She’s Being Naughty! Time To Coax Her Chapter 6

Chapter 6: Another Tooth Mark Left Behind

The more he pushed, the tighter she clung, rubbing against him and deliberately feigning discomfort.

“Don’t move, I feel sick…”

She grabbed his shirt, covered her mouth, and made a dry retching sound.

“Ugh…!”

Jiang Cheng’s pupils constricted, his face frozen in shock. “!!!!!”

His complexion turned ashen, almost petrified.

The usually quick-witted Jiang Cheng was once again stunned into bewilderment by the person in his arms. A second later, he grabbed Ji Shuyi’s shoulders with distaste and impatience, forcefully shoving her away. “Ji Shuyi! Are you crazy? … Tsk… Damn it!”

Ignoring his outburst, Ji Shuyi retaliated by sinking her teeth into his chest, biting down hard.

Venting her anger!

In that instant, she felt his chest vibrate slightly, his breathing quicken, and even heard the cracking of his clenched fist. Alarmed, she quickly pulled out her phone and made a call to his older sister, seeking rescue.

There was no other way. This guy always acted fearless, but he held his father and sister in reverence.

Fortunately, his sister was her good friend.

Jiang Cheng eventually forgot how he managed to suppress his fury and safely escort her home. But as Ji Shuyi opened the car door to get out, he suddenly reached out, grabbing the nape of the neck of this little madwoman and forcefully pulling her close. The distance between them was intimate, yet his eyes were filled with menacing warning: “Don’t let me catch you again, or next time, no one will be able to save you.”

Ji Shuyi, who had just stepped one foot out of the car and was suddenly yanked back, met his cold, dangerous gaze and her heart skipped a beat. Her curled eyelashes trembled involuntarily. Then, she pushed him away forcefully, her cheeks puffed with indignation.

“I don’t want to see you again either!”

She made a face at him, sticking her tongue out: “Annoying pest! Humph!”

She scurried away.

Clearly, she was the one who always suffered whenever she ran into him.

Back in her room, without even bothering to take a shower, Ji Shuyi first explained the day’s events in detail to Lu Zhixia. Finally, she added objectively:

“Even though I particularly dislike that guy, if you like him, go for it. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

She didn’t like Jiang Cheng because he always bullied her, but she wouldn’t let her own feelings prevent a friend from pursuing someone they liked.

After hearing everything, Lu Zhixia just smiled nonchalantly and said, “Forget it, I don’t think I have a chance. He didn’t even look at me back then. This young lady has no interest in being a humble person in love.”

Meanwhile, Jiang Cheng returned home at lightning speed, disgustedly ripping off the black T-shirt he was wearing and throwing it straight into the trash. He even felt like his whole body was sour and stinky. Especially when he lowered his head and saw the scattered, dried bloodstains of teeth marks on his chest, his eyes darkened ominously: “That girl is definitely part dog!”

The day before the start of the semester, Ji Shuyi found out that Jiang Cheng was actually at the same university as her.

And in the Law Department, no less! How outrageous!

That guy didn’t seem at all like someone influenced by legal knowledge; he was completely the antithesis of it.

And he was clearly three years older than her, yet only one year ahead. He must have had terrible grades as a kid and repeated a lot of grades.

“Cheng-ge, you’re still a sophomore this year?”

On freshman registration day, Chen Xingyi looked at Jiang Cheng, who had just come off the soccer field and was tilting his head back to drink water, and nearly burst out laughing. “Repeating a year in college? That’s the first time I’ve seen that! Hahaha… Could it be you were deliberately waiting for me?”

He suddenly and inexplicably felt like his own status had been elevated.

Jiang Cheng accurately tossed the empty water bottle into the roadside trash can, his expression lazy as he lowered his eyelids and glanced at the idiot beside him who was laughing like a fool. He spoke coldly, “Yeah, I was afraid your short legs wouldn’t be able to keep up.”

It wasn’t that he had repeated a year because of bad grades. It was just that due to family matters last year, he had fallen too far behind in his courses and had voluntarily chosen to retake them.

But Chen Xingyi, feeling unconvinced by what he heard, immediately lifted his shirt hem, fully revealing his long legs, and said proudly, “Who the hell has short legs?”

Jiang Cheng looked at the idiot beside him who was trying hard to flaunt his long legs, raised his eyebrows with distaste, a silent display of contempt.

Chen Xingyi, feeling self-conscious under Jiang Cheng’s silent contempt, lowered his shirt hem sheepishly and mumbled, “Okay, fine, they’re about one centimeter shorter than yours.”

Upon hearing this sentence, Jiang Cheng’s expressionless face suddenly looked at Chen Xingyi with a meaningful smile, as if he had thought of something else.

Chen Xingyi was stunned for a moment by the strange smile. After realizing what it implied, he immediately explained, “Damn it! I was talking about height!”

Jiang Cheng replied perfunctorily with one word: “Oh.”

Chen Xingyi: “……”.

Damn it, why did he have to blurt out “one centimeter shorter”!

Under the scorching sun, the two walked on the main road of the campus.

Jiang Cheng was wearing a black and white soccer uniform, with a soccer ball tucked under his arm and against his waist. Chen Xingyi was wearing a simple white T-shirt and gray sweatpants. They attracted a lot of attention along the way, but most people just stole a glance and then lowered their heads to pass by.

Everyone at Jingda University knew that the Law Department had a handsome guy whose personality was completely the opposite of law. He didn’t possess a shred of the composure, restraint, or even scholarly elegance commonly found in Law students. Instead, he was devilish, arrogant, and aloof, making people wary and afraid to approach, yet his face made people couldn’t help but pay more attention.

Jiang Cheng had a distinctly mixed-race look, with striking and well-defined features, deep gray irises, and deeply set double eyelids. Tall and long-legged, he exuded an aura of cold arrogance that kept people at a distance. Especially the glimpse of dark tattoo peeking out from his neck made people even more hesitant to approach him casually.

The girls felt closest to Jiang Cheng when they were cheering and shouting for him on the soccer field, as if they were a collective group at that moment.

“Do you guys know about Jiang Cheng, the senior in the Law Department at our school?”

Ji Shuyi, who had just received her military training uniform, overheard her classmates discussing:

“Aiya, I know about him! I really want to see him in person. I heard he’s a super hot guy with a mixed-race look.”

“I also saw a lot of people talking about it on the school forum, and I even heard my senior from high school say that he’s super handsome but also very aloof, and seems hard to get close to.”

“Right? That’s why there’s a legend that Jiang Cheng is the only campus heartthrob at Jingda who has never received a love letter, because no one dares to get close enough to hand one over. It’s not like the school hasn’t had this type of cool, handsome guy before, but none of them have his kind of aura…”

The girl speaking gradually lowered her voice, adding quietly, “There’s a rumor that he’s the young master of a hei’bang [Triad], so his temperament is innate.”

“Whoa! That’s so intense! Even though I’m past my zhong’erbing [chuunibyou] phase, I have to admit I still really like this kind of thing… Haha, I wonder if I’ll see him today.”

“There are also those who describe him like an ancient vampire count from Western legends, because he’s tall, looks very European, and has a cool, pale complexion, and always appears and disappears mysteriously…”

Listening to everyone’s anticipation and even praise for a certain someone, Ji Shuyi frowned in disagreement. With a hint of disdain, she began to tear down his image:

“Jiang Cheng? Oh, I know him. He’s actually very average-looking, and his temper is pretty much like the rumors say – stubborn, inflexible, and without any manners, not manly at all. He’s such a petty guy. He’s simply the most annoying person I’ve ever met in my eighteen years of li…”

She was speaking passionately when suddenly the front of her vision dimmed, and a shadow fell from overhead. Someone appeared in front of her, completely blocking her path. She looked up in a daze and found herself face-to-face with a pair of extremely familiar, sharp, and deep eyes.

Caught red-handed, Ji Shuyi looked up at Jiang Cheng, who had seemingly sprung out of nowhere, and swallowed hard in sudden shock.

In the sunlight, the tall Jiang Cheng stood with his arms crossed, completely enveloping Ji Shuyi in his shadow. He lowered his gaze to look at the person who was slandering him, and uttered two clear words in a crisp voice: “Continue.”

The look in his eyes made Ji Shuyi’s heart skip a beat. Her curled eyelashes trembled involuntarily. At this moment, the girls who had been discussing with her were all staring at the suddenly appeared boy, so amazed by his stunning good looks that some of their faces had turned red all the way to their ears.

One of them recognized him and suddenly shouted excitedly, “Ahhh, Jiang Cheng! The real Jiang Cheng!”

As soon as she finished speaking, Jiang Cheng swept a glance over, as if annoyed by the noise, scaring the girl into immediately shutting her mouth and quietly hiding behind Ji Shuyi.

Suddenly being treated as a refuge, Ji Shuyi immediately regained her composure, raised her chin, met Jiang Cheng’s sharp gaze without blinking, and continued the words she hadn’t finished:

“He’s simply the most annoying person I’ve met in my eighteen years of life!”
