Looking at the ring on Lu Youze’s finger, Gu Xuanze couldn’t help but smile.

Gu Xuanze was quick with his actions; so much had happened in just one afternoon, and Lu Youze seemed to be enjoying it all. Ou Yan suddenly felt like an idiot for mocking Gu Xuanze earlier. “Ge, where are you going?” The assistant looked at him pitifully, having not even had a chance to eat.

“To the bar.” Ou Yan replied blankly, suddenly feeling the urge to have a drink.

“But we have an agreement. We can’t just go out.” The assistant hurriedly protested, almost in tears. Didn’t Ge seem fine earlier this afternoon? How had his mood suddenly taken such a drastic turn?

Ou Yan glanced toward Lu Youze’s direction, then said, “Do you think I, the young master, am lacking money?”

With that, he left the restaurant.
