Transmigrated into a Novel as the Villain, He Kidnapped the Male Lead Chapter 34

Yu Qingyue frowned, vaguely sensing that something was wrong. He quickly stepped forward and reached out to help, “What happened?”

Jiang Cheng turned to look at the newcomer, her eyes immediately lighting up. “Male—” The word “male lead” nearly slipped out of her mouth, and she hurriedly changed her tone. “He… he seems to be drunk?!”

Yu Qingyue was instantly speechless. So he’s just a drunkard, and he got so frantic over it. He relaxed his grip, causing Yu Wanlai to slump back into the chair. With the sudden release of pressure, Jiang Cheng almost stumbled and fell onto Yu Wanlai, but luckily, she managed to brace herself against the wall in time.

Yu Wanlai, with the sudden shadow looming above him, struggled to open his eyes. When he raised his head, he saw Jiang Cheng leaning over him. Despite his weakness, he still had the energy to joke in a hoarse, almost inaudible voice, “I… I warn you… stay away from me… don’t want to be tempted… you better… stay away today…”

Jiang Cheng’s eyes widened in shock, and she quickly took a few steps back, staring at him. “You… you…” Has he gone crazy?

Only when Jiang Cheng stepped back did Yu Qingyue notice the abnormal color on Yu Wanlai’s face. He took a step forward, bent down, and placed his hand on Yu Wanlai’s forehead, which was burning hot. “You have a fever? With how you wrap yourself up like a polar bear every day, how do you have a fever?”

Yu Wanlai finally noticed Yu Qingyue and felt the cool touch on his forehead. He relaxed and sighed in comfort. “Hmm~”

Yu Qingyue frowned. What kind of behavior was this? But right now, he didn’t want to get into it. He steadied Yu Wanlai’s head to prevent him from falling, then took out his phone and called Bai Yi. “Hey, Bai Yi, do you have an extra car? I have an urgent matter here!”

Hearing him mention Bai Yi, Yu Wanlai suddenly remembered something he had overlooked. He reached out and patted Yu Qingyue, but accidentally slapped him in the stomach. Yu Qingyue immediately looked down at him with a glare. “What are you doing? Where are you touching?!”

Yu Wanlai clicked his tongue. It was just his arm. Why could he touch his head but not his arm? Though this arm was oddly soft. He shook his head and pulled his disorganized thoughts back together. “Ask him about Bai Jian… the room… something’s off… huff—”

Bai Yi was on the other end of the line, confused. “What? Who touched you?”

Yu Qingyue took a deep breath, too lazy to deal with these two idiots. He asked again, “How’s Bai Jian doing?”

Bai Yi turned to look at Bai Jian. “Don’t even mention it. She’s still asleep, like a dead pig! I can’t wake her up…”

Yu Qingyue looked down at Yu Wanlai, then decided it was better to be cautious. “Why don’t you bring Bai Jian downstairs as well? I’m about to take Yu Wanlai to the hospital. She should get checked too, it’ll make everyone feel better.”

Bai Yi completely ignored the part about Yu Wanlai. The guy had helped him today, so lending him a car wasn’t a problem, but he wasn’t going to care about him. “Alright! Wait for me, we’ll go through the back door!”

Just as the call ended, Yu Wanlai leaned toward Yu Qingyue, burying his face in his chest. He felt Yu Qingyue’s entire body was cool, with a faint scent of fresh oranges, which was very comforting.

Yu Qingyue’s ears turned slightly pink. He wanted to push Yu Wanlai away since he wasn’t used to being this close to someone, but perhaps noticing Yu Qingyue’s intentions, Yu Wanlai wrapped his other arm around his waist, locking him tightly in place.

Yu Qingyue struggled for a while, but the more he struggled, the tighter Yu Wanlai held on. He sighed, thinking that Yu Wanlai must be clingy because he was sick. He decided to let it go and treated it as a way to return the favor for the care he had received earlier.

Jiang Cheng, standing a few steps away, was so shocked that her eyes nearly popped out. “Wow… What?! I didn’t expect the boss to be into guys!!! And now he’s taking advantage of the male lead… Looks like being stubborn and fearless comes with consequences!”

She looked up at Yu Qingyue and, after a moment, nodded with realization. “Well… with him looking like that, I guess I can’t blame the boss for losing control.”

When Jiang Cheng glanced back, her eyes met Yu Qingyue’s. His gaze was cold, indifferent, with an aura of aloofness. Being stared at like that made her feel guilty and she quickly looked away.

Yu Qingyue’s scrutinizing gaze lingered on Jiang Cheng for just a moment before it quickly shifted away. He took out a business card from his suit pocket and handed it to Jiang Cheng. “Thanks for your help today. This is my business card. If you need anything in the future, feel free to contact me…”

At that moment, Yu Wanlai, who was being held, began acting up again, as if he wasn’t satisfied with just being in Yu Qingyue’s arms. He bit the button on his fitted vest and tugged at it with force. By the time Yu Qingyue noticed and bent down to stop him, the button had already come off and was spit out by Yu Wanlai.

“Clink!” The sound of the button hitting the floor coincided with Bai Yi arriving, carrying Bai Jian on his back, finally coming downstairs.

When he saw the scene in front of him, he stood frozen in shock. “You… you guys…”

Yu Qingyue clicked his tongue and urged, “Hurry up! We’ve been waiting for you. Stop stalling!”

Bai Yi snapped out of his daze. “Oh.” The group then headed towards the mansion’s garage.

Yu Wanlai was far more difficult than Bai Jian. He insisted that both Yu Qingyue and Jiang Cheng help him until he was finally placed in the car. With so many people, they ended up taking a seven-seater sedan.

During the journey, Bai Jian seemed to remain asleep, and there was no movement from her throughout the ride. Not wanting things to escalate, Bai Yi had to be the one to drive.

He asked Jiang Cheng to sit beside Bai Jian to keep an eye on her, as it would be more convenient since they were both women. Otherwise, Bai Yi wouldn’t have been able to carry Bai Jian downstairs so slowly. The car was quiet the entire way, with only the occasional rustling sound of clothes rubbing together from the back seats, along with Yu Qingyue’s low scolding every now and then.

Yu Qingyue clenched his teeth. When the last button on his vest fell off, he could no longer endure it and grabbed Yu Wanlai’s cheeks. “Are you done? Are you a dog? Why do you keep biting?”

Jiang Cheng: … Not a dog, a horny dog.

Bai Yi: !!! This damn dog.

Yu Wanlai grumbled discontentedly, struggling to free himself from Yu Qingyue’s grip and lunged again. When Yu Wanlai’s hand moved toward his clothes, Yu Qingyue finally noticed something was wrong. A normal person wouldn’t act like this when they had a fever, right? His gaze dropped to Yu Wanlai. Suddenly, his pupils shrank, and after blinking in disbelief to confirm what he was seeing, he quickly grabbed Yu Wanlai’s collar and forcefully threw him to the side. His breathing quickened for a moment as he used his foot to push Yu Wanlai against the car window, preventing him from moving any further.

He gritted his teeth and muttered angrily, “Are you out of your mind? You’re sick, and you’re still acting like this?”

He had been wondering how he could get so clingy while sick.

Jiang Cheng couldn’t sit still any longer. She turned around in panic. “Well, Yu Qing—how about I take care of him?” She feared that if she didn’t act now, her boss might not survive until the morning.

Her suggestion was awkward, but she didn’t notice.

Yu Qingyue frowned and glanced at Jiang Cheng. He hadn’t paid much attention to her before, but now he noticed that their familiarity with each other didn’t seem like a recent acquaintance. However, with how Yu Wanlai was acting right now, there was no way he was going to let anyone else touch him. Who knew what that guy would do?

“You are?” Yu Qingyue coldly asked.

Jiang Cheng was momentarily unsure of how to introduce her relationship with Yu Wanlai, but she had to answer the question. She briefly said, “I’m a good friend of the boss!”

Yu Qingyue frowned even harder. “Boss?” What kind of title was that?

Jiang Cheng waited for a long time, thinking she was being rejected. She thought to herself, this isn’t because I didn’t step in; if anything happens to the boss, he can’t blame me for not being helpful.

Just as Yu Qingyue and Jiang Cheng exchanged a few words, the person pressed against the car window started to become restless again. Yu Qingyue’s ears felt strangely warm, and his heartbeat quickened.

Yu Wanlai felt incredibly hot. He ripped off his tie and tossed it aside. Noticing that his leg was being pressed against something, he tried to reach down to push it away, but instead, he encountered the cool sensation that he found so appealing. He reached for Yu Qingyue’s ankle.

Before long, the skin there began to warm up, and he continued to slide his hand further down, along the pants leg, deeper.

Yu Qingyue clenched his teeth. This dog is really out of his mind today. He almost wanted to throw him out of the car and leave him behind.

In the struggle, he grabbed the tie on the seat, had an idea, and used it to firmly tie Yu Wanlai’s hands together. Once secured, he let out a heavy breath and shot a sharp glare at Yu Wanlai.

Seeing him only futilely struggle, Yu Qingyue inexplicably felt a strange sense of relief and satisfaction in his heart. After all the trouble Yu Wanlai had caused all night, even his back was a little damp.

The next morning, sunlight streamed through the crack in the curtains, shining directly onto Yu Wanlai’s tightly closed eyelids. His face rubbed against the pillow a few times, then he lifted the blanket that was covering his face.

Suddenly, he remembered something was wrong with his body last night. He quickly opened his eyes, only to see Yu Qingyue lying on the bed next to him. He blinked. Wasn’t Jiang Cheng with him yesterday? When did the person change? That little brat, can’t really count on her.

A few kilometers away, Jiang Cheng, who had just left home and was on her way to the hospital, suddenly sneezed. She tightened the scarf around her neck, sighing about how cold the weather was.

Yu Wanlai scanned the surroundings and finally realized that he was in a hospital. His gaze returned to Yu Qingyue, and a pleased smile curved at the corners of his mouth. The male lead is the male lead—he hadn’t treated him badly before, and now it was paying off. He took out his phone to check the time. It was only 6 a.m., and he hadn’t woken up this early in a long time.

His eyes caught sight of Yu Qingyue turning over in bed, about to roll off. His heart skipped a beat, and he rushed over to stop him, pushing him back onto the bed. Yu Wanlai let out a sigh of relief and planned to go to the bathroom to freshen up first, then go out for breakfast.

There were no extra clothes in the hospital room, so he had to put on the same suit from yesterday. Standing in front of the bathroom mirror, Yu Wanlai noticed a large footprint on his chest. He frowned in confusion. What was this? Who stepped on him?
