Chapter 32

Shi Chengyu smiled faintly. “Wei Chuan asked.”

Wei Chuan was Shen Sichen’s assistant.

“Oh, okay.” Shen Chutang said with a smile. Then she heard Shi Chengyu ask her, “What’s wrong?”

Zhao Xin dared not let Shen Chutang speak. He quickly said, “Mr. Shi, I saw the bracelet on Miss Shen’s wrist. I thought she liked it, so I said I’d have someone send some over later.”

Shi Chengyu looked up at him, his voice calm. “No need. She doesn’t care for these.”

In other words, she doesn’t care for you either.

“Yes, I’ve offended you.” Zhao Xin immediately climbed down. “Then I’ll go first. You guys enjoy yourselves.”

Shi Chengyu wasn’t lying. Shen Chutang was thin, and her wrists were delicate. She didn’t like wearing jewelry. He had to coax her for a long time before she reluctantly agreed to wear this bracelet.

“Are you cold? Why did you come out in your pajamas?” Shi Chengyu held her hand. Fortunately, her clothes were long-sleeved, so her hands weren’t very cold.

Shen Chutang got a little angry when she mentioned it. She was still wearing her home clothes when she was dragged over. “It’s all Second Brother’s fault! He insisted on bringing me here!”

“Okay, I’ll have Big Brother beat him up later.” Shi Chengyu smiled and fixed her hair. “Let’s go. Let’s go to Second Brother’s place first.”

Zhou Xingyang stared at the two of them in a daze. Until this moment, she seemed to understand why Shen Chutang’s innocence was preserved.

Shen Chutang turned her head. “Xingyang, have you ordered?” She felt it was a little strange to call her that.

Zhou Xingyang snapped out of her daze. “Yes, yes, I have.”

Shen Chutang said, “Then let’s go back.”

In the private room, the young man called A Jin answered a phone call, then said to Shen Sichen, “Brother Chen, the front desk said Mr. Shi is here. Should we go pick him up?”

Out of this group of people, only Shen Sichen had a good relationship with Shi Chengyu.

“No need. He’s probably here to find Tangtang.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Shi Chengyu walked in, holding her hand. Everyone stood up. He only looked at Shen Sichen, who was sitting there, and called out, “Second Brother.”

Everyone was a little surprised. They didn’t expect Shi Chengyu to still use the address from years ago.

Shen Sichen nodded and looked at Zhou Xingyang behind him. “Come over here.”

Zhou Xingyang’s face changed slightly. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly, and she reluctantly walked over.

Shi Chengyu had already taken her to sit down. He put his suit jacket over her shoulders. Perhaps because the private room was too quiet, it wasn’t the atmosphere that should be here. Shi Chengyu turned his head and said softly, “Do whatever you want.”

Everyone smiled. Jiang Younian picked up the microphone. He had lost the last game, and he wasn’t going to be punished with drinks today. He forgot who came up with the bad idea of being punished by singing. It was also unfortunate that Shi Chengyu happened to come over.

As soon as the music started, Jiang Younian’s face turned red, which was rare. It was a children’s song.

“Brother Younian, didn’t you like this cartoon the most when you were little? Sing it!” Someone in the crowd shouted.

Jiang Younian’s face flushed red. “You, you wait for me!”

Shen Chutang laughed at the scene, her whole body trembling as she leaned against Shi Chengyu’s chest.

This group of young masters had grown up together. They had done everything together, from running around naked to fishing in the river. They were the people who knew each other best. They laughed and teased each other.

Shen Sichen also smiled and turned his head to look at the person beside him. He saw a hint of a smile on her lips. He casually put his arm around her shoulder. “Happy?”

He watched as the smile on her lips slowly disappeared, and her lips tightened into a line.

“It’s okay.” Zhou Xingyang’s expression was indifferent. The noisy sounds around her seemed to fade away.

Shen Sichen’s hand on her shoulder tightened gradually. “When are you guys going on vacation?”

“Why are you asking that?!” Zhou Xingyang’s face showed a hint of displeasure.

Shen Sichen held back his anger. Why was she so explosive with him, but so gentle with everyone else?

“Alright, alright, we’ll talk about it when we get home.”

Shen Sichen let go of her shoulder. He was afraid that if he continued talking to her, he would get angry. He leaned back on the sofa.

Shen Chutang kept looking over. When she saw Shen Sichen put his arm around the girl, she instantly confirmed that Zhou Xingyang was the one who made him slam the door in anger.

She was just curious. How could someone like Zhou Xingyang, who had such a good temper, make someone angry? It must be Second Brother’s fault.

Shen Chutang’s face was flushed. She took another sip of her drink. It was sweet and sour, and it was quite good.

She licked her lips, leaned against Shi Chengyu’s chest, and pulled down her jacket. “Brother Chengyu, it’s so hot. When are we going back?”

Shi Chengyu held her hand. The temperature of her hand was unusually warm. “Why are you so hot?”

Shen Chutang snorted. “It’s all your fault for making me wear a jacket.”

Her voice was sweeter and softer than usual. Shi Chengyu looked at the blush on her cheeks and took a sip of her drink.

It was sweet and sour, with a faint taste of alcohol.

“Did you let her drink?”

There was a chill in his voice. The private room fell silent instantly. Shen Chutang, oblivious, rubbed against Shi Chengyu’s chest, her restless hands tugging at her jacket.

Shi Chengyu hugged her, and the glass cup made a dull thud on the table.

“M-maybe someone sent the wrong thing.” Zheng Jin stammered, looking at the drink. But there were no drinks here, only alcohol and alcohol disguised as drinks.

Even if Shen Chutang had ordered the wrong thing, they could only say that someone sent the wrong thing.

Shen Sichen also looked over and asked, “What’s wrong with Tangtang?”

“She’s a little drunk. I’ll take her back first.” Shi Chengyu frowned, wrapped her in his jacket, and strode out.

She wasn’t a little drunk. She was already incoherent, smiling foolishly.

Shen Chutang felt stuffy and hot. She waved her hands randomly, struggling. Her voice came out through the jacket. “Brother Chengyu, I’m hot. Let me go.”

Shi Chengyu, unusually, ignored her. He held her and walked quickly, not letting her go until they got into the car.

Shen Chutang had been busy and was panting, her face even redder. She was sweating, and her hair was sticking to her face.

She glared at Shi Chengyu angrily. “I hate you!”

Shi Chengyu looked at her watery eyes and chuckled softly, his tone helpless and indulgent. “Okay, you hate me.”

He hugged her again, smoothing her hair. “You’re getting bolder? You dare to drink?”

Shen Chutang looked at him, seemingly confused. Her head was dizzy, as if it was spinning. She grabbed Shi Chengyu’s wrist and said pitifully, “Brother Chengyu, my head is so dizzy. Don’t spin. Let’s go back to sleep.”

Shi Chengyu’s Adam’s apple bobbed. He looked away. “Okay.”

Perhaps because she was so dizzy. This was the first time she had drunk alcohol. The drink didn’t taste like alcohol, but it was actually a strong mixed drink. The alcohol was strong.

Shen Chutang felt like everything was spinning. It was uncomfortable to keep her eyes open, and it was uncomfortable to close them. She didn’t know how to relieve it, so she could only whimper unhappily.

Shi Chengyu felt heartbroken. He asked Lin Shulang to park the car on the side of the road and go buy some hangover medicine. He held her and comforted her.
