Mountain Village Miracle Doctor – Chapter 15

Chapter 15

Li Linglong watched as the guy ahead of her pedaled his bike away in a panic, her face flushing red. She stomped her foot in frustration, still feeling the tingling warmth where she had been touched.

That bastard!

He actually dared! Next time I run into him, I won’t let him off so easily—hmph!

On the other side, Wang Tiezhu whistled happily as he rode his bicycle. A fool doesn’t take advantage when an opportunity presents itself. Besides, the woman practically asked for it—if he didn’t act, she’d probably look down on him.

If not now, then when?

About ten minutes later, Wang Tiezhu arrived at a mobile phone store. He parked his bike outside and decided to check out some phones—he already had one, but his younger sister was in high school and lived in the dorms. If something came up, she had no way of contacting anyone. A phone would make things a lot easier.

Entering the store, he walked up to a counter and started looking at different phone models. “Hey, miss, can you take this phone out for me to check?”

The female sales clerk behind the counter responded in a sarcastic tone, “This is Huawei’s latest model—it’s over 6,000 yuan. Are you sure you’re buying?” She spoke with blatant disdain and disbelief.

Wang Tiezhu looked up at her. She wasn’t bad-looking—on a scale of 100, she could barely hit an 80, especially with those “headlights” of hers swaying conspicuously. Even in broad daylight, they were still quite a spectacle.

But that condescending expression? Annoying as hell.

He replied flatly, “If I think the phone’s good, of course I’ll buy it. Just take it out and let me see.”

“Tch!”

The saleswoman sneered and said in a sharp tone, “Don’t blame me for speaking the truth. Judging by your outfit, you’re from the countryside, right? Your yearly income is probably around 20,000 to 30,000 yuan.

And yet, you’re here looking at a phone worth six or seven thousand? Does that even make sense?

All our phones here are brand-name models. You’re just here to touch them for fun, like taking away their ‘first time’—how do you expect others to buy them after that?

Why don’t you check out the old models over there? They’re just a few hundred yuan, which suits your status better. Hmph!”

Wang Tiezhu was usually easygoing, but being insulted like this made his blood boil. Is this woman on her period? Why’s her mouth so foul?

Since she was being rude, he wasn’t going to hold back either. Just as he was about to retort, the store’s entrance swung open, and a man and a woman walked in.

The man wore a neatly pressed suit, polished leather shoes, and had slicked-back hair, trying to exude the aura of a casino tycoon.

But his frame was too skinny, barely 1.65 meters tall. The suit hung loosely on him, making him look like a shrunken old man—a complete waste of the outfit.

Yet, his swagger was unaffected. He sported a flashy gold watch, a massive gold ring, and a thick gold chain around his neck. His right hand clutched a crocodile leather bag, bulging with who-knows-what—reeking of nouveau riche energy.

His left arm wasn’t idle either. He had a young woman in a black strapless mini dress, teetering on high heels, with thick makeup and seductive movements. She had eye-catching curves, front and back.

The moment she stepped in, many male customers turned their heads, clearly fantasizing about taking that black sports car for a high-speed test drive.

The pair strutted toward the counter where Wang Tiezhu was standing. The saleswoman’s expression changed instantly—her scornful face transformed into a bootlicking smile, as if flipping a page in a book. She called out in a sugary tone, reminiscent of ancient brothel courtesans.

“Oh my, Boss! Looking for a new phone? Come, come, take your pick. We have all the top foreign brands here—Apple, Samsung, all the latest models. Let me show you anything you like!”

The suited man grunted in acknowledgment and turned to the woman in his arms. “Go ahead, pick whatever you like. Your Brother Long isn’t short on cash.”

The strapless-dress woman cooed, “Thank you, Brother Long! I want this iPhone 12!”

“No problem!” The man confidently placed his bag on the counter and told the saleswoman, “Give me three of them. I need two more for my clients.”

“Oh! Absolutely!”

The saleswoman was practically glowing with excitement, her chest trembling with each breath. Her blouse buttons seemed ready to pop at any moment, as if a wild beast might escape.

Today’s my lucky day! If this deal goes through, she’d earn a fat commission. She was even more respectful than she would be to her own parents. “Boss, I’ll get them for you right away!”

She quickly retrieved three brand-new iPhones from the storage cabinet. The suited man asked, “Can I open them to check?”

“Of course, of course!”

The saleswoman was certain he would buy them, so she enthusiastically peeled off the plastic wrap.

The man and woman examined the phones. He asked, “Satisfied?”

“Mmm, I love it!” The woman purred, batting her eyes seductively.

“Then we’re taking them!”

“Thank you, Brother Long!” She tiptoed and planted a kiss on his cheek.

The surrounding men were burning with jealousy. Damn it, money really can do anything! This scrawny, shady-looking guy just scored a goddess.

The saleswoman, too, was feeling a mix of envy and resentment—not toward the man, but toward the strapless-dress woman. That little tramp got lucky, landing such a rich fool! What does she have that I don’t?

Hmph, I’ll find a way to get his number later. With my charm, she doesn’t stand a chance against me.

Still grinning, she asked, “Boss, do you like the phones?”

“They’re good!”

The suited man nodded, reaching for his bag. “How much…”

Just then, his phone rang.

“Ring, ring, ring…”

He answered smoothly, “Hello, President Liu? What a surprise!

Hahaha… Don’t worry, the shipment went out yesterday. What? Sorry, I couldn’t hear you clearly…”

Pretending to have poor reception, he walked toward the door, continuing the conversation naturally.

Then—

BAM!

Without warning, he suddenly darted sideways and bolted out the door at full speed.

The entire store froze.

Even Wang Tiezhu needed a moment to process what just happened.

It wasn’t until the saleswoman noticed that two brand-new iPhones were missing from the counter that she snapped out of it.

“AHHHHHHHH!!” she screamed in horror. “SOMEONE STOP HIM! HE STOLE THE PHONES!”

Her shriek jolted the entire store awake. She stumbled toward the entrance, but the scammer was already long gone.

From cloud nine to rock bottom in seconds, she howled in despair.

“You bastard! Give me back my phones! GIVE THEM BACK!”

A well-meaning customer pointed out, “Miss, don’t cry. Look, his bag and girlfriend are still here. Maybe he just had an emergency?”

The saleswoman’s tears stopped instantly.

Right! The woman’s still here!

She whirled around and glared at the strapless-dress woman, her face contorted with rage.

“Your man ran off—you pay for the phones, or I’ll fight you to the death!”
