Yuan Bao silently stepped back to the side as he watched Su Yu prepare to take action. The young master had emerged from such a place, and his strength could no longer be simply compared to what it was in the past.
Qiming sneered as he looked at Su Yu. “Come with me obediently, or you will regret it for the rest of your life. Such a lovely child, it would be heartbreaking if something were to happen to you, don’t you think?”
Su Yu calmly looked at Qiming. “Are you threatening me?”
“I’m not threatening you, just stating a fact.”
Yuan Bao looked at Qiming with some surprise. Qiming was quite formidable. Didn’t he realize that the young master was already angry? To provoke the young master at this point, this person was truly bold. He better not meet a miserable end later.
“Xiao Yu, you should know that you are not my match.”
Yuan Bao looked at Qiming with a strange expression. Where did he get the idea that the young master couldn’t defeat him?
Su Yu chuckled softly and looked at Qiming mockingly. “Is that so?”
As the words fell, Su Yu had already reached Qiming and, to Qiming’s disbelief, sent him flying with a punch.
With a loud thud, Qiming crashed heavily to the ground.
This blow left Qiming dazed. He looked at Su Yu in disbelief. “How is this possible?”
“You really haven’t made any progress at all. After all these years, your strength remains the same,” Su Yu walked step by step to where Qiming was, looking down at him with disdain.
The contempt in Su Yu’s eyes made Qiming extremely frustrated, even angry.
“Su Yu, you’re asking for trouble.”
Su Yu smiled and taunted Qiming, “Oh? Is that so? Let’s wait and see.”
As Qiming’s palm came down, he thought he could strike Su Yu, but it turned out to be just an afterimage, and he couldn’t keep up with Su Yu’s speed.
The more he fought, the more horrified he became. Qiming couldn’t believe what he was seeing. “What have you been doing these past few years?”
“Didn’t you monitor me? It’s a pity you missed out on such an exciting show,” Su Yu’s voice seemed to come from all directions, leaving Qiming unable to discern his exact location, only able to stop and look around.
The more Yuan Bao watched, the more surprised and delighted he became.
The young master had become even more formidable.
“Qiming, you really disappoint me,” Su Yu’s voice sounded behind Qiming. As Qiming turned around, he felt a sharp pain in his body, followed by a piercing agony.
“Su Yu, stop it. I’ll get angry if you continue,” Qiming said angrily, clutching his chest.
“What does it matter to me if you’re angry?” Su Yu said indifferently.
Qiming looked at Su Yu. Although he was unwilling to believe it, he knew that Su Yu truly cared about him.
Su Yu, who knew everything, only sought revenge, and their past feelings had vanished in a single night.
“Su Yu, we would be the best partners if we worked together. Why won’t you listen to me? What did Xuan Feiran give you to make you help him like this?” The thought of Su Yu helping Xuan Feiran made Qiming extremely jealous. Why wasn’t he the one receiving Su Yu’s help?
Su Yu looked coldly at Qiming. “You don’t deserve to know.”
Qiming called his own secret guards. “Take Su Yu away at all costs. Kill the rest.”
Su Yu looked around at the dozens of secret guards and sneered. “Do you think you’re the only one with secret guards?”
“Except for Qiming, life or death doesn’t matter.”
Qiming deserved to die, but not in Xuan Empire. His death here would bring trouble to Xuan empire.
When they faced Qiming’s secret guards, Qiming thought he had the upper hand and was sure he could take Su Yu away this time. But he never expected that the people around Su Yu were so formidable, each one no less skilled than Yuan Bao.
How was this possible?
When did Su Yu gather so many skilled individuals around him?
“It’s not a good time to be lost in thought,” Su Yu dodged Qiming’s attack, landing a heavy blow on Qiming’s back. Qiming staggered and almost fell to the ground.
Su Yu kicked him away, watching Qiming, severely injured and coughing up blood. Su Yu remained calm, not showing any emotional fluctuations.
A few secret guards protected Qiming. “Your Highness, let’s go.”
Watching Qiming and Qi Lu being taken away by the secret guards, Su Yu stood in place and smiled faintly.
“Young master, aren’t you going to pursue them?” Yuan Bao asked.
Su Yu shook his head with a smile. “No need to pursue. If I remember correctly, Qiming’s poison is about to take effect.”
There should have been some time left, but Qiming, not knowing any better, used his internal energy.
Yuan Bao looked puzzled as Wan Gu, with a grim expression, walked in.
“What’s wrong?”
“He let that brat escape,” Wan Gu said irritably.
“Is his poison about to take effect? He used his internal energy today,” Yuan Bao asked Wan Gu, looking at him.
Wan Gu suddenly became alert, and his gaze shifted to Su Yu, as if to confirm what Yuan Bao had said.
Su Yu nodded gently. After confirming, Wan Gu suppressed his dissatisfaction and said with a smile, “If he hadn’t used his internal energy, there would have been more than ten days left. But since he did, it will happen in the next two days.”
“Truly seeking death. He knew he was poisoned and still dared to use his internal energy. Utterly reckless,” Su Yu said, looking at Wan Gu with a smile.
“How did you encounter them?”
“Qiming’s men went to Madam’s house, but…” Wan Gu’s expression turned strange as he recalled the appearance of those few individuals.
“But what?” Su Yu asked casually.
“Madam’s house also has people protecting her, and those individuals exuded a strong bloody and murderous aura. They seemed like people who had crawled out of a pile of corpses. They didn’t gain anything and ended up in a pitiful state,” Wan Gu said.
And Yu Qingfeng is angry.
“Master, just a reminder, your father-in-law is angry,” Wan Gu couldn’t help but speak up.
“Hmm? Why is father angry?” Su Yu looked at Wan Gu in surprise and asked.
“He found out about these people trying to threaten you by capturing the young lady and the young master. After hearing about Qiming from the lady, he got angry knowing that he intended to harm you,” it was quite frightening to see a gentle person suddenly become angry.
It felt even scarier than when the young master was angry.
“I feel like he’s up to something, and he’s really scary when he’s angry,” Wan Gu muttered, looking visibly shaken.
“Father-in-law is Yu Qingfeng, so his anger is not to be taken lightly,” Su Yu shook his head.
“I’ll go take a look. As for Qiming, I’ll wait for his return,” Su Yu said meaningfully.
“Spread the word that I have met Xing Qian and have a good relationship with him,” Su Yu said playfully.
After hearing this news, what will Qiming do? I can’t help but feel extremely excited.
