Chapter 10: He’s Here
Jiang You sat on the sofa, obediently waiting for Wen Nian to come back. During this time, several men approached her to flirt, but she blocked them all with a “no entry” demeanor.
Perhaps feeling a bit tipsy, she sensed her mind wasn’t functioning very clearly, even experiencing some hallucinations.
“Little sister, are you here alone for some fun?”
The voice seemed to come from afar.
Jiang You hesitated for two seconds and turned her gaze to the right, where a young man had sat down next to her, his thin lips curling into a mischievous smile.
Another one.
She waved her right hand dismissively, “No chatting, just leave.”
“Oh, so aloof?” The man moved a bit closer.
Alarm bells rang in Jiang You’s mind, and she immediately sat up straight, creating some distance.
Tang Yu chuckled, “No need to be so tense, I’m not a bad guy.”
Jiang You found it distasteful; bad guys always claimed to be good.
Noticing her wariness, Tang Yu couldn’t help but laugh; luckily, she wasn’t a silly girl who would be fooled that easily.
“What you’re drinking is ‘lost purity.’ It tastes like fruit juice, but it’s actually very strong; it’s not suitable for you.”
Jiang You glanced at her empty glass, and after a slight delay, she asked, “How do you know so much?”
Tang Yu replied, “Of course, I run the Sheng Tang business and know all the drinks around here.”
The Tang family was also wealthy; although they couldn’t overshadow the Fu family, they were still among the prominent families in North City.
Tang Yu had impulsively come to check if anyone was misusing his venue for unsavory activities, yet he unexpectedly encountered Fu Jin’s niece.
Plus, she looked like a little fairy.
At that moment, a waiter placed a glass of orange juice in front of Jiang You, and Tang Yu said, “Here, drink this.”
He didn’t dare to neglect Fu Jin’s advice, and he started to guess the relationship between this young girl and Fu Jin.
Could it be that Fu Jin likes her?
But she seemed a bit too young!
Jiang You had heard many girls were drugged in bars, and at that moment, the orange juice before her felt like evidence.
She pushed the glass away with her small hand, declaring firmly, “I won’t drink it.”
Tang Yu chuckled, “I didn’t drug it.”
“Stay away from me!”
It seemed she wasn’t a little kitten but a little wildcat.
Tang Yu found it amusing as he observed her. Just as he was about to say he was friends with Fu Jin, his phone rang. Glancing at the caller ID, it was an important client from the business realm, and he couldn’t ignore it.
“Uncle, I’m going out to take a call; stay put.”
After giving the reminder and finding two security guards to keep an eye on her, he finally felt at ease.
Jiang You felt increasingly that the place was dangerous. She dialed Wen Nian to ask her to come home but, after multiple attempts and no response, remembered that Wen Nian’s phone was in her bag and was currently resting on the sofa.
Just a few minutes after Tang Yu left, another man approached. The security guards wanted to stop him but recognized him as the son of the Bai family, a notorious little rogue in North City, and didn’t dare offend him.
And he was quite aggressive, with an arrogant attitude.
“It’s just a woman; Young Master Tang won’t disregard my face. You all better be sensible!”
The two security guards exchanged nervous glances, loosening their grip. One tried to sneak away to find Tang Yu but was intercepted by Bai Hao’s entourage.
“Settle down!”
Bai Hao had been eyeing the beautiful girl for a while and hadn’t approached, wanting to wait until she was drunk to make his move. But now, Tang Yu had snatched that chance away, making him feel regretful.
Now, an opportunity was finally in hand.
To prevent Tang Yu from returning, Bai Hao wanted to seize the moment and take the beauty upstairs to a private room.
Bai Hao directly sat down on Jiang You’s right side, pressing his left arm against her right arm, making her skin crawl. He felt his heart racing.
“Little sister, are you drunk? I have a room upstairs. Shall I take you to rest?”
At this moment, Jiang You began to feel the effects of the alcohol stronger, feeling dizzy. With another strange man suddenly appearing next to her and closing in, she was annoyed and swatted at him.
“Get away from me!”
Bai Hao quickly grasped her tiny hand as it reached out, holding it softly in his palm like it had no bones at all.
“Don’t be so fierce, little sister! I’m just concerned about you!”
“Let go of me!”
Jiang You struggled to break free, but the man’s strength was too much. She was also drunk, and her feeble attempts felt like a child’s pouting, which only encouraged more lewd thoughts from the man next to her.
“Let go! Don’t touch me!”
Bai Hao was increasingly emboldened; unable to resist, he groped the girl’s thigh, his hand feeling the soft, fair skin that was as delicate as tofu.
Such a sweet and pure little beauty, resisting just a little, her eyes were alluringly seductive—it was truly exceptional.
Maybe she was still a virgin!
At this thought, Bai Hao couldn’t help but swallow hard, practically wanting to pounce on her.
“I’m not doing it on purpose; I saw you drinking so much and wanted to help you sober up. You look so uncomfortable. How about I take you upstairs to rest?”
Bai Hao grinned lecherously, wedging his legs between hers. His left arm wrapped around Jiang You’s shoulders while his right hand gripped her delicate chin, pulling her close to his lips.
Seeing the hand reaching towards her, Jiang You instinctively tried to stand and dodge, but her movement was restricted, leaving her unable to resist and only able to scream “Help!”
The faint cries for help were drowned out by the boisterous music. Surrounding onlookers saw but turned a blind eye.
Panicking and fearful, Jiang You was just about to come up with a countermeasure when miraculously, the grip on her shoulder and chin disappeared.
When she looked up again, Bai Hao’s right hand was caught by another hand, and a sharp “crack” echoed as he screamed in pain, his four fingers bent back at an odd angle.
Fu Jin had just released Bai Hao’s filthy hand, his deep-set black eyes blazing with two flames of fury, his voice as cold as ice.
“You dare to touch her?”
Jiang You stared blankly at the scene, momentarily unable to distinguish whether this was a drunken hallucination or reality.
Suddenly, she recalled the time when she was twelve, chasing after her father’s car. When she returned home, staring blankly at a table full of dishes, Fu Jin had similarly appeared before her unexpectedly.
“Uncle Fu!”
Jiang You dashed into the man’s arms, tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Uncle Fu, this man is bullying me! He’s so bad, so bad!”
How could there be such people?
Fu Jin’s body stiffened for a moment, his hands suspended in the air, unsure whether to drop them or avoid her.
Eventually, he gently touched the girl’s back with his right forearm, as if to soothe her, while his right hand remained hovering in the air.
“It’s okay, it’s okay. Uncle Fu is here.”
At the same time, Tang Yu re-entered from outside and, upon seeing the scene, punched Bai Hao squarely in the face.
“Beast!”
The bodyguards, having received Fu Jin’s signal, joined in, dragging Bai Hao off to the restroom for a thorough beating.
The Bai family members who tried to protect their young master found themselves tied up instead.
In the vast bar, music ceased, and guests were swiftly ejected.
Bai Hao’s cries echoed throughout the establishment.
Wen Nian arrived just then and was struck with shock at the sight of Fu Jin.
She had heard someone shouting, “They are fighting!” while dancing, but her mind was fully occupied with handsome men. Then she saw the security guards escorting guests out one by one, and upon hearing that Fu family members had arrived, she rushed over without regard for beauty…
Upon seeing Fu Jin, even the strongest drink wore off.
It seemed that fate was not on her side.
