Chapter 58: Sending a Letter

Xiao Miaomiao didn’t expect to run into Xiao Lin and Xiao Yuyan while waiting for Ah Huang to deliver a letter. Seeing them, she couldn’t help but feel a surge of annoyance.

Suddenly, Xiao Miaomiao stopped, turned back and looked at Xiao Lin, her eyes revealing coldness and determination.

“Xiao Lin, if you want to keep what you have, don’t provoke me again. Don’t forget, even though my mother asked my grandfather to spare your life, I can easily make you lose everything. So, please, take care of yourselves.” She said arrogantly.

Xiao Lin and Xiao Yuyan were shocked and helpless.

“You… you!” Xiao Lin stared at his daughter in disbelief, unable to believe that she dared to threaten him.

He trembled with anger, pointed at Xiao Miaomiao, and roared: “I’m your biological father!”

However, Xiao Miaomiao was not afraid of Xiao Lin’s anger. Her lips curled into a mocking smile, and she said softly: “Father? The father who wanted to kill me from the moment I was born?”

Xiao Lin’s face turned pale as he looked at her in shock, a wave of fear washing over him. He never thought that his past actions would be known to her so clearly.

“You… how did you know about this?” Xiao Lin’s voice trembled as if he saw a terrifying ghost standing before him.

Xiao Miaomiao sneered, a trace of contempt flashing in her eyes. She slowly approached Xiao Lin, lowered her voice and said: “Surprised? Because the nurse who stopped you from entering the delivery room was sent by my grandfather to protect me. They noticed your malicious intent towards me, so they acted decisively to stop you. Xiao Lin’s legs went weak, and he almost couldn’t stand. He looked at Xiao Miaomiao in terror, his lips trembling but unable to speak.

Xiao Yuyan looked at her father in disbelief, filled with shock and disappointment. She couldn’t accept that her father would have such a terrible idea, to kill Xiao Miaomiao and let her take her place as the Jiang family’s daughter.

If her father had succeeded, she could have lived a luxurious life, enjoying endless wealth and glory. But all of this was just an illusion, now turned to ashes.

Meanwhile, Xiao Miaomiao looked at the panicked Xiao Lin, a mocking smile on her face.

She said coldly: “You’re so anxious to find me now, you could even say you’re begging me, isn’t it because I sold my shares to Uncle Jiang? Now his shares are more than yours, the chairman, and you’re forced to step down, right?”

Xiao Miaomiao’s tone was firm and certain, as if she had seen through everything.
