Chapter 5: Young People Should Date More

“Don’t move! You have a mild concussion and need to rest.” Yu Feng reached out to support Sang Tian, helping her lie down on the bed.

“What happened to me?” Sang Tian looked around the ward.

The ward was large and well-equipped, clearly a VIP ward.

There was no one else around her, only Yu Feng guarding her bedside.

There were dark circles under his eyes, he must have stayed up all night with her.

“Forgot? Your car grazed my car and hit the tree in front. Luckily, I swerved in time, otherwise, the two of us would be lying here.” Yu Feng poured a glass of warm water, helped her sit up, his voice gentle, “Drink some water first.”

Bo Si must have been looking for her.

It was all from the bar manager.

She had thought too much.

He was probably lovey-dovey with his fiancée, why would he call her?

“For such a small matter, you can call Ouyang Heng. Don’t call me unless it’s something important!”

“Why?” Sang Tian asked, trying to hold back her tears.

“Busy!”

“Hello…”

Before Sang Tian could ask further, the other side had hung up the phone impatiently, as if he was in a hurry.

He really had a new love and forgot his old one, even his voice was so impatient when he answered the phone.

Her head started to hurt again.

Her whole body ached.

Sang Tian endured the pain and pressed the call button.

The doctor and nurse rushed over, examined her, and prescribed her IV fluids.

The nurse Yu Feng had hired brought over a thermos, “Miss Sang, haven’t you eaten yet? Young Master Yu asked me to bring you some vegetable and lean meat porridge.”

Sang Tian drank the porridge and took a nap.

When she woke up, there was a knock on the door, and Yu Feng pushed it open. Behind him, a figure flashed past. Even though it was just for a moment, she still recognized him.

It was Bo Si.

She had been with him for over a decade, she knew him too well.

Was he here to see her?

Sang Tian looked towards the door.

“What are you looking at?” Yu Feng walked over.

“… I think I saw my uncle.”

“You mean Bo Si? I ran into him in the hallway just now.”

“He came to…” Sang Tian’s voice was filled with hope.

“I heard that Miss Jiang had an animal hair allergy last night, and Bo Si stayed in the ward to take care of her for a day and a night.” Yu Feng sat down, looking like he had discovered some incredible secret, “I always thought Bo Si was cold and uncaring, but I saw him looking tired and worried just now. He clearly has Jiang Wantang in his heart.”

So he was taking care of Jiang Wantang.

He said he was busy.

Too busy to even answer her phone.

She suddenly remembered many years ago, when she was peeling an apple, the knife accidentally cut her hand. He panicked, quickly snatched the knife from her hand, and asked someone to get the first aid kit.

As soon as she was discharged, a call came from the butler at the old mansion. The voice she heard was her grandmother’s.

Then came Old Madam Bo’s call, “Have you thought it over?”

Did she have any choice? Was Bo Si worth it?

“Let my grandmother go, I’ll marry Yu Feng.”

“Don’t worry, your grandmother is fine at the nursing home. I just had someone go see her. Since you’ve made your choice, then break it off completely. Don’t let me hear anything bad, otherwise, you’ll bear the consequences.”

After Old Madam Bo finished speaking, she changed her tone, becoming softer, “The weather is nice tomorrow, go to South Lake Mountain with Yu Feng to admire the winter plums! Young people should date more.”

For so many days, until she was discharged from the hospital, Bo Si hadn’t sent her a single message. Sang Tian smiled and sent him a message.

“We’re breaking up, I’m going to marry Yu Feng.”
