Chapter 7: I Changed My Mind, Let’s Get Married
“Yu Nanzheng, how did you find me?”
Yu Nanzheng was dressed in a black suit, his hair neatly combed, revealing a handsome widow’s peak.
He was simply stunning.
Yu Nanzheng grabbed her hand, “Come with me, let’s talk in the car.”
Jian Hongyou didn’t object. She was too conspicuous, and it would be troublesome if someone recognized her.
They got into the Rolls Royce, Han Guang and Old Qin consciously got out of the car and waited.
Jian Hongyou asked again, “How did you know I moved here?”
She had moved to Guangming District yesterday, or rather last night.
Yu Nanzheng glanced at her.
He said arrogantly, “If I want to know where you live, it’s not difficult.”
Jian Hongyou forgot, he was the young master of the Yun family, with connections all over the capital, it wouldn’t be difficult for him to find out anything about her.
“Big star, are you trying to get photographed every day by living here?”
This was an old residential area, large and with a mixed population.
If she, a star, was found living here, she would probably be besieged every day.
Of course, Jian Hongyou knew that.
“What else can I do? I’m sure you already know my situation. I’m not living on the streets, that’s good enough. I can’t be picky about where I live.”
Yu Nanzheng suddenly threw a card at her, Jian Hongyou instinctively caught it.
She lowered her head and found it was a gate card.
“Tanxiyuan, Villa No. 1, you live there.”
Jian Hongyou’s eyes lit up, even with the mask on, her fox eyes could be seen curving upwards.
“Yu Nanzheng, thank you!”
She said, and without warning, kissed him on the cheek, quickly retreating.
Yu Nanzheng felt his chest pounding violently, almost bursting out, instinctively reaching out to cover it.
Jian Hongyou frowned, her face full of worry.
“Yu Nanzheng, what’s wrong with you? Are you feeling unwell? You can’t have anything happen to you, you’re my backing now, I’m counting on you.”
The turmoil in Yu Nanzheng’s body slowly subsided.
He knew this woman was heartless and carefree.
Jian Hongyou didn’t know why Yu Nanzheng suddenly changed his expression.
His face was as black as if someone owed him money.
“Yu Nanzheng, you wouldn’t be angry because I kissed you, would you? Don’t be so petty, I was just excited, besides, it was through the mask. I was just too excited, I treated you like a good sister. I do this with Sister Wang and Zazan all the time.”
Yu Nanzheng silently remembered Sister Wang and Zazan, Jian Hongyou had kissed them.
“Jian Hongyou, I’ve changed my mind, I don’t need a girlfriend, I need a wife, let’s get married.”
Yu Nanzheng’s thoughts were jumping too fast, Jian Hongyou didn’t react.
“What?”
“We’re getting married.”
Jian Hongyou instinctively wanted to refuse.
Her best years were just beginning, why get married?
She didn’t want to step into the grave of marriage.
Yu Nanzheng: “My dad said men should get married before they start a career. Only when I get married will he give me the inheritance. You need my help now, and I need your help too. We getting married is perfect, you can use my name, Yu Nanzheng’s wife, to do whatever you want outside.”
Jian Hongyou: …
It sounded pretty tempting.
“I don’t have to chase you anymore, right?”
“You’ve already caught me.”
Yu Nanzheng was implying something, but Jian Hongyou didn’t understand.
However, she was relieved that she didn’t have to chase him.
To be honest, she had no clue about chasing men. Last night, she searched for some ideas online, but they didn’t seem reliable.
Yu Nanzheng carefully observed her, afraid she would refuse.
“I’ll give you a day to think about it, give me your answer tomorrow.”
“No need, I can give you my answer now. I’m willing to marry you.”
Yu Nanzheng used all his willpower to stop himself from laughing out loud.
At first, he was afraid of being too unreserved and being suspected by Jian Hongyou. So he let Jian Hongyou chase him.
After he went back, he regretted it.
Chase what? He should have just taken her directly to get the marriage certificate and tied Jian Hongyou to him.
To cut off other people’s thoughts.
Yu Nanzheng pretended to be calm and asked, “Made up your mind?”
“Yeah, I’ve made up my mind. When are we getting the certificate? Also, we don’t need to have a wedding, right?”
“Up to you, if you want to have one, we’ll have one, if you don’t want to, we won’t.”
Jian Hongyou thought about Jian Yu-Nian’s recent passing, it was not appropriate to hold a wedding.
“Let’s not have one.”
“Okay.”
Yu Nanzheng caught the sadness on Jian Hongyou’s face.
He felt a little sorry for her.
“Give me your phone.”
Jian Hongyou guessed what he was going to do and obediently handed him her phone.
Yu Nanzheng did a few things, they exchanged contact information and added each other on WeChat.
Then he handed the phone back to Jian Hongyou.
“Call me if you need anything.”
Jian Hongyou nodded, very satisfied with Yu Nanzheng’s decisiveness.
She liked straightforward people.
After a few years, this guy had matured a lot, not as childish as before.
Yu Nanzheng looked at his watch.
“Tomorrow morning at eight, meet at the Civil Affairs Bureau. I have something to do now, I’ll go first.”
Jian Hongyou nodded, pushed open the car door and got out.
Jian Minghui was surprised to see his sister go out and come back.
“Sis, why are you back?”
Jian Hongyou started packing her things.
“I’m going to move out.”
Jian Minghui was anxious, “Sis, where are you going to move? It’s so good for us to live together as a family. If you think it’s crowded, I’ll go back to the dormitory these two days, you can sleep in my room.”
“No, my job is special, if someone takes pictures of me living here one day, everyone will be uncomfortable.”
“Sis, be careful, it’s okay.”
“Minghui, you’re a big guy, why are you so fussy? Don’t talk nonsense, go about your business.”
Jian Hongyou quickly packed her things, found her mother.
“Mom, where’s our household registration book?”
“What do you need the household registration book for?”
“I need to get a document, I need the household registration book.”
Although Jian’s mother was puzzled as to why she needed a household registration book for a document, she still took out the Jian family’s household registration book from the box and handed it to her.
Jian Hongyou took the household registration book.
She told her mother, “Mom, I’ll come back to see you often, take care of yourself.”
Jian’s mother had already heard the conversation between Jian Hongyou and Jian Minghui, she knew her daughter was going to move out.
She was indeed not suitable to live here.
“I know, you take care of yourself too.”
Jian Hongyou left the car to Jian Minghui.
Jian Minghui was about to graduate from university and had found a company to intern at, he would report to the company in two days.
They were now living in a suburb far from the city center, it was not convenient to get around, it would be better if they had a car.
Jian Hongyou pulled her suitcase downstairs and took a taxi directly to Tanxiyuan No. 1.
As a native of the capital, she naturally knew Tanxiyuan No. 1.
It was a wealthy residential area, with only eight villas in total, outsiders couldn’t buy them even if they wanted to, because no one was selling.
She didn’t expect Yu Nanzheng to have a villa there.
This guy was really rich!
Jian Hongyou stood outside the luxurious villa that looked super imposing.
She took out the gate card and swiped it to enter.
The house seemed to be empty, it was quiet.
She entered the password that Yu Nanzheng had sent her.
The door opened, Jian Hongyou walked in, she was stunned by the luxurious interior.
