In the VIP room of the Lido.
Jia Bao, the top dancer of the lido was sitting on the edge of the bed and staring intently at a sleeping man in her bed. It was none other than Chen Jianan who was too drunk to know what was going on around him.
In the walled city, Chen Jianan was famous for his beauty rather than the thug. The name Pretty Boy South was far-fetched everywhere, so how should it miss Lido? As a top dancer, Jia Bao also knew him.
As a happy girl, she used to be accustomed to all kinds of customers, from young chicks to stinky old men, and rarely got a good-looking man. But she still had fantasies about handsome men, let alone the famous pretty boy South who had never been to a woman.
Today was like her dream come true, even after some time passed still she couldn’t believe her eyes. The famous pretty boy was here in her room and sleeping in her bed. Before leaving Zhao Asi also confided to her, that Anan was a little chicken, and asked her to give him a good meal.
After looking at him for a while, a mischievous smile formed on her lips and she quietly leaned forward, stroking the collar of his shirt with her long and slender fingers, just as her finger came into contact with his neck, the person who was still sleeping peacefully on the bed suddenly opened his eyes and then rolled violently off the other side of the bed. Lying on the edge, he vigilantly looked at her as if he was facing an enemy.
After looking around the surroundings he looked at smiling Jia Bao on the bed, and stammered: “This…Where is this?”
Jia Bao smiled charmingly: “Brother Anan, you forgot, it was Master Leopard who asked me to take care of you tonight.”
Having said that, she propped her hands on the bed and crawled towards him beautifully like a snake.
Jia Bao was really worthy of a top dancer, with a small face, bright pear-blossom eyes and pink lips with enough curves in her body. And the exquisite makeup on her face refrained her beauty more, making her more attractive, like a seductive demon who could make men’s spirits turn upside down.
“Wait a minute!” Chen Jianan anxiously stretched out his hand to stop her movement. He rubbed his aching forehead and tried to recall what had happened before and the chaotic memory returned little by little.
~Time returned to the evening.
After sending Qiao Wen off, he went to the bank to exchange their money for Hong Kong notes and went to the stock exchange to exchange for stocks as he instructed. And happily returned home with the priceless stock certificate with lots of dreams. Not long after he returned he was called by Zhao Shanhai’s younger brother to revitalize the martial arts hall.
Although the trip to Vietnam went well and was said the matter between him and Qin Yuenfei was written off, he knew very well it wasn’t that easy and Zhao Shanhai would not let him slide off, after all Qin Yunfei was his half-adopted son, so it was inevitable to avoid suffering a flesh and blood attack, and he was already prepared for this.
He didn’t have any other abilities, and the only thing he was top-notch was resisting the beating. He quietly wore a piece of armor on his chest before going to the Revitalizing Martial Arts Hall.
Arriving at the Martial Arts Hall he saw that all the big men of the Hexing Society were gathered there, except Qin Yunfei, who was still recovering.
Except for the day he joined the club, it was his first time seeing all the bosses.
He respectfully bowed to Zhao Shanhai, sitting in the grandmaster’s chair: “Master Leopard!”
Zhao Shanhai lifted his eyelids and after glancing at him meaningfully, he winked at Uncle Cao next to him.
Uncle Cao nodded his head in understanding, reached out his hand to the position in front of the shrine, and said, “Chen Jianan, why are you still standing? Get on your knees.”
Chen Jianan knew he was going to be punished, and honestly knelt down to the ground.
Uncle Cao said in a stern voice: “Chen Jianan, you committed the crime of injuring the red stick Qin Yunfei. According to the gang rules, you will be sinking alive in the sea to die for heavy punishment, and the light will be three swords and six holes. But because you have made a great contribution to Vietnam this time, Leopard will only punish you with twenty sticks.”
Chen Jianan: “Thank you, Lord Leopard.”
Uncle Cao nodded to the two ponies next to him, and they came forward with long sticks.
Although Chen Jianan wore armor, it could only block the blades, and had little effect on the stick. His muscles were tight, and he carried the Qi of Dantian, but in the end he was still a flesh and blood body. Although his physique from years of martial arts training could ensure that he would not suffer internal injuries under the sticks, but it was hard to avoid the pain of solid flesh.
When the stick came down, he only felt the burning pain on his back, and he rebuked Zhao Shanhai’s ancestors for 18 generations — it was clear that his four characters of loyalty had nothing to do with him.
After the punishment was over, Zhao Shanhai showed his signature smile and said: “Anan, you went to Vietnam to make amends for your mistake, and today you were punished according to the gang rules. So the previous incident of injuring Afei and his poines will be written off from now on, and everyone will be good brother. Leopard has always cherished talent. Since you have the ability to fight ten, and also have the upper hand on Fei, letting you go back as a four ninth boy is impossible.” Saying here he paused for a while and cleared his throat, “From today on, you Chen Jianan will be our fourth red stick in our He Xing society.”
Chen Jianan raised his head in astonishment and was dazed for a moment
Zhao Shanhai looked at him with a smile, “What Anan? Not happy to be a red stick?”
Chen Jianan returned to his senses and quickly revealed a grateful look: “Thank you, Lord Leopard.”
The club awards the red stick with a set of solemn rituals.
Uncle Cao, standing by the square table of the shrine, picked up a wine bowl in one hand and a wooden stick tied with red silk in the other. “Chen Jianan, take your orders!” he said in a loud and stern voice.
Chen Jianan got up dazedly, stepped over the brazier next to him, knelt before the shrine again, took the wine bowl, cut his finger, dripped blood into the wine, drank it with his head up, and then took the red stick and turned towards the statue of Guan Erye on the shrine, Kowtowed three heads.
Coming here to get punished and become a red stick everything went in one go and before he even knew the ceremony was all done.
It means he jumped from the four-nine to become the new red stick of the He Xing Society.
He Xing Society was a small association of less than a thousand people, with three red sticks, and then Jiang Yufeng double red stick, which meant that from on, there were only a few higher-ranking people than him.
Originally, Chen Jianan only wanted to settle the dispute with Qin Yunfei and keep his life and family safe, but did not expect to suddenly come to such a peak circuit, because the turn was so big that he did not come back to his senses for a long time.
Just listen to Zhao Shanhai and say again: “Anan, you are now a red stick. The society’s stability has your share of responsibility. We and Xing society do not intend to have a grudge with young master Zhou. You should settle the dispute between Young Master Zhou and Afei, and let him stop trouble Afie again.”
Chen Jianan: “Understood, Lord Leopard.”
Jiang Yufeng walked over, patted him on the shoulder, and whispered, “Anan, congratulations.”
