Gu Yanqi subconsciously frowned upon hearing the suggestion to leave. What did it mean?
Wang Jinhe wondered why he was upset. His family had made mistakes, but this was only their first meeting.
“I have never offended the Princess, she…” Gu Yanqi tried to explain to Su Yu.
However, Su Yu didn’t give him a chance to explain. “Your family’s actions have been enough to make Xiao He dislike all of you from the Gu family.”
“Is this her decision, or yours, Your Highness?” Gu Yanqi asked straightforwardly.
This statement angered Su Yu. He looked at Gu Yanqi coldly. “Do you think I’m trying to sow discord between you? Are you, a stranger, even qualified?”
At this point, if Gu Yanqi didn’t realize that he had misspoken, then he would be foolish.
“Your Highness, that’s not what I meant. I just feel that I haven’t done anything to hurt her, and I have a sense of familiarity with her. We…” Gu Yanqi hurriedly tried to explain.

“Why does she want your blood?” Gu Yanqi asked hoarsely.
“Who knows? You shouldn’t be asking me this question. You should ask your sister. And I’m not responsible for providing you with answers,” Wang Jinhe said, not wanting to continue the conversation with him and just wanting him to leave.
Seeing him made her think of that couple, and their ugly faces kept appearing in her mind. It made her feel sick.
“I just want to understand,” Gu Yanqi said awkwardly.
He had a strong liking for Wang Jinhe, and he didn’t want them to become enemies in the end.
“Then go back and ask your parents and your sister. Don’t come to me with this question. You can leave,” Wang Jinhe pointed to the door, effectively dismissing him.
Gu Yanqi looked at Wang Jinhe, wanting to say something, but in the end, he didn’t say anything.
“I don’t want to become your enemy,” Gu Yanqi said after a long silence.
His words made Wang Jinhe laugh mockingly. “Gu Yanqi, when your parents helped Gu Xiruo come after me, we were destined to be enemies.”
“I…” Gu Yanqi wanted to say that it wasn’t his fault, but they were his family. His biological parents. Would anyone believe that it wasn’t his fault?
“You can leave. There’s no need for you to bring any gifts to my house,” Wang Jinhe said coldly. “And there’s no need for us to do business together. We will never be able to cooperate.”
Wang Jinhe’s words shattered all of Gu Yanqi’s hopes.
Gu Yanqi looked at Wang Jinhe, feeling uncomfortable with her prickly demeanor.
“After I understand everything, I will come back,” Gu Yanqi said, feeling somewhat disheveled as he left.
Wang Jinhe watched Gu Yanqi leave without saying a word.
Su Yu pulled her to sit beside him and asked, “What are you thinking?”
“Nothing, I just don’t really like Gu Yanqi. He tends to be quite presumptuous,” Wang Jinhe replied.
“I just feel that you seem familiar to him, and I want to figure it out,” Su Yu explained simply.
Wang Jinhe laughed silently, her eyes filled with sarcasm. What good would it do to figure it out?
“Su Yu, do you think Gu Yanqi can figure things out?” It wasn’t that she didn’t believe in Gu Yanqi, but his personality was destined to dictate everything.
Those were his parents, and his talented sister whom he had cherished for so many years. Even if he found out, what could he do?
“Do you want him to know?” Su Yu didn’t answer Wang Jinhe’s question, but instead asked in return.
Wang Jinhe looked at Su Yu in surprise, seemingly puzzled by the question.
“That’s not important.” The reason she wanted Gu Yanqi to know was always to cause trouble for Gu Xiruo. Whether Gu Yanqi knew about these things or not was irrelevant to her.
“Since it’s not important, whether he can figure it out or not has nothing to do with us, right?” Su Yu looked at Wang Jinhe with a playful glint in his eyes.
Although Xiao He claimed it wasn’t important, hadn’t she noticed that she was paying too much attention to Gu Yanqi?
Wang Jinhe looked at Su Yu, and after a while, she spoke, “You’re right.”

After spending time with Gu Yanqi, he found him to be an interesting person. He was now looking forward to seeing how Gu Yanqi would react upon learning about the switch of identities between Gu Xiruo and Xiao He. He also wanted to see if the Gu family was rotten to the core.
“Su Yu, what do you think Gu Yanqi will choose?” Wang Jinhe, though uninterested, couldn’t help but ask.
Su Yu chuckled softly. “Xiao He, you’re paying too much attention to this matter.”
“I’m doing this to cause trouble for Gu Xiruo,” Wang Jinhe said, frowning in dissatisfaction.
Su Yu raised an eyebrow, looking at Wang Jinhe with a teasing glint in his eyes. “Really?”
Wang Jinhe felt a bit embarrassed and annoyed under Su Yu’s gaze. “What else do you think it is?”
