Chapter 96: Let Go of Me!
Lu Yunting saw Su Yiren’s disdainful expression, completely indifferent to his concessions. He felt a surge of anger.
However, due to the current situation, he swallowed his anger and patiently said:
“Don’t you think Xu Ying was truly torn between choices and only invited me after meeting you that day?”
Su Yiren pursed her lips, looked up at him, and said nothing.
“She just wants to use you to raise her own value. From beginning to end, she only wants to come to Lu Corporation.”
Su Yiren later realized this too. After dinner that day, Xu Ying hadn’t contacted her again, probably waiting for Lu Yunting to offer her a higher price.
After all, with an extra competitor, she could easily ask for a higher price from the other company.
“If so, then I wish her dream comes true.” Su Yiren said emotionlessly, turning to walk away.
Lu Yunting grabbed her wrist,
“Stop!”
Si Hong quickly stepped forward, directly restraining Lu Yunting’s arm, warning in a deep voice,
“Don’t touch her!”
A flash of anger surged in Lu Yunting’s eyes. He tightened his grip, seemingly challenging him.
But he forgot that his large hand was holding Su Yiren’s wrist. This force was clearly unbearable for her.
“Let go of me!” Su Yiren cried out in pain, raising her other hand to slap Lu Yunting’s face!
Lu Yunting didn’t expect her to suddenly attack. The slap landed squarely on his face, making him glare angrily:
“You actually hit me?”
“I told you to let go of me!” Su Yiren’s hand was numb with pain. She struggled frantically.
Lu Yunting saw her eyes reddening, her wrist under his palm slender, as if it could be broken with a little force.
Such a fragile body, yet with such a temper, truly surprised him.
He unconsciously loosened his grip, not sure why.
But Si Hong suddenly tightened his grip at that moment, almost crushing his bones!
Lu Yunting turned to look at him. Behind the gold-rimmed glasses, a pair of eyes like wild beasts lurking in the grass, fierce and bloodthirsty.
The two men silently wrestled, but it was Su Yiren who suffered. Seeing that Lu Yunting had no intention of letting go, she bit his arm without hesitation!
But Lu Yunting was using all his strength to wrestle with Si Hong. His arm muscles were hard as stone, making her teeth ache.
Su Yiren raised her foot and kicked him in frustration, her voice trembling with pain,
“Lu Yunting! Are you even a man! Let go of me! My wrist is going to break!”
Si Hong and Lu Yunting released their grip almost simultaneously.
Su Yiren immediately stepped back two steps, covering her aching wrist, and angrily cursed:
“You bastard! Cold-blooded snake! Violent bullfrog! You won’t get me to attend any anniversary celebrations with you again!”
Her eyes were red with pain, and she was speaking without thinking.
Si Hong looked at her wrist with concern, his voice soft,
“Go inside first.”
Su Yiren looked up and saw that his usually gentle and calm eyes were filled with anger, and his gaze was cold and terrifying.
Without knowing why, Su Yiren felt a little afraid, and said softly:
“Let’s go, don’t mind him.”
But Si Hong curled his lips, his voice gentle but firm,
“Go inside first, I’ll talk to him.”
His voice was gentle, but exceptionally firm, leaving no room for argument.
Su Yiren wanted to say something else, but she suddenly heard Lu Yunting sneer, his eyes full of provocation,
“Coincidentally, I want to talk to you too!”
“Shut up!” Su Yiren turned her head and glared at him.
Lu Yunting glared back, but he swallowed the words that were about to come out of his mouth.
Su Yiren wanted to persuade Si Hong to go back with her, but he stubbornly looked at her, clearly not giving her any room for negotiation.
She clenched her fist and could only return to the villa alone.
After watching her enter the door, Si Hong retracted his gaze, only to find that Lu Yunting was also staring at her back.
The gentleness in Si Hong’s eyes instantly disappeared, replaced by mockery and disdain,
“If you still have feelings for her, why get a divorce?”
Lu Yunting didn’t expect him to ask so directly. He was stunned for a moment before coldly laughing:
“You’re thinking too much. We haven’t divorced yet, so she should fulfill her responsibilities as a wife.”
“There aren’t so many ‘shoulds’ in life,” Si Hong’s brow furrowed slightly.
“If you say so, you should have taken better care of her all these years you’ve been married.”
Lu Yunting felt a fire burning wildly in his heart when he heard him speak to him in this tone, burning him with anxiety,
“How I treat her is our business, none of your concern. You’d better not meddle!”
Si Hong calmly took off his glasses and placed them on the flowerbed beside him, then curled his lips, a hint of coldness in his smile,
“What if I insist on meddling?”
Lu Yunting saw his actions and his eyes narrowed slightly,
“Then see if you have the ability!”
The two men looked at each other for two seconds, and almost simultaneously attacked!
Lu Yunting punched towards Si Hong’s face, but he easily dodged it. Si Hong grabbed his wrist, but he parried it with his other hand.
Si Hong turned his body, circled behind Lu Yunting, and stretched out his long arm, strangling his neck!
Lu Yunting quickly pressed down on his arm, turned around swiftly, raised his knee, and kicked Si Hong in the abdomen!
Both men clearly went all out, as if they wanted to vent all the anger they had been suppressing for so long.
In just a few minutes, the two men were locked in a fierce struggle.
Si Hong couldn’t believe that Lu Yunting’s skills were so good. He had underestimated him before, but compared to him, he was still far behind.
Lu Yunting was shocked, because he discovered that Si Hong’s moves were not ordinary fighting, but true killing moves!
Every move he made was aimed at taking a life, without any mercy.
If he hadn’t learned Sanda since he was a child, he would probably be spitting blood by now!
Lu Yunting became increasingly shocked and confused as he looked at the other man’s moves. What exactly did this man do?
Why was he lurking by Su Yiren’s side?
Unconsciously, the two men had been fighting for over ten minutes, and Lu Yunting’s movements were noticeably slower.
He was both angry and anxious. He didn’t pay attention, and Si Hong kicked him in the abdomen, sending him staggering back a few steps before he could stand firm.
Si Hong pounced forward, his fist aimed at his temple. Lu Yunting ducked to avoid it, grabbed Si Hong’s waist, and threw him hard.
Si Hong spun in mid-air, landing on his feet, and charged forward again!
He was like an enraged wolf, wanting to tear apart the prey in his grasp!
The two men continued to fight, exchanging punches and kicks, without any mercy.
Soon, both men were bruised and battered, but Si Hong was less injured than Lu Yunting.
Just as he found an opportunity to strangle Lu Yunting’s neck, he looked up and saw flashing lights on the other side of the road. At the same time, the sound of a police siren grew closer!
