Chapter 33: Don’t Bother Me Again

Time seemed to stand still.

Lu Yunting looked at the woman sprawled on top of him, his gaze flickering slightly.

Her soft body pressed tightly against him, her delicate arms draped across his chest, her skin smooth and white.

Her slightly curled long hair brushed against his face, carrying a faint fragrance, tingling against his skin.

Just like the large patch of jasmine she cultivated on the balcony.

Her cool lips were inches away, causing his body to instantly tense up.

Her light breaths seemed to tease his neck, carrying a hint of the sweetness of red wine.

Lu Yunting hadn’t even had a sip of alcohol, yet he felt himself getting drunk.

His heart pounded wildly, his Adam’s apple bobbed up and down, and he stared blankly at Su Yiren. The familiar feeling from that morning returned.

It was as if all the blood in his body was being drawn to one place, roaring and surging, completely out of his control.

“Su Yiren…” He called out her name, only to discover his voice was a little hoarse.

Su Yiren opened her hazy eyes, realizing she was on top of Lu Yunting.

She raised her head, and in his deep pupils, she could clearly see her own reflection.

Drunkenness surged through her, and Su Yiren carefully examined her reflection in his eyes, then suddenly smiled.

“So pretty.”

How could she be so beautiful?

Seeing Su Yiren smiling at him, her smile bright, her lips red and teeth white, Lu Yunting’s ears felt a little hot.

“What are you talking about?” He said uncomfortably.

Who would compliment a grown man on his looks?

Su Yiren glared at him and retorted,

“I’m not talking nonsense! I’m naturally beautiful.”

Seeing that he was avoiding her gaze and couldn’t see her face, Su Yiren quickly straightened his head, forcing him to meet her eyes, their gazes intertwined.

Lu Yunting realized she must be truly drunk.

Otherwise, she wouldn’t be staring at him so closely and saying such nonsensical things.

“Lu…Yun… Ting…” Her fingers poked his forehead, calling out his name, one syllable at a time.

Lu Yunting frowned, “What?”

“Big…jerk.”

Lu Yunting: “…”

He was being scolded for no reason.

“Tell me, why did you block me?” Su Yiren continued poking him, her tone a question, but because she was drunk, it came out soft, like a whine.

“When did I block you?”

Lu Yunting asked back, but she didn’t answer.

After a moment of silence, she said fiercely,

“Who cares about sending you messages! Who cares about calling you! After the divorce is finalized, I’ll never talk to you again!”

Lu Yunting’s brow furrowed, suddenly feeling a little annoyed.

He pushed her aside, took a deep breath, suppressed his surging emotions, and asked:

“Weren’t you going to get something?”

“Yeah, get something…” Su Yiren sat on the sofa with her head down, humming softly,

“I came back to get something.” After saying that, she struggled to stand up.

Seeing her swaying, Lu Yunting quickly stretched out both hands to protect her on either side, frowning and saying:

“Can you be careful.”

But before he could finish, Su Yiren’s legs went weak, she swayed again, and sat back down on the sofa with a thud.

Lu Yunting looked at her in annoyance, just about to speak, when she grabbed his tie.

Su Yiren lightly frowned, slowly pulling on his tie, forcing him to bend down, getting closer and closer to her.

Lu Yunting wanted to struggle, but his limbs felt like they weren’t listening to him, he couldn’t move at all.

He looked at her rosy, soft lips, unconsciously swallowing, but Su Yiren suddenly laughed, her eyes curved like a fox’s, happy.

“What are you laughing at?” He asked in a hoarse voice.

Su Yiren narrowed her eyes, clearly drunk, but her tone was like a wild cat’s, fierce,

“Lu Yunting,you’re really clueless.”

Lu Yunting stared at her blankly.

Su Yiren proudly raised her eyebrows, muttering,

“A woman as excellent as me, and you ignore me. You must be blind, stupid, and have water in your brain!”

She was still scolding him even when she was drunk!

Lu Yunting angrily got up, the feelings that had just arisen were instantly shattered by reason, he was so angry he wanted to throw her out!

He angrily flung her hand away, pulling his tie back.

Su Yiren was thrown back onto the sofa by the force.

Perhaps the sofa was too comfortable, Su Yiren settled into a very comfortable position, and actually fell asleep.

Lu Yunting was so angry his temples twitched.

He paced back and forth, then went over to pull Su Yiren’s arm down,

“Get up!”

Su Yiren,half-awake, felt someone pulling her, she irritably slapped his hand away, muttering,

“Don’t bother~ Let me sleep a little longer~”

Lu Yunting was really about to be driven mad by her!

He simply left her on the sofa and went upstairs himself.

The commotion had left him sweating all over, his heart also feeling hot and restless.

He went to the bathroom in a state of agitation and took a shower, changed into a bathrobe, and came out. He walked to the second-floor railing and looked down, seeing Su Yiren still curled up on the sofa, sleeping soundly.

The air conditioning was on full blast, she was clutching her arms in her sleep, a small, pitiful figure.

“Don’t freeze to death!”

Lu Yunting ground his teeth in anger, turning and going to his study.

But he sat in his study for a while, feeling restless and unable to focus on anything.

After thinking for a moment, he went directly to the master bedroom, rummaged through the closet, finally pulled out a blanket, and went downstairs with a cold face, throwing it over Su Yiren.

Then, he turned the air conditioning up a few degrees, stood beside the sofa, and looked down at her.

His gaze swept over her sleeping face, completely devoid of the previous drunkenness, instead, she was soft and delicate, obedient, he took a deep breath, and the anger in his heart finally cooled down.

Late at night, Su Yiren let out a whimper and opened her eyes.

Even though the lights were dim, she recognized immediately that she was in Lu Yunting’s villa.

She was covered with a fluffy blanket, very warm.

Su Yiren tucked her hands and feet into the blanket, feeling something was amiss.

Didn’t she just wait outside the villa for the door to open? When did she get in?

No matter how hard she tried to recall, she couldn’t remember what happened, only vaguely remembering that Lu Yunting opened the door for her, and then she completely blanked out.

Su Yiren rubbed her forehead, the aftereffects of this red wine were quite strong.

Now that she was sober, she should get down to business.
