Chapter 79: Watching the Performance 2 (Ambiguous)

Gu Ze smiled and put some hot meat on her plate. The two of them ate quite quickly.

He paid the bill and sent Li Pan back to Beijing University before turning to leave.

Li Pan watched his departing figure until he was out of sight, then turned and walked into the dormitory.

She went to the dormitory to get some clothes to change into, and then went to the bathroom to wash her hair and take a shower. It was almost three o’clock by the time she came out.

The school celebration was starting at six o’clock tonight, and she still had to go to the student union to prepare.

Li Pan took the clothes Qin Ruyan had given her from her suitcase, put them in a bag, and then carried the bag out of the dormitory door, walking towards the school’s student union center.

Qin Chaoyang didn’t say anything more, just smiled. His nephew-in-law was capable, ambitious, and had a good vision. It was rare that he was also humble.

Upstairs, Qin Ruyan slept until almost four o’clock before waking up.

She woke up to find Lu Jingchen sitting beside her, holding a laptop and typing on the keyboard.

She turned over, shifted her body, and rested her head on his thigh, mumbling, “What are you doing?”

Lu Jingchen was looking at the documents that the program had sent him. His eyes were a bit cold, fixed on the screen. Hearing her voice, he paused for a moment, suppressed the emotions in his eyes, lowered his head, looked at her head resting on his thigh, closed the laptop, and pinched her ear.

“Looking at a document. Did you wake up?”

Qin Ruyan hummed, “Almost. I have to go to Beijing University later.”

“Are you in a hurry to get there? Do you want to buy a cup of milk tea first?” Lu Jingchen lowered his head and fastened her seatbelt, then asked.

Qin Ruyan hummed, “Let’s go buy two cups of milk tea first? Two cups of strawberry pearl milk tea, one full sugar, one half sugar.”

Lu Jingchen smiled, “Are you ordering two cups to share one with me?”

Qin Ruyan smiled, “It’s for Li Pan, she said she’s going to perform a dance, and usually needs to pay attention to weight management, right? So I’ll buy her a half-sugar one.”

Lu Jingchen looked at her waist, “How come you drink full sugar and don’t gain weight, and you’re still so thin?”

Qin Ruyan nonchalantly said, “Maybe I have a special constitution?”

Lu Jingchen was a little convinced, “Okay, you’re right, let’s go buy milk tea first and then go to Beijing University?”

Qin Ruyan hummed.

Half an hour later, they arrived at the entrance of Beijing University.

At the teaching building, the principal stood outside the performance hall for a while.
