, even now, our Wan wan is still the stronger one. Don’t forget her background that netizens uncovered.”
– “A little husband being so amazing is the best! This couple is locked in forever, and I swallowed the key!”

In a private teahouse in S City, Mu Wan, Kuang Ye, and Tang Ce sat together drinking tea.
Kuang Ye stared at Tang Ce and asked, “Revealing my identity—aren’t you worried the mysterious CEO won’t be able to control those shareholders anymore?”
Tang Ce waved him off. “Don’t care. The core technology is all in my team’s hands now. If anyone causes trouble, I can disband and start over. Everyone’s scrambling to collaborate with me these days. I’m not the old Tang Ce—I’m Tang Ce, the invincible!”
Kuang Ye: “…”
Busy as always, but never misses a chance to joke.
Mu Wan handed over a signed contract. “Two copies—one for each of us.”
The meeting’s primary purpose was to finalize the rental agreement for the Jian Jia Company. Despite Tang Ce’s claim that friends didn’t need such formality, Mu Wan preferred to keep personal and professional matters separate.
Tang Ce casually tucked the contract into his file folder. “Got it. By the way, Kuang Ye in school was hilarious.”
“Every morning before dawn, he’d be up memorizing vocabulary. Halfway through, he realized he’d been studying the wrong book. Hahaha!”
Kuang Ye kicked him. “Can you stop exposing my embarrassing moments in front of my girlfriend?”
Tang Ce raised an eyebrow. “That’s embarrassing? Let me share something better.”
He turned to Mu Wan and grinned. “Did you know he used to drive four hours every weekend to sit in a café outside your school just to catch a glimpse of you?”
Kuang Ye blushed. “Why are you telling her that?!”
Mu Wan’s pupils contracted, and her heart ached. Her Ah Ye had quietly watched her for so long.
Kuang Ye stammered, “I mean, now that we’re together, this story is sweet. But if we weren’t, it would just make me seem like a creepy stalker!”
Tang Ce ignored him and continued to Mu Wan, “He was so stubborn. He could’ve just paid someone for information, but he insisted that would disturb you. Instead, he stood there every week, staring at the people coming and going.”
Mu Wan felt a mix of emotions and gave Kuang Ye a sidelong glance.
Suddenly, she asked, “Ah Ye is so handsome. Didn’t anyone chase after him in school?”
Kuang Ye: “??!!”
He looked at her in disbelief.
Mu Wan smiled.
Tang Ce, sensing the opportunity for chaos, jumped in, “Of course, they did. How could they not?”
Kuang Ye immediately protested, “Tang Ce, stop stirring up trouble. When did anyone chase me?”
Tang Ce smirked. “Oh, really? What about the freshman girl who confessed to you outside your dorm? Even people from other departments knew about it.”
Kuang Ye: “I told her I had a fiancée back home and rejected her!”
Tang Ce chuckled. “And what about the gorgeous teaching assistant?”
Kuang Ye: “Also rejected!”
Tang Ce continued, addressing Mu Wan, “Because he always used that excuse, people thought he was lying and tried other methods. For example, the department beauty used studying as an excuse to follow him everywhere.”
Mu Wan raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “And then?”
Tang Ce laughed so hard he could barely speak. “Then, since he was busy trying to skip grades, he dragged her into his routine: waking up at 4 a.m. to study, reserving a library seat at 6, eating bread while solving problems at noon, and working on projects until midnight.”
Mu Wan: “… Ruthless!”
Tang Ce nodded. “Exactly. She gave up after three days.”
Since then, everyone in the school knew about the cold-hearted academic genius in the computer science department.
Mu Wan, entertained, continued chatting with Tang Ce, leaving Kuang Ye sidelined.
As they prepared to leave, Tang Ce handed his phone to Mu Wan. “Add me on WeChat. If you ever want to know more about Kuang Ye’s college days, just ask me.”
Mu Wan agreed and scanned his QR code.
Instead of a friend request, a chat window popped up.
Both froze.
Kuang Ye finally seized the moment, squeezing between them with a sharp smile directed at Tang Ce. “Care to explain why you already have my girlfriend’s WeChat?”
