Chapter 35 : Become someone that others are afraid of.
At this moment, she wasn’t sleepy at all she had already slept too much in the afternoon.
Remembering that she hadn’t checked her current small treasury, Ye Suiwan returned to the dormitory, locked the door, and went straight into the space.
She kept most of her valuables here.
Safe!
Opening her small box, Ye Suiwan took out three bankbooks, four bundles of large-denomination bills, some loose money, and a thick stack of vouchers.
“I’m so rich!”
She first opened the bankbooks, which undoubtedly belonged to her parents and two brothers.
The one with the largest balance was her mother’s, it actually had thousands of yuan in it. Wow, was she already a millionaire at such a young age?
Ye Suiwan quickly understood the numbers. Her mother had been gone for 11 years, and she had left her a thousand yuan each year.
Next was her father’s account, which had 3,000 yuan, and then her two older brothers’, which had 2,000 yuan.
Adding to that the four bundles of large-denomination notes worth 400 yuan, and the scattered change amounting to 75.83 yuan, she now had a total of over 0.83 yuan in cash on hand.
As for the vouchers, most of them were valid nationwide, and many were military-issued with no expiration date.
After counting her own savings, she looked at the ones Xiao Yuyan had given her last time, she had stored them away without checking carefully.
The two bankbooks had a combined total of 4,263.95 yuan. The most recent deposit in one of them was for 800 yuan, likely a bonus.
Adding in the 999 yuan dowry she had given herself, the total exceeded 5,000 yuan.
Seeing such a large number, Ye Suiwan couldn’t even calculate anymore.
She carefully reorganized everything, closed the box, and from now on, she could take what she needed at any time.
It was safe, convenient, and worry-free to store everything in the space.
Right now, she really just wanted to lie down.
Ye Suiwan felt that as long as she could stay quietly by Xiao Yuyan’s side for the rest of her life, she would have everything she needed.
As long as she wasn’t a burden, and her father and brothers continued to thrive, everything would go smoothly.
But this thought only flashed through her mind briefly.
The reason why others dared to target her was because she was the weakest among the four members of her family.
At this moment, Ye Suiwan set a small goal for herself to become someone others would fear.
If anyone wanted to touch her, they would have to consider whether they could bear the consequences.
It seemed like her father and two brothers weren’t intimidating enough!
Then, as a family, they had to level up together!
After her rebirth, she was Niu Hulu Suiwan, and no one would ever dare bully her or her family again.
With a plan in mind, Ye Suiwan started pondering what kind of person would command fear and respect.
After thinking it over, the answer was clear: someone valuable. Someone valuable to the country.
It was the 1970s, resources were scarce, medical care and medicine were lacking, and the country was still weak with outdated weapons.
Of course, this was just what her little brain could come up with for now.
Resources? She had her small space, so that wasn’t an issue, but how could she transport them to the market openly? That was a big problem.
Lack of medical care and medicine? She knew nothing about medicine, but she could grow medicinal herbs. Maybe in the future, she could learn some medical skills from her mother-in-law?
As for outdated weapons, Ye Suiwan was genuinely interested in them. She had handled guns many times since childhood and had played with them in the army with her father.
But if she really wanted to start from there, she felt she wasn’t capable enough yet and didn’t know where to begin.
After thinking it over, she realized she was still a total novice!
[Master, why are you so sad?]
Xiaobao had been observing her for a while. Seeing how excited she had been while counting money, her smile almost stretching to the back of her head , she hadn’t wanted to interrupt. But now, she suddenly looked like she was about to cry.
“Oh right, you’re here too!”
“Xiaobao, what should I do if I want to become a weapons expert, or even a top-level weapons expert?”
With no one else to talk to, Ye Suiwan could only chat with Xiaobao.
Maybe there would be a surprise!
[That’s it?]
Hearing the contempt in Xiaobao’s tone, Ye Suiwan could already imagine his smug little face.
“What do you mean ‘that’s it’? How many top weapons experts do you think exist in the entire country?”
“You really have no physical body, huh? No need to worry about keeping your waist straight?”
Ye Suiwan shot back.
[Master, that’s a personal attack! If you want to see a cute little baby, you’d better work hard on farming!]
Xiaobao pouted.
“No, seriously, do you have any ideas?”
Ye Suiwan snapped back to reality.
[Hmph!]
Xiaobao, the all-powerful, scoffed. Weapons? That was nothing!
“Xiaobao is amazing, Xiaobao is wonderful, Xiaobao is the best, tell me quickly! I also want to farm, but I’m limited to ten acres a day. What should I do?”
Ye Suiwan pleaded pitifully.
Hearing this, Xiaobao immediately started wagging his tail.
He knew this was his master’s current limit. Once the Time Mall opened, she could buy advanced potions, and then she would be able to break past her physical limitations again.
But he wasn’t going to say that just yet.
[Master, don’t forget one of the drawers in your chest is full of books. Look for ones about weapons. How much you can learn depends on you.]
[The farm space is mainly for planting. Stick to the principle of self-reliance, more work, more rewards.]
Xiaobao puffed up proudly.
Ye Suiwan’s eyes were already filled with books, nearly drowning her.
There were so many! Just looking at them made her feel sleepy.
She randomly picked one up and flipped it open, finding that it was a textbook from the country with the most advanced weaponry.
“My goodness, Xiaobao, you’re incredible! You even got this?”
Ye Suiwan gasped in amazement.
[That’s nothing. Master, just work hard to unlock the Time Mall, and you’ll get an even bigger surprise.]
[Oh, and by the way, all the books in this space can only be read inside the space. You can’t take them outside unless you memorize them.]
“Got it! I’ll remember that!”
Ye Suiwan didn’t bother asking why. This whole thing was already bending the rules of reality, why question it? Just accept it!
