Chapter 14: Those Who Harm Yin Hanyu Deserve to Die

Lin Qingyou arrived at Yin Corporation. Just as she got out of the car, preparing to confront Gu Huai, she saw Yin Hanyu being attacked.

Yin Hanyu was being beaten!

Yin Hanyu was being beaten!!

Yin Hanyu was being beaten!!!

And it wasn’t just a single person—he was being surrounded and assaulted by a group.

Each of them wielded laser pointers, pepper spray, and self-defense sprays.

Even worse, they were throwing rotten eggs, water bottles, soda cans, and some were even hurling stones at him.

Like a crazed mob, they attacked him indiscriminately, as if they had completely lost their senses.

“Yin Hanyu—!” Lin Qingyou’s eyes widened in shock, rage boiling within her.

Without hesitation, she charged toward Yin Hanyu like a fired cannonball.

At that moment, a rock and a soda can came hurtling from above.

They were about to hit Lin Qingyou when—

Yin Hanyu reacted swiftly, grabbing her and pulling her into his warm, broad embrace.

“Qingyou, be careful…”

By the time Lin Qingyou realized what had happened, she was already wrapped in his arms. Because of this, she narrowly avoided the flying rock.

However, Yin Hanyu wasn’t as fortunate.

The rock and soda can struck him directly.

A deep wound immediately opened on the back of his head, blood trickling down.

“Yin Hanyu—!”

Lin Qingyou’s hands trembled as she saw the blood, her heart aching with worry.

“Yin Hanyu, are you okay? You’re bleeding! Let me take you to the hospital—”

“I’m fine. Don’t worry about me.”

Yin Hanyu removed his coat and draped it over Lin Qingyou’s shoulders. His voice carried a trace of anger. “Why did you come here? Are you an idiot? Do you not realize the danger? And yet you rushed in like that…”

He couldn’t even imagine what would have happened if that rock had hit her instead…

Before he could finish speaking, Lin Qingyou’s gaze turned cold as she fixated on the man who had thrown the stone.

He was a rotund, towering figure, looking like a giant.

Yet, under her murderous glare, he instinctively took several steps back.

The men standing beside him were holding more than just simple pepper spray and laser pointers.

They were gripping black wooden clubs.

It was clear they weren’t just crazed fans.

They had come to kill Yin Hanyu.

“You threw a rock at my husband?”

Although it sounded like a question, her tone was filled with certainty.

Without hesitation, Lin Qingyou lunged forward and delivered a fierce kick, sending the large man flying several meters.

He howled in pain, barely managing to get up—only to be knocked down again in the next instant.

Lin Qingyou grabbed a wooden club from one of the bystanders and began mercilessly striking his spine.

“Aghhh! Stop! Stop! It hurts—!” The man screamed, looking toward his companions. “What are you all waiting for? Help me!”

His companions hesitated, then raised their clubs and charged at Lin Qingyou.

Yin Hanyu stepped forward to shield her, his gaze darkening as he prepared to fight.

But in the next second, Lin Qingyou shoved him toward Xu Wen.

“Xu Wen, you failed in your duty today. You didn’t protect your master properly.”

Xu Wen lowered his head, overcome with guilt.

On the surface, he was Yin Hanyu’s special assistant.

In reality, he had been handpicked from the best elite bodyguards to protect him.

And yet, today…

“Now, I’m giving you a chance to redeem yourself,” Lin Qingyou said coldly. “Take him away first.”

Xu Wen glanced at Yin Hanyu, about to protest, but when he saw the look in his eyes, he swallowed his words.

He took a deep breath. Miss Qingyou, you’re really putting me in a difficult position.

There was no way the president would leave her here alone at a time like this.

At that moment, one of the thugs swung a club toward Lin Qingyou, shouting, “Die, you bitch—!”

But before he could land the hit, Lin Qingyou spun and delivered a lightning-fast side kick, sending him flying.

Her movements were so swift and fierce that the others hesitated, unsure whether to attack.

Lin Qingyou, however, had run out of patience.

The club in her hands became a weapon of precision, moving as if it were an extension of herself.

With ruthless efficiency, she took down her opponents, striking them so hard that they lay sprawled on the ground, groaning in agony.

She stepped on one of their faces, pressing the club against his cheek. “Who sent you?”

The man shook his head desperately.

“You won’t talk?” Lin Qingyou smirked, her stunning face radiating lethal beauty—like a rose with thorns.

Without hesitation, she raised the club and shattered the man’s leg.

“Aghhhhh! My leg—my leg—!” His blood-curdling screams echoed through the area.

Lin Qingyou ignored him, twirling the club in her hands as she walked toward the next man. “Your turn.”

“I—I don’t know—I swear I don’t know!”

“Is that so?”

Lin Qingyou’s smirk deepened as her gaze lowered to that part of his body.

“You’ll remember soon enough.”

“AAAAAGGGHHH!!!” The man let out a scream so piercing that even the bystanders felt a chill run down their spines.

Xu Wen glanced at Yin Hanyu. President, your little sweetheart is truly terrifying.

Sensing the concern and subtle amusement in Xu Wen’s gaze, Yin Hanyu shot him a glare.

Xu Wen immediately pressed his lips together. I was only worried about those poor guys…

Lin Qingyou turned to the third man, who was now trembling and clutching his groin protectively.

This time, before she even spoke—

He immediately pointed at the fat man she had first attacked.

“It—it was him! He ordered us to do it!”

“We’re just jobless street thugs. He hired us, told us to blend in with the fan crowd and use the chaos as an opportunity to kill Yin Hanyu.”

“He said that if we killed Yin Hanyu, he would give us shops and commercial buildings.”

The crowd gasped in shock.

Even Gu Huai’s fan group realized they had been used.

They had only intended to protest and demand an explanation—but somehow, everything spiraled out of control.

“Use the chaos to kill Yin Hanyu?” Lin Qingyou repeated the words slowly.

With each syllable, she gripped the club tighter.

The fat man, seeing her approaching like a demon from hell, trembled in fear.

Dragging his injured body, he tried to back away.

But before he could escape—

Lin Qingyou swung the club down with full force.

A sickening crack echoed as his bones shattered.

“Please—please don’t kill me—!” he begged, his body shaking uncontrollably.

“You tried to kill Yin Hanyu?”

“Who sent you?”

He couldn’t say. If he spoke, he would die.

“You won’t talk?”

He frantically shook his head.

“Fine… not talking is also an option.”

Lin Qingyou suddenly leaned in close, her breath chilling against his skin.

“Then—just die.”

She wrapped her slender fingers around his throat, her knuckles white with force.

Her eyes burned with fury, her voice cold and merciless.

“Who gave you the right to harm him?”

“How dare you?”

“How dare you?”

Her irises turned blood-red with rage.

Images of Yin Hanyu, bleeding and protecting her, flashed through her mind—again and again.

Especially from her past life—when he shielded her, coughing up blood. That haunting memory never left her.

And now, once again, Yin Hanyu was bleeding because of her.

She could no longer control herself.

They deserved to die.

They all deserved to die.

Anyone who harmed Yin Hanyu deserved to die.
