Shocking! A beautiful girl wakes up to find herself with a three-year-old child! Chapter 10

Chapter 10: Are You Disappointed It’s Just a Broken Bone?

“Are you feeling better?”  Her voice cracked with tears. “Zhuzhu?”

Tears rolled down her cheeks and onto Zhuzhu’s face. She reached out and touched them, looking at the wetness on her hand.

She tilted her head up and looked at her, not daring to get close, only staring intently.

Xu Chunian saw that she was feeling better and let go of her. “I’m sorry, Zhuzhu. Next time, I’ll get you a straw, okay?”

When she let go of her, Zhuzhu lowered her head and shrank back, clutching the little pig doll in her hand.

Xu Chunian knew that Zhuzhu didn’t want to be close to her now.  She felt empty after letting go of her and stood up. “Zhuzhu, I’m going out. Go to sleep early. Goodnight.”

When she reached the doorway, she turned around. Zhuzhu saw her turn and hurriedly lowered her head.

“Can I help you turn off the lights?”

“Click.” The room’s main light went out, and the little rabbit lamp on the princess bed lit up, making the room not completely dark.

When Zhuzhu saw that there was no more sound from the doorway, she stood up from the floor, placed the pig doll on the bed, and climbed up. The bed wasn’t very high, but it was a bit difficult for Zhuzhu, who was not yet three years old, to climb up.

She obediently covered herself with the blanket, placed the pig doll on the small pillow next to her, and closed her eyes.

Xu Chunian watched the whole thing. Zhuzhu was wary of her and seemed afraid of her getting close, so she didn’t dare go in again.

She wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes and turned around. She looked up with tear-filled eyes, but her gaze collided with the man standing not far away.

The light from the hallway behind her illuminated Jiang Huaixu’s tall figure. His features, not entirely clear, were sharp and cold. The man just looked at her coldly, his calm eyes without a flicker of emotion, his cold face filled with frost.

“Jiang Huaixu.” Xu Chunian’s voice was thick with sobs. “You…”

Jiang Huaixu ignored her and opened the door behind him. Xu Chunian pursed her lips, not daring to tell him everything. She wasn’t sure if their marriage was based on mutual love, and she wasn’t sure if he would send her to a mental hospital if she told him. After all, even Ali thought she was crazy. This whole situation was too unbelievable.

That night

Xu Chunian yawned lazily and felt sleepy. The coffee didn’t seem to have much effect on her. She just closed her eyes, closed her eyes, closed her eyes…

Her consciousness returned, and Xu Chunian sat up from the bed, instinctively looking around. She breathed a sigh of relief. She was still here.

She threw off the blanket and went downstairs.

Zhuzhu was sitting in a chair, obediently eating breakfast. The milk cup was a little big, and she couldn’t hold it with one hand.

“Madam, you’re awake.”

Xu Chunian nodded and sat down at the table, taking Zhuzhu’s milk cup and feeding her.

Zhuzhu was still a little afraid when she saw her and flinched.

“Take small sips, don’t choke.” Xu Chunian softened her voice.

Zhuzhu lowered her eyes. Her eyelashes were long and thick, and her double eyelids were a perfect inheritance from Xu Chunian. She sat quietly there, looking like a little princess from a fairy tale.

Zhuzhu finished a cup of milk with her help.

At that moment, Jiang Huaixu came down from upstairs, dressed.

“Zhuzhu, are you full?” He fastened the last button on his shirt cuff. “We have to go to the company.”

His voice softened a little when he spoke to Zhuzhu.

“It’s the weekend today. Zhuzhu isn’t going to kindergarten. Why don’t you leave her at home?” Xu Chunian rolled her eyes and ate her breakfast nonchalantly.

Jiang Huaixu didn’t let her get close to Zhuzhu, guarding her like she was some kind of disease.

Jiang Huaixu sneered, “Leave her at home to do what? Are you disappointed that Zhuzhu’s hand is only broken?”
