Chapter 95: A Little Kiss

After buying groceries together, the couple returned home and started preparing dinner.

Chen Lu found it quite novel. The last time they went grocery shopping together, he was still fantasizing about it. Now, he could actually hold this silly girl’s hand and buy groceries.

It was really nice.

He called his parents to check their location, confirming they would be a while, then he ran into the kitchen and started helping Liang Zhirou.

Hearing strange noises, Chen Mo excitedly pressed her ear against the door, then peeked inside with a puzzled expression.

“What are you guys doing?”

“Cooking,” Chen Lu said matter-of-factly.

“You’re cooking?” Chen Mo ran out excitedly. She loved Chen Lu’s cooking. Usually, she had to beg him for a long time before he would cook for her.

“Your sister-in-law. Let me tell you, she’s a great cook.”

Liang Zhirou had clearly given up struggling. Hearing Chen Lu say this, she just continued doing her own thing.

“Liang Zhirou.” Chen Lu called her softly.

“What’s wrong…” Liang Zhirou was like a flower thief caught red-handed. Her whole body trembled. She dared not turn around, for fear that Chen Lu would be angry and retaliate by holding her down and kissing her.

Chen Lu recalled the feeling just now and joked, “You’re getting something for free.”

Liang Zhirou felt inexplicably guilty from his words. “No, I’m not.”

“Then let me kiss you back.”

“No…”

“Hurry, hurry.”

“I already kissed you!” Liang Zhirou pleaded with Chen Lu, continuously retreating.

The two of them were fooling around in the kitchen until they heard the sound of the door opening at the entrance. Chen Lu cleared his throat and walked out.

“She’s in the kitchen making dinner for you,” Chen Lu said proudly.

Chen Lu looked at his mother’s back and sighed helplessly.

Then he heard his father sigh at the same time.

“Why are you sighing?” Chen Lu frowned.

Chen Guanglin sat down on the sofa, looking very tired. “Your mom originally found a very expensive restaurant, but I spent a lot of effort persuading her.”

She sat there straight and stiff, her hands clasped tightly together.
