Chapter 28: These Two Are Not to Be Provoked

“You little slut, you dare to insult me like that. Just watch me tear your filthy mouth apart!”

Old Lady Sun shouted furiously. She had been waiting at home for good news about her brother, but instead, she received the news that her brother had been tied up and thrown into the yard by this little slut.

She was anxious, fearing that if too much time passed, something unexpected might happen, so she needed to find a way to rescue her brother.

She thought about asking her brother what had happened, but he remained silent. She was very worried.

But he knew things wouldn’t be as simple as they appeared. He pulled Yu Zihan aside.

Although Yu Zihan felt a bit of gratitude toward the person for saving her mother, she didn’t want to get entangled with him. Deep down, she had a strong aversion to men.

“Just talk properly; why pull and tug?” she shot him a harsh look.

Gu Jingxuan didn’t mind the little girl’s attitude and continued to ask, “What’s going on?”

Yu Zihan didn’t hold back and honestly reported to Gu Jingxuan about Old Lady Sun’s schemes against her mother and how these people had tried to break in under the cover of night to commit harm.
