Chapter 26 Don’t Move!

After leaving the room, Lu Yunting went straight to the gym and ran for an hour.

Only after he finished showering did he remember that Liu 嬸 had said the gym was under renovation and the equipment had been moved to the guest room.

He had just looked inside and there was no sign of any renovation.

Curious, he went to the guest room, turned on the light, and saw that everything was in place, just like before.

He instantly understood.

It turned out they had all lied to Ouyang Shasha.

Just to prevent her from staying there.

Lu Yunting raised an eyebrow, a little unhappy, but only a little.

He didn’t care whether Ouyang Shasha stayed there or not, he just didn’t like them lying to her.

As he closed the door to the guest room, Jiang Jinyun came back from outside.

Seeing that he already knew the truth, Jiang Jinyun said casually,

“I don’t like Ouyang Shasha, don’t let her come again.”

Lu Yunting didn’t say anything, but asked about something else,

“How is your second brother’s wife?”

“She ate some spicy crab at night, it irritated her stomach, and she had a lot of fetal movement. She’s better now.”

Jiang Jinyun finished in a few words, then remembered to look at the clock and asked suspiciously,

“Why are you still here so late? Why don’t you go back to your room?”

Lu Yunting naturally couldn’t say he was avoiding a fight with Su Yiren and had come downstairs, so he just vaguely replied,

“Oh, I came down to get some water.”

He really felt a bit thirsty, so he went to the dining room and poured himself a glass of water, slowly sipping it.

Since the guest room was habitable, he thought he would stay there for the night after Jiang Jinyun went back to her room, avoiding another argument with Su Yiren.

But Jiang Jinyun wouldn’t give him that chance. Seeing him finish his water, she immediately urged,

“Go back to your room.”

“I’m not sleepy.”

“I didn’t tell you to sleep.”

Jiang Jinyun’s words were straightforward, but Lu Yunting felt a little uncomfortable.

Thinking back to the scene he had just witnessed next door, Jiang Jinyun sighed involuntarily and sat down at the dining table, whispering,

“Now, the only one in the whole family is the little baby in your sister-in-law’s belly. Your grandfather is eagerly waiting to hold his great-grandson!”

Seeing that Lu Yunting was unmoved, she continued,

“Although the company is now under your management, your shares have always been few. The shares in your grandfather’s hands will determine who will become the true heir of Lu family Group.”

“If your elder brother hadn’t passed away early, and your second brother was useless, how could your grandfather have entrusted the company to your father? Now that you’ve taken over the company, your second brother’s family has been eyeing it, waiting for this child to be born and become the eldest grandson of the Lu family!”

Lu Yunting retorted,

“Can a newborn baby snatch the whole group?”

Jiang Jinyun saw his stubbornness and became even more helpless,

“He can’t snatch the position of CEO now, but your grandfather is getting old. If he happily gives his shares to this little baby, your second brother’s family will be the biggest shareholder of the company.”

Lu Yunting didn’t care,

“What if I lose Lu family? With my ability, I can start my own business.”

“I know you’re capable, but are you just going to watch your father’s company, which he has been running for so many years, fall into the hands of your second brother’s family? In five years, they will have completely ruined Lu family.”

Lu Yunting pursed his lips and remained silent for a moment.

Knowing his second brother and his family, they really could ruin the entire Lu family.

After a long silence, he said in a deep voice,

“A child can’t make much of a difference.”

“But I want to hold a grandson too!” Jiang Jinyun pouted,

“You haven’t seen how concerned your second brother’s wife was just now, more concerned than if she were pregnant herself!”

Speaking of which, she lowered her voice,

“Didn’t you have a pre-marital checkup? There were no problems found then! How come there hasn’t been any movement for five years?”

Lu Yunting looked away and didn’t speak.

“Although you often go on business trips, you’re gone for months at a time. It’s not like you haven’t been together for long. But if both of you are fine, how can there be no movement after five years?”

“Mom…” Lu Yunting couldn’t bear to listen anymore,

“Don’t worry about this.”

“I don’t want to get involved in your business! Just give me a grandson and let me shut up!”

Jiang Jinyun saw that he was the same as before, always reacting this way when it came to having children. She became a little anxious,

“You wouldn’t still be thinking about being with Ouyang Shasha, would you? You’d better give up on that idea. I won’t let her marry into the Lu family.”

Lu Yunting didn’t want to listen anymore and stood up to leave.

“Where are you going?”

Lu Yunting turned back helplessly, “Back to the room, to have children.”

“Go quickly!”

Lu Yunting stood outside the bedroom door, his face full of annoyance. He took a deep breath before pushing the door open.

Su Yiren had just picked up her phone to call for help when Lu Yunting snatched it away.

She looked up with difficulty, only to see Lu Yunting’s face dark, his eyes filled with a dark, stormy sea.

“What urgent matter requires you to make a phone call in the middle of the night?”

“None of your business.” Su Yiren wanted to grab the phone, but Lu Yunting raised his arm, not giving it to her.

Su Yiren’s stomach ached so badly that she couldn’t get up, and she didn’t have the same spirit as before.

“Give me my phone.” She said.

Lu Yunting looked down at Su Yiren, who was lying on the bed. Seeing her pale lips and forehead covered in beads of sweat, he realized something was wrong.

“What’s wrong with you? Where do you feel uncomfortable?”

“None of your business,” Su Yiren stubbornly repeated,

“Give me my phone.”

Lu Yunting pursed his lips, the anger in his chest repeatedly hitting his chest.

He simply threw the phone on the small sofa opposite, and asked rudely,

“You’re sick, but you don’t say anything. Do you want to die?”

Su Yiren covered her stomach and lay on the bed, weakly mocking,

“Do you care if I die?”

“It’s at a time like this, and you’re still arguing with me.”

Lu Yunting reached out and pulled her arm, holding it tightly. The fingertips of his other hand quickly pressed against her pulse.

Su Yiren struggled a few times, but then heard the deep, calm male voice above her head,

“Don’t move!”

“It hurts! Don’t touch me!”

“I told you not to move, it’ll be over soon.”

“Lu Yunting, don’t touch me!” It was originally a warning voice, but because of her weakness, it sounded much softer.

At this moment, Jiang Jinyun was standing at the door, carefully listening to the sounds from inside.

The bedroom door had good sound insulation. Although she couldn’t hear clearly, she could vaguely hear a woman’s whimpering.

Jiang Jinyun finally breathed a sigh of relief and quickly left, her mood light.

It seemed her persuasion had worked!

In the room, after Lu Yunting checked her pulse, he walked to the wardrobe and opened the bottom drawer.

Su Yiren watched him dazedly as he took out a black bag and slowly unfolded it in front of her, revealing a row of long and short silver needles!

She was startled and instinctively shrank back into the quilt, her face turning even paler, and she trembled,

“What are you doing!”
