The Pharaoh, without a captain controlling it, was no match for the Phantom Ghost Ship and could only let itself be dragged towards the seabed.
According to the game’s settings, Rongrong and Zaizai were two distinct NPCs. Since Gu Rong was currently using the Zaizai identity card, he could only control the Phantom Ghost Ship, not the Pharaoh.
Everyone on the Pharaoh was shaken and thrown about, unable to stand steadily.
King Louis XIII reacted quickly. Seeing the dark seawater already flooding the deck, he wielded the Soul Sword and severed one of the Phantom Ghost Ship’s tentacles with a single strike.
The skulls making up the tentacle scattered like beads from a broken string, rolling into the sea.
Each tentacle was as thick as ten people hugging it, but the Soul Sword’s power was astonishing. King Louis XIII merely swung it lightly, and a tentacle was cut off.
One tentacle was severed, but seven remained, and the severed tentacle quickly reformed into a new one.
A shadow crossed King Louis XIII’s handsome face. He swung his sword again, this time cutting off two tentacles.
Although the tentacles quickly reformed each time they were cut, the regenerated tentacles were noticeably shorter than before.
The skulls shattered by the Soul Sword had turned to dust, dissolving into the seawater.
Seeing this, Isaac said painfully, “Little Captain, if this continues, the Ghost Ship will die a heroic death before it can drag the Pharaoh into the Phantom Ghost Realm.”
Gu Rong, holding his oversized telescope, was also observing the battle situation.
He had also noticed that five of the Giant Octopus’s tentacles had already been severed. These five quickly reformed but looked significantly shorter than the other three.
When Isaac turned his head, he saw Gu Rong holding a telescope larger than himself. The scene looked somewhat comical, making him pause for a moment.
Gu Rong held the telescope and looked at the Soul Sword in King Louis XIII’s hand.
“What sword is that?” Gu Rong’s voice was crisp and tender, not stingy with praise, “It’s so powerful!”
Isaac clasped his hands behind his back, his expression grave: “That’s the Soul Sword. Like the Soul Ring, it originates from the Deep Sea Ghost Realm. It can cleave open the Ghost Realm with one strike, unstoppable.”
Starsea Continent had come prepared. The fact that King Louis XIII dared to personally lead troops into the Ghost Realm this time meant he was determined to reclaim the Soul Ring.
With the enemy possessing the Soul Sword, their chances of winning increased.
Isaac sighed. However, when he turned his head again, he froze.
Gu Rong had put down the oversized telescope. Cradled in his arms now was a long sword, entirely pitch black. This sword looked incredibly familiar, the pattern and style…
Isaac stared blankly, first at the sword Gu Rong was holding with both small arms, then turned back to look at the sword King Louis XIII was using to slash the Ghost Ship’s tentacles in the distance.
WTF, how does the Little Captain also have a Soul Sword? No, there’s only one Soul Sword in total. How did another one appear? And how did it end up in the Little Captain’s hands?!
Isaac was completely stunned.
The other crew members also saw the Soul Sword in Gu Rong’s hands and were utterly astonished.
Gu Rong had used the Copy Card to replicate the Soul Sword. The Copy Card couldn’t replicate items related to the main task, so it couldn’t copy the Soul Ring in this instance, but it could copy the Soul Sword.
The Soul Sword was longer than Gu Rong himself. With a “Peng!”, Gu Rong threw the sword onto the deck, then grabbed the hilt with his small hands and pulled the blade out.
After drawing the sword, Gu Rong tried to lift it with both small hands. As soon as he lifted it, his small body trembled precariously, lost balance, and started to fall sideways.
Isaac: “…”
The Crew: “…”

Isaac promptly reached out and steadied Gu Rong.
Gu Rong thanked him sweetly: “Thank you, Uncle Isaac.”
Isaac said, “Little Captain, we have a Soul Sword too now. Try swinging it towards the Pharaoh a couple of times.”
Gu Rong nodded his little head: “Okay!”
Gu Rong just lifted the Soul Sword again, and his small body started trembling, about to fall over once more.
Isaac: “…”
Isaac lifted Gu Rong under his arms, holding him mid-air. Gu Rong, holding the Soul Sword high, aimed towards the Pharaoh and swung down.
Instantly, where the sword light passed, the seawater split apart, creating a massive chasm that cracked open towards both sides, resembling a bottomless abyss, rushing straight towards the Pharaoh.
Everything happened in an instant. The two ships were only 400 meters apart. When the Pharaoh and the Phantom Ghost Ship plummeted into the great chasm, the people on board couldn’t even react; besides letting out terrified screams, they could do nothing.
Gu Rong, along with the crew members, was on the copied Pharaoh. As the chasm extended, they also fell with the cruise ship.
–
An unknown amount of time passed. Gu Rong opened his eyes again to find himself sprawled on the ground.
The sight above his head made his eyes widen instantly. His delicate and pretty little face showed astonishment and confusion.
Huh? What is this?
Gu Rong lay directly on the ground, wriggling his small body, changing his perspective.
But the scene above remained strangely turbulent.
Above him wasn’t the sky, but seawater.
It was like the ocean was inverted overhead, yet the water didn’t fall down.
Gu Rong sat up from the ground, stretched out his small hands, and felt no falling water.
Beneath him was a soft lawn. Gu Rong patted the grass, then looked around. Everywhere were unheard-of, unseen glowing plants – flowers, grass, trees – looking beautiful yet strange.
Everyone had fallen together, but now only Gu Rong remained. The others were gone.
It was also possible that Gu Rong was too short, and the plants, taller than him, obstructed his view.
Gu Rong looked up again at the ocean sky, where various kinds of fish swam overhead.
These fish were gelatinous and translucent, glowing faintly.
A giant jellyfish drifted in the air, also glowing. Its oral arms swayed like a fairy’s dance skirt, iridescent and graceful, like light gauze, thin mist, the phantom of a lost soul.
“So strange, why is the sea in the sky? So many fish! Huh, little flower.”
Gu Rong touched a nearby small flower. The little flower was also glowing.
He didn’t dare to touch it hard. The flower looked crystal clear, very delicate, gelatinous and translucent, somewhat like the texture of jelly. It felt like it would shatter with the slightest touch.
Gu Rong withdrew his hand before even making contact.
006 said: [Little host, this is the Phantom Ghost Realm.]
[Ding! Congratulations, little host, for completing Zaizai’s task. Reward: 1,000,000 points, Phantom Ghost Ship * 1.]
[Phantom Ghost Ship: Undead warship composed of countless immortal skulls. Can change shape at will, controlled by thought, and can travel stealthily underwater. Heat resistant up to 6000°C (approx. sun’s surface temperature), cold resistant down to -273.15°C (absolute zero).]
[Duration: 2 hours.]
[Cooldown: 5 minutes.]
Hmm? Charge for 5 minutes, use for 2 hours?
The livestream chat was stunned by the scene before them. Even the most advanced movie special effects probably couldn’t produce this imagery.
[So beautiful! A visual feast!]
[Too beautiful, too beautiful, I’m fainting from the beauty! [Gift Points]]
[Little Rong-Zaizai’s Fantastic Voyage / Little Rong-Zaizai in Wonderland.]
[The sea can be inverted in the sky? Newton’s coffin lid must be rattling!]
[Good grief, you’re talking about gravity in a horror game!]
–
Gu Rong turned his little head, looking left and right, and asked crisply: [Where is everyone else?]
006: [We can go look for them. Little host, should we switch to the Rongrong identity card? Zaizai’s task is complete, next is Rongrong’s task.]
Gu Rong pressed his small hands on the ground, stuck his little bottom up, and climbed to his feet, nodding his little head.
Saying switch, he switched. Gu Rong changed to the Rongrong identity card. When he opened his eyes again, the scene… hadn’t changed much. It seemed like he was still in the same place.
But looking closely, there were some differences.
It was just that the giant glowing jellyfish overhead was still hovering there. Its body was too enormous; even after changing locations, the jellyfish was still visible.
He was still surrounded by various unknown glowing plants.
Gu Rong looked down at himself; his clothes had changed into the Little Prince’s ornate attire.
The surroundings were similar, with no obvious difference.
Gu Rong didn’t hesitate, randomly chose a direction, pushed aside the flowers, and started walking forward on his short legs, stumbling along.
Some plants were taller than adults. When Gu Rong entered the tall grass, even his shadow disappeared. He was like a little hamster scurrying through the grass, making rustling xixisusu sounds.
As he walked, Gu Rong’s little ears twitched. He heard people talking.
“You batch of lowborns actually have some ability, managing to drag down Starsea Continent’s warship.”
“Starsea Continent has been dominated by the Louis Dynasty for too long. It’s time for a change of ownership. It’s time they tasted eternal burial at the bottom of the sea, never seeing the light of day again. Let us go up and breathe some fresh air.”
“No matter where you are, only the strong are respected, not those who rely on others. This is the lifelong lesson we teach you group of lowborns – even in the Phantom Ghost Realm, you are the lowest of the lowborns.”
“Pies don’t fall from the sky, so can flowers grow from the seabed? What a bunch of idiots! Hahahaha!”
Immediately after, Gu Rong heard Isaac and Sol cursing, along with the indignant voices of other Phantom Ghost Ship crew members.
Gu Rong hid in the grass, peeking out through the gaps between the leaves.
He saw, in a clearing, that the crew of the Phantom Ghost Ship had actually all been captured.
Isaac and Sol knelt at the very front, both with bruised and swollen faces, blood streaming down, swords held against their necks.
And the ones holding them captive were a group of glowing, translucent people.
These people resembled normal humans in appearance, but like the glowing fish swimming overhead and the plants, they were also gelatinous and translucent, emitting a faint glow.
However, their internal organs were not visible beneath their skin.
Whether it was this group of translucent people, the fish, or the plants, they all seemed like… ghosts.
The livestream chat was already overflowing with anger.
[So, the Pharaoh and the Phantom Ghost Ship fought each other, while these ghost monsters hid below, reaping the fisherman’s profit?]
[Too despicable! My fists are clenched.]
[This instance could be renamed “The Tragic Life of Exploited Lowborns”.]
–
The translucent people began leading the Phantom Ghost Ship crew away.
Seeing them leave, Gu Rong took two steps forward to follow, but as soon as he moved, the grass rustled.
The translucent people were extremely alert and immediately looked over: “What sound was that?”
Gu Rong clasped his small hands together, obediently squatting motionless in the grass.
Everyone, including the Phantom Ghost Ship crew, looked towards the grass patch.
The plants were translucent, but not completely transparent, and they all glowed. Gu Rong, being tiny, wasn’t easily spotted when squatting in the grass.
One translucent person stepped forward, probed the grass twice with a sword, found nothing unusual, and was about to turn and leave when his sharp eyes spotted a glint of gold.
The translucent person’s gaze sharpened. He reached out and grabbed… a curly, light-gold wig.
Translucent Person: “?”
Gu Rong: “…”
006: […]
Livestream Chat: […]
What the heck is this?
The translucent person pursed his lips, took the wig, turned around, and left.
Gu Rong patted his little head: [Rongrong’s wig!]
006: [Don’t worry, little host, we still have the spare one from when we disguised ourselves as the Little Prince.]
Gu Rong nodded: [Okay!]
Only after the translucent people had led the crew members far away did Gu Rong cautiously poke his head out from behind the grass.
Then, swinging his little arms, he followed them with determined dadada pitter-pattering steps.
