Mountain Village Miracle Doctor – Chapter 26

Chapter 26

Wang Tiezhu glanced at the towering peaks in front of the woman’s chest and thought to himself, Forget the thanks—if only I could have a cup of fresh milk instead.

Out loud, he asked, “Ling-jie, who was that guy just now? Your boyfriend?”

Li Linglong shook her head. “I already told you, I don’t have a boyfriend. That guy was someone introduced by a matchmaker through my mom’s side of the family. Normally, I would never go on a blind date, but I couldn’t refuse my mom, so I went.

After meeting him, I didn’t feel anything, so I politely declined. But this guy just won’t give up! He sticks to me like glue—so annoying.

And judging by his disgusting attitude just now, it’s a good thing I didn’t get involved with him. Honestly, I should be thanking you. Who knows what he would’ve done otherwise?”

Wang Tiezhu nodded and said, “That Huang Qiang guy seems pretty shady. People like him always have some nasty tricks up their sleeves. Ling-jie, you should be careful. If he gives you any trouble, just call me—I’ll take care of him.”

“Mm!”

Li Linglong nodded, then looked at Wang Tiezhu with a meaningful gaze.

“What? Are you really thinking about being my boyfriend? My standards are pretty high, you know. Are you sure you can handle it?”

Wang Tiezhu chuckled and replied bluntly, “You won’t know unless you try, Ling-jie.”

“Pfft!”

Li Linglong’s face turned even redder. “Keep dreaming!”

By the time Wang Tiezhu left Li Linglong’s place, it was already past 7 p.m., and the sky had gone dark. His small bicycle was parked near the seedling market—not too far away—so he decided to walk over.

As he strolled down a tree-shaded sidewalk, he felt someone following him.

Sneaky.

There were quite a few pedestrians around, so he wondered if he was just being paranoid. But after testing it twice, he confirmed that the figure in a baseball cap behind him was indeed trailing him.

When he reached the entrance of a small alley, he hesitated for a moment before quickly slipping inside, hiding behind a corner. He listened closely.

Soon, hurried footsteps approached, getting closer and closer…

The moment the figure rounded the corner, Wang Tiezhu struck. He grabbed the stalker by the collar and slammed him against the wall, growling,

“Speak! Who sent you to follow me?!”

Upon seeing the face, he wasn’t surprised at all. As expected, it was Huang Qiang.

“So, it’s you. What, are you here for revenge?”

“Cough… cough…”

Huang Qiang, slammed against the wall, turned red as he struggled for air. “You… you bastard! Who’s following you?! Let go of me… ugh!”

Wang Tiezhu didn’t hold back. He threw a punch into Huang Qiang’s stomach before releasing him.

Huang Qiang collapsed on the ground, curling up like a shrimp. He gagged, looking like he was about to vomit.

Wang Tiezhu clapped his hands and sneered, “If I catch you again, I’ll kick you so hard you won’t be able to have kids.

Oh, and tell that woman behind you to fix her hair—it’s creepy as hell at night.”

With that, he turned and walked out of the alley.

Huang Qiang was stunned. What woman?

Ignoring his pain, he turned around to look.

Behind him, darkness loomed. There was nothing there.

A cold wind howled through the alley, producing a wailing sound, like a woman sobbing.

Huang Qiang shuddered violently.

“Ahhh!”

He scrambled to his feet and ran for his life, nearly wetting himself.

Wang Dachui rode his tricycle to the school gate and waited for nearly half an hour. When the bell rang, signaling the end of evening classes, a wave of students flooded out of the school.

He called his younger sister, and soon, Wang Ling came bouncing over.

“Brother, have you been waiting long?”

Wang Tiezhu handed her a big bag of fruits and snacks. “Here, take this. You can enjoy it back in your dorm.”

Then, he pulled out 500 yuan from his pocket and handed it to her.

“Keep this money. Buy whatever you want—don’t skimp on yourself. Study hard, get into a university, and make Mom, Dad, and your big brother proud.”

Wang Ling hesitated. “Brother, I have money, don’t worry. I’ll definitely get into college.

You should keep the money… for your future wife.”

Wang Tiezhu scolded with a laugh, “You’re thinking way too far ahead. I sold that wild boar this morning for 30,000 yuan. Your brother has money—just take it.” He shoved the cash into her hands.

Wang Ling’s bright eyes squinted into crescents. “Thank you, Brother!”

Wang Tiezhu ruffled her hair. “I’m your brother—don’t thank me for this!”

Then, he asked, “When does that Huang Beibei usually come out?”

Wang Ling said, “Brother, we can just wait here. She’ll be out soon.”

About twenty minutes later, most of the students had left, and finally, a tall figure emerged from the school.

Wang Ling immediately pointed. “Brother, there she is!”

Wang Tiezhu nodded, then saw Huang Beibei walk straight to a black Mercedes parked by the roadside. Without hesitation, she opened the back door and got in. The car slowly drove away.

Wang Tiezhu said, “Xiaoling, you go back to school. I’m going to follow them.”

“Okay, Brother, be careful.”

Wang Tiezhu ran to the roadside, flagged down a three-wheeler, and jumped in.

“Driver, follow that black Mercedes! Step on it!” He handed the driver a hundred-yuan bill.

The driver grabbed the cash in a flash. “Got it! Hold on tight!”

The engine roared to life, and the tricycle sped off.

Along the way, the tricycle sputtered noisily. The driver glanced at Wang Tiezhu and said, “Kid, that girl in the Mercedes—is she your girlfriend?”

“Huh?”

The driver smirked knowingly.

“Kid, let me give you some advice—just break up with her. No offense, but these girls aren’t the kind of women you want to marry. They’re for rich guys to enjoy. You’re just setting yourself up to be a fool.”

Wang Tiezhu raised an eyebrow. “You seem to know a lot about this, huh?”

The driver sighed. “I work near the school. Every night, luxury cars line up at the gate—Mercedes, BMWs, Range Rovers—all picking up these girls. Think about it. They leave at night and come back in the morning. What do you think they’re doing?”

After about twenty minutes, the Mercedes pulled up in front of a high-end entertainment club.

The parking lot was packed with luxury cars, and the club entrance was decorated extravagantly.

Two massive stone lion statues, five to six meters tall, flanked the grand doors, their fierce expressions exuding authority. Behind them stood towering Roman columns wrapped in golden foil, gleaming under the lights.

Two hostesses in revealing outfits stood at the entrance, their faces charming as they greeted guests with sweet voices:

“Welcome! Enjoy your night!”
