He Left a Kiss on the Rose Chapter 43

Chapter 43: Are there things that science can’t explain?

Ning Qiutang found the warehouse behind the stadium.

This warehouse usually wouldn’t be open unless it was for a large sporting event or stage performance.

“Jiang Sheng?” She saw a crack in the door, calling out his name as she pushed it open.

Inside, there were many wooden crates and various sports equipment. She looked around.

Where was he?

“Ah!” Suddenly, a girl’s scream came from the management room inside.

Ning Qiutang frowned slightly, looking at her phone. The message she had sent to Jiang Sheng a few minutes ago hadn’t been replied to, which was a little strange.

“Jiang Sheng, is that you?”

No response. Something fell to the ground in the management room.

She turned around without hesitation and was about to leave.

But when she tried to go out, she found the door had been closed from the outside.

“Who’s outside!” Ning Qiutang was full of questions. What was Jiang Sheng trying to do?

This morning, she had just said a few things he didn’t like, was he really going to do this?

The door to the management room opened, and several girls dragged out Shu Hui, who was beaten and barely conscious.

“Sister Tang, we did as you said and gave this woman a good beating. As for Shen Wanwan, she wasn’t around today, but it’s good to get rid of her first, right Sister Tang?”

Ning Qiutang didn’t recognize them, and their words could easily push her into the abyss: “Shut up, I don’t even know you.”

“Ning Qiutang, how can you be so vicious? I didn’t provoke you, I just said a few harsh words, and you had people beat me to death. Unless I die, I won’t give in!”

Shu Hui’s face was swollen and she was lying on the ground in a state of utter disarray. She didn’t know how many slaps she had received. She glared at Ning Qiutang with anger and resentment, her eyes full of unwillingness.

The girls giggled at her: “Sister Tang, didn’t you ask us to teach this little bitch a lesson? Now you’re denying it? I have evidence of the messages you sent me.”

Ning Qiutang was already certain that someone was setting her up.

“Soon you’ll find out that all schemes and tricks are paper tigers in the face of true strength.”

The Ning family was a big family after all, this kind of petty trick couldn’t hurt her.

Shu Hui suddenly screamed loudly: “Help, help! Ning Qiutang is going to kill me!”

Ning Qiutang calmly watched her act. There was movement behind her, and the door was opened.

She turned around and saw Jiang Sheng.

And Shen Wanwan behind him.

“What’s going on? Shu Hui, why are you beaten up like this? I’ll call you an ambulance.” She looked at them in shock, as well as the woman lying on the ground, beaten beyond recognition.

She quickly ran over and pulled the woman up with a kind and caring heart.

“You guys are too much!”

“Who are you, get lost.” The girls were simply scoundrels, even more scoundrels than thugs.

Shen Wanwan grabbed the girl’s hand and pushed her away forcefully, full of righteous indignation: “Don’t go too far, this is school, not your playground.”

The girls sneered.

“Sister Tang, say something. We’re following your orders.”

Ning Qiutang rolled her eyes at them and directly asked Jiang Sheng, who was watching coldly: “Why did you send me a message to lure me here?”

Jiang Sheng quickly glanced at Shen Wanwan, who was fidgeting, and was about to explain.

The headmaster came over with the security guards.

Seeing Jiang Sheng and Ning Qiutang, the two ancestors, his face instantly turned bad.

“What’s going on?” He looked at the injured student, his blood pressure was about to rise.

Shu Hui got up and cried, her voice filled with grief and indignation: “Headmaster Lin, I don’t know what I did to offend Ning Qiutang, she actually had people bully me like this. You will stand up for me, right?”

The women, like mice seeing a cat, hurriedly said, “Director, it’s not our fault! Ning Qiutang told us to do it. Sister Tang, you said we could do it, and you would make sure we’d be fine.”

All the evidence pointed towards her.

Director Lin, seeing Ning Qiutang, who was always causing trouble, didn’t doubt the truth of the matter, as she had done things like this before.

“Ning Qiutang, is this true?”

Ning Qiutang watched them twist the truth and said, “Director Lin, I only came here because Jiang Sheng called me. They are staging this and framing me. I really don’t know why.”

The girls pulled out their phones, “We have the messages you sent us.”

Ning Qiutang took out her phone, “I didn’t…”

When she opened her phone, she found that she indeed had those girls on her friend list, and she had sent them messages about disciplining Shu Hui.

What was going on?

“Director Lin, look, she’s lying!” The girls said triumphantly.

Director Lin looked at his nephew and his future wife, feeling a headache coming on. “Ning Qiutang, I will handle this fairly.”

“Uncle, I did ask Ningning to come to the warehouse. As for them…” Jiang Sheng spoke up, walking to the ventilation shaft of the warehouse management room and taking out a miniature camera from above.

He then pulled out his phone and found the real-time monitoring.

When the footage from the monitoring appeared, it showed the girls standing with Shu Hui.

Shu Hui: “Go easy on her.”

One of the girls: “If we go easy on her, it won’t be believable. No one will believe us.”

Shu Hui: “Won’t we get caught doing this?”

Another girl: “Don’t worry, she said we won’t get caught.”

Then Shu Hui was beaten.

Later, Ning Qiutang’s voice could be heard calling Jiang Sheng. The rest, as they knew, was history.

Shu Hui, seeing the evidence, immediately went weak in the knees and looked fearfully at the cold, young man. “I… Director Lin, I just…”

“It was all…”

Just as she was about to reveal the true mastermind, she suddenly stopped.

“It was all what? Don’t just say ‘it was all.’ You reap what you sow. The school’s safety committee will criticize and expel you.

“And you lot, you’re not studying, you’re just messing around. If you don’t want to be students, then go be what you want to be.”

Director Lin sighed in relief. Thankfully, it had nothing to do with Ning Qiutang. Otherwise, it would have been a huge mess.

Shen Wanwan clenched her fists, looking at Jiang Sheng, who was always defending Ning Qiutang, her eyes filled with resentment and anger.

Shu Hui glared fiercely at the mastermind behind the scenes, Shen Wanwan. Why couldn’t she say her name?

Jiang Sheng took out his phone. He indeed didn’t see any messages he had sent to Ning Qiutang, but he didn’t mind lying to protect his person.

He would leave the rest to his uncle.

He directly took Ning Qiutang away.

“My phone doesn’t have any records of messages I sent you.” Jiang Sheng said to the thoughtful girl beside him.

Ning Qiutang showed him her chat history, “But I have them.”

Jiang Sheng saw that it was indeed his number sending the messages, and his face grew cold. “That’s strange.”

“If it wasn’t you, then who sent them?” Ning Qiutang thought about her rebirth. Were there really things in this world that science couldn’t explain?
