Chapter 6: Trouble, Thanks to Dog Zi, Still a Little Pure
“Dammit! Did you forget that I’m here too?!”
A middle-aged woman in the crowd muttered angrily, grabbing the ear of the man who had just spoken.
“Ouch!” The man felt a sharp pain in his ear and suddenly realized that he had come here with his wife to enjoy the commotion. His heart sank, and he quickly begged in a low voice, “Wife, spare me! I was wrong!”
But the woman wasn’t having it. She ruthlessly yanked his ear and dragged him down the hillside, cursing as she went:
“Later, when I take action, you’d better pay attention to how Shen Yingying handles it, and see if you can let me off the same way Xiao Xie let Shen Yingying off!”
The man, dragged along, stumbled and crawled, crying out, “Wife! I was wrong! I won’t talk out of turn again!”
Their little skirmish caused a brief stir in the crowd. After the excitement died down, everyone sighed in frustration over Xie Fangzhu’s lack of progress.
Xiao Xie was clearly sharp and decisive when working at the mine. He was a capable young man, so why couldn’t he do the same when it came to Shen Yingying?
Chapter 6: Trouble, Thanks to Dog Zi, Still a Little Pure
Everyone understood that when couples argue, if things are reconciled in bed, the argument would often end right there.
In the case of Xie Fangzhu and Shen Yingying today, forget about him taking any further action; they probably wouldn’t even manage to continue arguing.
And given that it had come to this point, the crowd also felt a bit embarrassed to keep listening, so they gradually dispersed.
In the end, only Liu Guizhen remained, a woman who had been humiliated by both Shen Yingying and Xie Fangzhu.
She hadn’t been able to beat Shen Yingying today, and after being embarrassed by Xie Fangzhu in front of everyone, she was fuming.
Originally, if Xie Fangzhu had been able to give Shen Yingying a good thrashing, she would have felt a little better.
But to her surprise, Xie Fangzhu had been completely outplayed by Shen Yingying, who defeated him with just a few words.
It was infuriating! She felt like she could just rush in and slap Shen Yingying across the face twice.
But, obviously, she couldn’t do that. Not only was the door locked from the inside, even if it weren’t, just the thought of Xie Fangzhu’s expression earlier made her fearful. She wasn’t brave enough to rush in.
However, Liu Guizhen didn’t give up. Shen Yingying’s words might fool that fool Xiao Xie, but Liu Guizhen didn’t buy into it.
With someone like Shen Yingying, there was no way she could be innocent.
One day, Liu Guizhen would catch her in the act and let everyone see what kind of promiscuous woman Shen Yingying truly was!
…
Some people are especially talented at certain things, just like Xie Fangzhu.
In the book, he was depicted as a completely indifferent madman with no desire for women, but after Shen Yingying and he had an intimate encounter today, it completely shattered her perception.
He was too good!
After several rounds, her waist ached, her back hurt, and her body felt like it was falling apart. She begged for mercy repeatedly, barely escaping his grasp, only to drift off to sleep in a daze.
When she woke up again, she had no idea what time it was.
The moment she opened her eyes, she saw a man leaning on his arm, staring at her.
He looked at her intently, his brow slightly furrowed, his eyes filled with inquiry and an unsettling gloom.
Shen Yingying was startled by the look in his eyes, thinking he was about to go crazy again. Her drowsy mind quickly scrambled to process, just about to react.
But then she saw the ominous look in his eyes suddenly disappear, and his other hand casually pulled the thin blanket up over her, lowering his voice to ask, “Are you awake?”
The man in front of her was handsome, his eyes bright, as if the dark aura just now had been her imagination.
For a moment, she truly doubted whether she had seen wrong.
But she quickly came to her senses.
In the book, Xie Fangzhu was the most skilled at playing roles—a ruthless, heartless, madman who was skilled at schemes, an old fox.
That dark look he had earlier couldn’t have been a hallucination. What was he plotting?
Though her heart was racing with fear, she kept her expression drowsy.
She nodded, a faint flush appearing on her pale face.
Then, she shyly moved closer to him, wrapping her arms around his lean waist.
Due to her actions, the thin blanket covering her slipped off, exposing a large portion of her skin.
Xie Fangzhu’s breathing hitched. His previously indifferent face immediately froze.
He hurriedly looked away, glancing at her from the corner of his eye as he pulled the blanket back up, covering only her head.
Shen Yingying noticed his little movements and realized that he was already dressed while she was under the thin blanket. She could feel the cool air, realizing she was completely naked beneath the blanket.
She guessed that after she had fallen asleep, Xie Fangzhu had been too embarrassed to face her, let alone dress her, so he had just covered her with a thin blanket.
At this thought, she raised her eyes to look at Xie Fangzhu.
Indeed, there was a visible blush on his handsome face.
Shen Yingying was once again stunned—she hadn’t expected Xie Fangzhu to be so pure in this regard.
However, this side of him was much more pleasing than his earlier gloomy demeanor.
Feeling a bit bolder, she had the urge to tease him.
She hugged his waist and slowly moved upwards, her two snow-white arms emerging from under the blanket, wrapping around his neck. Her voice was sweet and soft, “I’m in pain all over, you’re too rough… You don’t know how to be gentle…”
Her words were blunt, but there was no hint of anger, more like she was whining.
Feeling her cool arms, Xie Fangzhu panicked. He hurriedly grabbed her arms and tried to push them back under the blanket.
His face turned bright red as he grumbled, “I’ll be more careful next time… Hurry up and put your clothes on.”
Shen Yingying couldn’t help but laugh, her eyes curved into crescent moons, her face bright with a gleam that was like a spring of water sparkling with ripples.
“Okay,” she nodded and wrapped the blanket around herself as she sat up in bed.
Seeing this, Xie Fangzhu quickly straightened up and turned away, sitting with his back to her, not daring to look at her.
“My clothes?”
“To your left.”
She glanced to the side and saw her disheveled clothes neatly folded against the wall.
It was obvious that Xie Fangzhu had folded them, though she had no idea what kind of emotions he must have felt while doing so.
She picked up the top piece of cloth. In this era, bras weren’t in fashion, and most women used cotton vests or chest wraps instead.
The original owner had used the latter, typically binding her curves tightly with the chest wrap.
As a modern woman, Shen Yingying had never worn something like this, and it took her quite a while to figure it out.
Once she was dressed, she realized her once-remarkable curves had diminished, and the chest wrap was very tight and uncomfortable.
When she finished buttoning her shirt and slipped on her pants, she suddenly noticed the glaring red stain on the plaid bedsheet.
Shen Yingying sighed with relief. It seemed the original owner’s memories were correct—her body was still pure.
At this thought, Shen Yingying couldn’t help but feel a bit surprised.
Based on the author’s description in the book, Shen Yingying was portrayed as a promiscuous woman, frequently sneaking off into the woods with her former fiancé before he called off their engagement.
After marrying Xie Fangzhu, she continued to look for a better option, secretly climbing the social ladder behind his back.
A woman like this, most people would never think she could be pure.
But after inheriting the original owner’s memories, Shen Yingying realized that things weren’t entirely like that.
