Transmigrated into the Apocalypse: Hoarding Ten Billion Supplies and Clinging to the Villain’s Thigh Chapter 13

Chapter 13: Rebirth

End of the Month, City A

Inside the female dormitory of a certain university, a girl lying on her bed suddenly furrowed her brows tightly, her face contorted in pain. In just a few seconds, a layer of fine sweat beaded on her forehead.

It was as if she were experiencing an extremely terrifying nightmare, her body twisting uncomfortably, assuming a defensive posture.

With her eyes still closed, the girl abruptly snapped them open and sat up straight in bed, taking in deep breaths of fresh air. The lingering fierceness and madness in her gaze were enough to make anyone’s heart tremble.

Three years of surviving in the apocalypse had ingrained instinctive reactions into her. The moment she regained consciousness, her body reflexively tensed, muscles tightening as she cautiously observed her surroundings.

The familiar yet unfamiliar dormitory layout, the noisy yet safe environment—all these details bombarded Ye Yu’an’s fragile nerves.

It wasn’t until the phone beside her pillow rang that she finally processed this unbelievable reality.

She had been reborn!

After being pushed into a horde of zombies by her so-called best friend and boyfriend, she had returned to a time before the apocalypse even began!

The persistent ringing of her phone continued, as if it would never stop until she answered it.

Regaining her composure, Ye Yu’an glanced at the caller ID, and an intense hatred surged in her eyes, nearly overwhelming her self-control.

Taking a deep breath to suppress her emotions, she picked up the call and put the phone to her ear.

“Hello? What are you doing? Why did it take you so long to answer? Did you finish the coursework I asked you to do? It’s due tomorrow.”

As soon as the call connected, Du Hanxu’s accusatory voice came through, entitled and commanding.

“There are still a few parts that need revision. I’ll send it to you before class tomorrow.” Hearing this familiar voice again, Ye Yu’an felt a wave of nausea rise in her, making her want to vomit.

At the same time, she realized exactly when she had been reborn. She still remembered that this coursework she had completed for Du Hanxu had helped him gain a lot of recognition in the physics department.

Heh. But this time, he wouldn’t be so lucky. Consider this her first gift to him upon her rebirth!

“Alright then, make sure you send it early. I need time to review it.” Du Hanxu didn’t give it a second thought, simply giving a casual reminder before hanging up.

Clenching the now darkened phone in her hand, a cold glint of killing intent flashed in Ye Yu’an’s eyes.

Now was not the time to deal with Du Hanxu. When society collapsed into complete chaos, then she would make her move. For now, the priority was preparing for the apocalypse that would arrive in a month.

Ye Yu’an quickly got out of bed, packed a few things, and rushed out of the dormitory.

Meanwhile, in a foreign country, Shu Xin and Yan Mo had just secured the last batch of firearms and boarded a flight back home. The money in their hands had dwindled to just a few tens of millions.

Most of their funds had been spent on weapons, nearly eight billion in total. They had even custom-ordered a batch of cold weapons, which also cost a significant sum.

Firearms were essential for fighting zombies in the apocalypse. Although people would eventually awaken abilities, relying solely on them was unrealistic.

Abilities could be exhausted, making both firearms and melee weapons indispensable. In the apocalypse, no one would complain about having too many means of survival.

Bringing firearms and restricted weapons into the country was extremely risky. Customs inspections were growing stricter, and transportation was a major issue.

They didn’t have the time to arrange for proper smuggling routes, so handling transactions abroad was the safest and most convenient option.

In just one month, Yan Mo had placed orders with every arms dealer he and Bu Xiangwen were connected with, purchasing all the available stock they could provide.

Fortunately, arms dealers were in competition with each other. If they had known Yan Mo was buying such a massive amount of weaponry in such a short time, they probably wouldn’t have been able to sleep soundly at night.

Some less-than-honest dealers had even sent people to secretly follow Yan Mo and Shu Xin, trying to track where the goods were being delivered for a chance to rob them.

Yan Mo, however, was no amateur. Having grown up in this environment, he easily arranged for his men to mislead their trackers while he and Shu Xin swiftly secured the weapons and disappeared.

With Shu Xin’s spatial ability acting as a cheat code, no one could trace their movements.

Once the goods were safely in their hands, they would settle accounts with those untrustworthy dealers.

After witnessing a real-life black-market ambush, Shu Xin couldn’t help but be grateful for her earlier decision. If she had tried to enter the underworld alone, she would have been walking straight to her death.

She was just an ordinary person who had never seen bloodshed. Any seasoned criminal could see through her in an instant. These were people who had spent years in the trade, cunning as foxes. Trying to outwit them would be like brandishing a toy sword in front of a battle-hardened warrior.

Thinking about this, Shu Xin turned to the man beside her, who was quietly reading a book. She leaned her head on his shoulder and placed her hands on his thighs, feeling the firm muscles and smooth contours.

She couldn’t help but sigh inwardly. Choosing to cling to this man’s thigh had been the smartest decision she had ever made. His thighs were strong, and they felt great to touch!

Completely absorbed in her thoughts, Shu Xin didn’t realize that her hands were moving restlessly over Yan Mo’s legs.

The muscles beneath her palms gradually tensed, and the man’s gaze shifted from his book to her face, a dark glint flashing in his eyes.

“Xinbao, if you keep teasing me like this, I can’t guarantee you’ll make it off this plane unharmed.”

His voice, husky with suppressed desire, carried a burning heat as his breath brushed against her sensitive ear.

“Cough, cough, cough…”

Shu Xin immediately straightened up, sitting properly with her hands obediently placed at her sides, looking as prim and proper as a schoolgirl in class.

She tried to maintain a calm expression, but her ears, flushed red as though about to drip blood, completely betrayed her.

Yan Mo took it all in, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

His little girlfriend was simply too adorable.

He wasn’t some ascetic monk devoid of worldly desires. Feeling aroused by the woman he cherished was the most natural thing in the world.

If not for the wrong time and place—and the fear of scaring her by moving too fast—he definitely wouldn’t have let this little minx off so easily.

If Shu Xin could hear his thoughts, she would have secretly argued with him.

In reality, she was a little bit looking forward to it!

After accidentally catching a glimpse of Yan Mo changing and seeing his abs, she had been dying to touch them!

She had been drooling over her boyfriend’s body for a long time! But she didn’t dare say it out loud, afraid it would expose her pervy nature. She still wanted to maintain her innocent image in front of him.
