Disdainful During Military Service, Why Panic About Marrying Your Commander
Disdainful During Military Service, Why Panic About Marrying Your Commander Chapter 2

Chapter 2

“You child! How can you talk like that! He is your younger brother! He is going to carry on our family line!” Liu Chunhua, standing nearby, shouted angrily.

“Carry on the family line? What are you talking about! We are so poor, we don’t even have any money. Even if we have a child, we will be poor for the rest of our lives. Please, for the sake of the child, let him go! Have you ever asked if he wants to be born into your family and suffer?” Shen Youran rolled her eyes at them.

Then she directly opened the blanket, and she knew this was the clinic. She didn’t know if she had paid for her medical expenses. She was afraid that she hadn’t paid and would have to pay herself. She quickly left, saying, “I’m going home to sleep!”

“Hey! Wait! You haven’t paid for your medical expenses yet! Go and pay first!” Liu Chunhua said anxiously.

Shen Youran quickly quickened her pace and rushed towards her original family’s home. She only had one yuan on her now. Whether the medical expenses were enough or not, she would have no money left if she paid! She still had a little baby to take care of!

Liu Chunhua and her son were about to catch up with Shen Youran, but they were stopped by the people at the clinic. “Wait, wait, wait, you haven’t paid yet! The bandage and infusion fees for that woman haven’t been paid yet, two yuan.”

“So expensive!” Liu Chunhua widened her eyes, wanting to renege on the payment, but she was being held back, so she could only pull out the money from her pocket.

Ignoring their business here, Shen Youran returned home as quickly as possible.

As soon as she stepped onto the small road, she saw a little kid squatting at the door from afar. He was wearing plain gray clothes, holding a stick in his hand, as if he was drawing circles on the ground.

The sunlight hit his face, his side profile was fair and clean, and he looked very well-behaved.

She moved closer to take a look. The child had a chubby face and big eyes like black grapes under his light eyebrows. When he heard the sound, he looked up at Shen Youran.

“Mom.”

Jun Jun looked at the person in front of him and called out timidly. He quickly put the stick on the ground, his expression a little anxious, as if he was afraid of being disliked.

He opened his mouth to explain, but Shen Youran was captured by his eyes and his cute appearance. She took two steps and rushed forward, directly hugging him.

“Wow!”

Exclaiming, Shen Youran hugged Jun Jun and kissed him a few times, her heart filled with excitement.

This is too good to be true!

Although she caught up with the trend of transmigration, she directly had a painless childbirth and had her own child, and he was such a cute little baby!

How could she not be happy?

This is simply what modern people dream of. Because she had seen countless posts online, whenever someone posted a cute child, the comments were all about how to skip men and have such a cute child?

How to have a painless childbirth?

The country encourages having children, I want this one!

Everyone doesn’t want men, but they want children.

Isn’t this exactly what I want?

Jun Jun was kissed by Shen Youran several times in a row, his face was still covered with her saliva. His big eyes were filled with confusion, as if he didn’t quite understand his mother’s behavior.

Because of his mother’s attitude towards him before, she was always lukewarm, and sometimes she would even glare at him fiercely. He had been scared several times before.

But mother and son are connected by heart, he never really hated his mother.

Now seeing his mother being so affectionate with him, Jun Jun’s heart suddenly warmed up.

It seems that Mom still likes him. He thought for a moment, put his small hand around Shen Youran’s neck, and also kissed her face with a smack.

Shen Youran was stunned for a few seconds by this inexplicable action. Jun Jun also blinked his eyes, as if he realized that his previous behavior was inappropriate.

Could it be? Mom doesn’t like him kissing her like that?

His heart was a little uneasy. Shen Youran looked at his grape-like eyes rolling around, feeling a little distressed and hugged him. “You also like Mom, right?”

Jun Jun nodded.

“Mom likes you the most too. Mom was wrong before.” Shen Youran hugged the little baby, and then she remembered the plot of the time travel novel she had read.

The cute Jun Jun now, will be a small villain in the future.

Because the original owner died today, and Lu Yifan didn’t want to make a big fuss, so the child was raised under his name.

Later, Lu Yifan married Zhou Xiaohui, and they had a child. Jun Jun became the control group for that child.

That child was an angel, with a halo around him, but Jun Jun was contrasted as an evil villain.

The reason was that after the original owner died, Jun Jun heard someone in the courtyard whispering that they saw the male lead’s sister’s bear child push his mother into the lake, which led to his mother’s death. He directly blackened.

He didn’t know that he wasn’t his father’s biological son. He thought that his cousin killed his mother, and his father didn’t pursue it. He also married a new mother for him. Although the new mother didn’t abuse him, she didn’t pay much attention to him and carried out cold violence against him for a long time.

Junjun learned later that his father had been in love with his new mother for a long time, but couldn’t be together because of his biological mother. He suspected that his father intentionally let his cousin harm his mother and didn’t pursue it.

Dwelling on these thoughts for a long time, Junjun became psychologically dark and ultimately met a bad end.

Most readers found Junjun annoying every time they saw him in the story. From the reader’s perspective, the author didn’t clearly explain how the original wife died, and everyone thought she had brought it upon herself. Then, rumors spread in the courtyard, and the child believed them.

Comments were filled with insults calling the child a “bastard,” not the male lead’s child, and saying he was lucky to be raised at all, while blaming his cousin, a supposedly well-behaved child.

The author didn’t portray the cousin as a bully either, because the boy would be well-behaved in front of the male lead. After all, the male lead was a young battalion commander, and the bully wasn’t mean to everyone. So, whenever the cousin appeared in the story, he was just a normal child.

Thinking about this, Shen Youran shivered involuntarily. She couldn’t believe the real situation in this book.  She wanted to drag the original author over and beat them up for writing such an ambiguous story that led to misunderstandings!

She held the child and walked into the house. It seemed like they were the only ones left.

Of course, the original owner jumped into the lake, and Liu Chunhua and that useless brother had gone, leaving the child alone in the house!

Thinking about the plot and Junjun’s current situation, Shen Youran felt a pang of sympathy for him. She held him tighter.

“Mommy.”

Shen Youran carried Junjun into the room. The furnishings were quite dilapidated, with only a barely usable bed and two or three sets of Junjun’s clothes, all patched up, revealing their poor living conditions.

The original owner had complex feelings towards Junjun.

Although the child was born from her womb, he wasn’t Lu Yifan’s. Every time they argued, Lu Yifan would bring this up, saying her body was defiled by another man, degrading her to dust.

But in reality, even before their marriage, Lu Yifan didn’t intend to touch the original owner, wanting to keep her pure. It was only after the original wife was defiled that he had an excuse to argue with her openly.

The original owner insisted on not divorcing Lu Yifan. Even though she suffered countless grievances, she refused to end the marriage. She just wanted to be a military wife, have a normal job, and be able to support her child.

She wasn’t without affection for the child, but she couldn’t understand why things had turned out this way. Sometimes, seeing the child, she couldn’t accept how her life had unfolded.

Shen Youran carefully reviewed the situation and suddenly felt sympathy for the original owner.

Although her original family wasn’t ideal, she had a good hand but was dealt a terrible blow by Zhou Xiaohui’s schemes.

This Zhou Xiaohui was truly the green tea queen!

The common trope in TV dramas, where a woman saves the male lead but gets her credit stolen, actually happened in this story.

The book stated that the female lead saved the male lead, calling for help and exaggerating her contribution, but it didn’t mention the original wife carrying him all the way.

The original owner, raised in a patriarchal family where she couldn’t eat enough and had to do manual labor to gain some strength, carried a six-foot-tall man all the way. You can imagine how tiring it was.

However, the book didn’t even mention it in passing, not a single description. It only focused on how the female lead saved the male lead, then claimed the original wife was taking credit and forced the male lead to marry her.

In reality, both the female lead and the original wife saved the male lead. The original wife helped while the male lead was unconscious, so he didn’t know. The female lead kept emphasizing how hard she worked, making the male lead believe she played the main role in saving him.

In the male lead’s mind, the original wife didn’t do much, just watching over him while he was unconscious until the female lead found someone to rescue him.

No matter how much the original wife explained that she carried him all the way, the male lead didn’t believe her. He believed she couldn’t have the strength to carry him. He gave her a chance to prove it by trying to carry him again, saying he would believe her if she could.

But the original wife had injured her back while carrying him that time, and her chronic back pain had flared up due to years of hard labor.

When the male lead asked her to prove it, her back was at its worst. She explained, but the male lead thought she was making excuses, saying her back pain was fake.

In reality, the original wife’s back was truly injured. She couldn’t do any activities that required bending over.

All of this was presented in the book as the original wife constantly lying, and the comment section was filled with people who didn’t believe her, calling her a drama queen trying to steal the female lead’s credit.
