After a few days, the day of the studio’s official opening finally arrived.

She, Zhang Qiyao, and Zhou Ying discussed it and decided that Zhou Ying would be the face of the store, while they would blend into the crowd to observe the customer response. After all, if word got out that Zhang Qiyao was an investor, the store would be packed.

Qin Ruyan felt a little nervous. She held a water cup and took several sips.

They walked around, paying attention to the comments of the people coming in.

She turned her head and looked at them. They were both good-looking, with youthful faces. The girl was staring intently at a skirt.

A black, short, waist-revealing hoodie with no patterns on the front or back, but with rose embroidery on the arms. The matching high-waisted tulle skirt was the same color, with small rhinestones embellishing it.

She glanced at the price tag, then at the young couple, and hesitated for a moment before approaching them.

“Little sister, do you like this outfit?” She smiled. The girl in the couple looked up at her and nodded.

“Yes, sister. There’s a performance at our school, and I’m going to perform a solo dance. I think this outfit would match my dance, but it’s too expensive for me.”

The girl lowered her head. Both she and her boyfriend were still students, living on their parents’ money. They occasionally worked part-time to earn some extra money, but a five-figure outfit was definitely beyond their reach. She just felt a little sad about it, but didn’t complain.

The boy beside her didn’t say anything. They really didn’t have the ability to afford it now, and they didn’t feel inferior because of it. He reached out and stroked the girl’s head, comforting her.

Qin Ruyan seemed to see a glimpse of herself when she was studying abroad, facing difficulties and having to overcome them alone. She wasn’t a particularly kind person, but everyone she met had given her warmth, and she wanted to give back to others within her means.

“Little sister, I can give you this outfit. But can you promise to invite me to watch your performance when you go on stage?”

The girl looked up in surprise, her face full of disbelief.

Beside her, Zhang Qiyao sighed. Her best friend, her sister-in-law, was always so soft-hearted.

Qin Ruyan smiled. “Then just pay me 88 yuan. It’s my first day of business, and you’re my first customer. Give me a good omen, okay?”

She opened the studio to make money, but the girl in front of her reminded her of her own past in some ways.

“You’re beautiful. Wear my clothes and perform, and you can promote my studio.”

Li Pan looked up at Qin Ruyan. Her reason told her not to take it, but deep down, she was tempted.

Qin Ruyan saw her hesitation and thought for a moment before speaking again.

“How about you post a Weibo mentioning us? Consider it a promotional fee. When you graduate and start earning money, you can buy it then. I’ll give you a lifetime discount of 20%.”

Zhang Qiyao smiled. “I invested only because this is your studio, Yanyan. I never thought about splitting the profits or anything. I was just worried that you might need money. As for studio decisions, Yanyan, you still have 100% say.”
