Chapter 195: He Doesn’t Think It’s Embarrassing to Follow
His childish voice came out, making Hu Yao and Hu Xiujie laugh.
“Auntie doesn’t need to take care of Chaochao, Chaochao can take care of Mom.” Hu Xiujie chuckled, her face looking better with the smile.
Looking at Jiang Xiaochao’s sweet and considerate appearance, her heart softened. Hu Yao was truly blessed.
“Dad will take care of Mom.” Jiang Xiaochao pouted, saying he couldn’t compete with Jiang Han. Before, when Hu Yao was still Yaoyao, she would let him help her wipe her hands.
Not anymore. If Hu Yao’s hands were dirty, she wouldn’t let him help her wipe them, and Jiang Han would always be the first to wipe them clean for her.
His father was always competing with him for Hu Yao’s attention. Before, he clearly said they both hated each other, but after Hu Yao recovered, he changed drastically.
He used to scold them both, but now he only scolds him.
However, with the addition of his younger brother, Jiang Xiaochao now had a companion and wasn’t so “lonely.”
Hu Xiujie declined his offer. Hu Yao thought for a moment and waited for Jiang Han to come before sending Hu Xiujie to the hospital together.
Qiu Yingwen happened to be at the hospital too, so they had some company.
Hu Yao had been holding Jiang Fuheng for a day, and now the little guy was getting rounder. It was tiring to hold him for long, so on the way home, Jiang Han took him over, holding him with one hand.
“Dad, my brother talked to me today.” Jiang Xiaochao held one hand on each side, skipping along.
“Your brother is quite impressive, he can give a speech at a month old! What did he say to you?” Jiang Han clicked his tongue.
“He said… I don’t know what he’s saying, he can’t speak yet.”
Hu Yao couldn’t help but laugh. “When your brother gets older, he’ll talk to you, Chaochao.”
“You can’t speak properly either, Jiang Fuchao.” Jiang Han glanced at him with disdain, then looked down at Jiang Fuheng in his arms, who was staring with curiosity.
The little guy had grown a bit and looked more like a human now, not like an ugly monkey anymore.
“Jiang Fuheng, say something to your dad.” He was in a good mood and teased him.
Jiang Fuheng blinked lightly, his eyes watery. He was playing with his own little hand, ignoring him, only glancing at him when he spoke.
“Dad, you seem to be teasing a dog.” Jiang Xiaochao thought his father teasing his brother was no different from when he was in a good mood and teased the two dogs at home.
“I used to tease you like this, there are four dogs in the house!” Jiang Han was annoyed by Jiang Fuheng’s lack of respect, and when Jiang Fuchao spoke again, he directly scolded both brothers.
“There are only four, Xiaobai, Xiaohuang, brother, and dad?” Jiang Xiaochao muttered, counting, not including himself.
Jiang Han kicked him directly.
Hu Yao couldn’t stop laughing.
Because of her childbirth and confinement period, Jiang Han had been delayed in many things, and a lot of work hadn’t been completed.
He had been running around everywhere lately, very busy.
Hu Yao didn’t need him to take care of her much now, she could take care of herself and the children perfectly well.
He went to Haicheng in the middle of the month.
He hadn’t been away for a long time, and before leaving, he nagged a lot, all of which was about letting Hu Yao and Jiang Xiaochao take care of themselves and be well-behaved.
“I know.” Hu Yao packed his clothes for him. The weather was starting to get colder, and he didn’t feel the cold at all, still wearing short sleeves.
She searched through the closet and put a jacket in his luggage.
“Don’t buy me anything anymore, there’s a lot at home.”
He would bring back a lot of things every time he came back, and she hadn’t even used many of them.
“You know there’s a lot, why don’t you use them? What’s the point of keeping them hidden?” He looked at her busy packing figure, suddenly reluctant to leave.
This trip would take him ten days or a month away from her, and he wouldn’t be able to see her. When he wasn’t home, she didn’t know who would bully her.
Those scumbags would always come to find trouble for her when he wasn’t around.
“Let Tang Haofei find someone to install a phone in a couple of days, call me if you need anything… even if you don’t need anything, you can call.” He hugged her, his big hand resting on her lower back, speaking slowly.
“Don’t hold Jiang Fuheng and run outside all day, you’re not tired, Jiang Fuchao is being naughty, you give him a good beating.”
“Eat more, why is your waist even thinner after giving birth?” Jiang Han nagged her, finally touching her waist and pinching it in dissatisfaction.
“No way.” Hu Yao looked down at her waist, thinking he was talking nonsense. Her waist was clearly thicker than before, she hadn’t recovered well after giving birth, and she still had a little belly, not as nice as before.
But he seemed to like touching the soft flesh of her belly more, he would pinch it from time to time.
He didn’t dislike her little belly, he even wanted her to eat more and get fatter.
“No way, my ass, when I come back, if you don’t reach over one hundred and fifty pounds, I’ll slaughter Jiang Fuchao’s cow.” He set a goal for her.
“Why do you always want to eat Chaochao’s cow?” Hu Yao chided him.
“I bought it, can’t I eat it? Look how thin you are, eat more, don’t be blown away by a gust of wind.” Jiang Han glared at her, and in the middle of speaking, he lifted her up with one hand.
“You’re short and skinny.” He seemed to look her up and down with disdain, saying in a low voice: “Who said you were the most beautiful woman in the area? Did you hire them?”
“… I’m not pretty!” Hu Yao slapped his hand away with a wooden face: “You shouldn’t have wanted me in the first place!”
“I wanted to, but I couldn’t. I was always stealing chickens and dogs, climbing mountains to catch monkeys, and even beating up old men, I was even worse than Jiang Fuchao, if I could have thrown you away, I would have thrown you away long ago!” Jiang Han said truthfully, seeing her angry and lively appearance, he couldn’t help but lean down and tease her again.
“I didn’t beat up any old men!” Hu Yao glared at him, feeling more and more annoyed by him. He was taking advantage of her not remembering those four years and talking nonsense, and he would often use this to make up stories about her promising him things.
“How could you not? The old man at the end of the village, how many times? You argued and cursed at him, even snatched his cane, haven’t you noticed that he always walks around you?”
Hu Yao: “…”
She didn’t know if he was telling the truth, but the grumpy old man at the end of the village did always avoid her. –>>
Seeing her, he quickly walked away with his crutch.
“…..Then, why did I hit him?” Hu Yao questioned herself, hesitant.
“He deserved it. He called you a fool and you heard him. He’s no different from Song Sikai.” Jiang Han sighed, seeing her doubtful and confused look, a hint of amusement flashed in his eyes. He then pinched her face.
“He wasn’t wrong. Why are you so resentful?” He said leisurely.
Hu Yao frowned, pushed him away in annoyance, not wanting to continue this with him. She grabbed her packed luggage and stuffed it into his hands, pursing her lips and urging him out.
Jiang Han was probably the one who had seen her embarrass herself the most. Although some of it might be made up by him to tease her.
He was a bad guy, knowing that she would be embarrassed now, he deliberately kept bringing up what she had done before to tease and laugh at her.
It made her feel uncomfortable whenever she saw those related people and things. So embarrassing.
Why didn’t he stop her? She was his wife after all. Didn’t he feel ashamed at all?
