Chapter 43
It seems that it’s not that she has changed, but that he knows too little about her.
The village party secretary almost lost his balance. He slammed the table angrily and yelled, “Su Ying, stop talking nonsense here.”
Su Ying raised her chin unceremoniously: “Uncle, I ran into you two in the back hills several times. Do you want me to explain it more clearly?”
The village party secretary rolled his eyes in anger and almost fainted.
It’s over, it’s over. This has been exposed.
Su Ying continued, “Uncle, are you going to do it or not? If you don’t, I’ll go talk to Aunt Lan.”
When the village party secretary heard that the damn girl was going to look for his wife, he was so angry that he clenched his fists.
“Okay, okay, I’ll do it for you.”
You damn girl, just wait for me. You’d better pray that you don’t fall into my hands easily in the future.
He angrily opened the drawer, took out a piece of paper and wrote the household registration certificate on it.
Su Ying felt half relieved, but when she was halfway through writing, she made a mistake in writing the number. The village party secretary tore up the paper and took a new one, which made Su Ying feel more anxious again.
At the critical moment, don’t let anything go wrong.
Seeing her anxious look, Lu Dongsheng couldn’t help but feel distressed again.
This little girl probably wants to leave here as soon as possible, otherwise she wouldn’t be so anxious.
Open it, and after opening it he will hold it for her, and don’t think about taking it away in the future.
The Aunt Lan mentioned by Su Ying is Zhao Xiaolan, the daughter-in-law of Secretary Jiang.
When Zhao Xiaolan, who was busy cooking in the kitchen, heard the news, she was so angry that she was shaking.
Well, she had discovered that this old guy was with that stinky widow before, and she asked him several times, but the old guy refused to admit it.
Now, everyone in the village knows about it.
Zhao Xiaolan didn’t have time to cook. She rushed to the brigade yard with a kitchen knife in her hand. Some villagers who liked to watch the fun squatted at the door with their bowls and chopsticks, eating and waiting for Zhao Xiaolan to come to the brigade yard with a smile on their faces.
The village party secretary was in the room, and he had long forgotten about the fact that he had turned on the microphone.
The household registration certificate was issued again. The village party secretary took out a red seal, blew on it, and was about to stamp it when hurried footsteps were heard in the yard. The wooden door of the office was kicked, and the burly Zhao Xiaolan rushed in.
The village party secretary was so scared that his hands shook and he failed to press the seal.
Su Ying turned around and saw Zhao Xiaolan, and secretly said “oh no”. While the village party secretary’s eyes were on Zhao Xiaolan, she stepped forward, pressed the village party secretary’s hand, and stamped it.
Seeing her quick reaction, Lu Dongsheng suppressed the smile on his lips. When Zhao Xiaolan was about to chop the village party secretary with the kitchen knife in her hand, he swiftly grabbed Zhao Xiaolan’s wrist with one hand and snatched the kitchen knife from her hand with the other.
Zhao Xiaolan broke free from Lu Dongsheng’s wrist and without stopping, she walked forward and grabbed the remaining hair on the village party secretary’s head, which could be counted on one’s fingers. She stretched out her hand and slapped him in the face.
“Damn it, I think your Jiang family is a mess, with the way you are, how can you raise a good son?
How dare you cheat on me with a widow? I’ll scratch you to death.”
The village party secretary’s screams were heard in the office. Su Ying had never expected things to turn out like this. She tore off the household registration certificate and ran away with Lu Dongsheng.
Several team leaders stood at the door and watched. After Su Ying came out, Lu Dongsheng handed the kitchen knife to the team leader and reminded him, “Go in and persuade them quickly. Your village party secretary and his wife are fighting.”
The captain’s mouth twitched. This is your wife’s fault.
Oh my goodness, after this damn girl Su Ying changed her personality, she has made the village a mess these days.
Several team leaders rushed in to separate the fight.
Su Ying pulled Lu Dongsheng all the way to the wheat field, then let him go, bent over and gasped for breath.
Her cheeks were flushed, but Lu Dongsheng didn’t react at all, and his tall figure stood straight.
Su Ying saw that he didn’t react, and gasped: “Why don’t you react?”
“I usually train very hard. If I get out of breath after walking just a few steps, I’ll die of exhaustion before I even get to the battlefield.”
He took out a piece of White Rabbit milk candy from his pocket, carefully peeled off the sugar coating and handed it to Su Ying who was still breathing heavily.
Su Ying was stunned for a moment: “Where did it come from?”
“I bought this for you. You looked so thin and I was worried that you might get hypoglycemia, so I put it in the same paper bag you use to store clothes.”
Su Ying didn’t hesitate. She had only eaten a potato this morning. Her stomach was really not feeling well at the moment and her tummy was rumbling.
She didn’t act pretentiously and just opened her mouth and took a bite. The silky milky flavor filled her entire mouth.
This toffee is so delicious.
Lu Dongsheng bent down and looked at her expectantly: “Is it delicious?”
Su Ying’s cheeks were slightly pink, and she turned her head away proudly: “It’s so disgusting.”
Lu Dongsheng knew that she was saying one thing and thinking another, so he stood up straight and chuckled.
“Now you have offended Secretary Jiang again. It seems that you have no choice but to follow me.”
Su Ying looked at the household registration certificate in her hand and almost couldn’t hold back her tears.
Great, she finally separated from that family.
She carefully folded up the household registration certificate and was about to put it in her pocket when Lu Dongsheng snatched it away.
Su Ying was anxious. She had met him several times in the past few days. Coupled with the halo of the male protagonist in the book, she knew that he was not a bad person, and the impatience on her face was only a flash.
She tried to explain to him: “No, what do you want to do with my household registration certificate?”
“Get the certificate. Think about it. It’s dangerous to keep such an important thing on you. You should keep it on me.”
Su Ying took advantage of Lu Dongsheng’s inattention, jumped up and reached out to grab it.
Lu Dongsheng raised his hand high and said seriously, “Don’t grab it. If you accidentally tear it up, it will be very difficult to open another one.”
Su Ying was not tall enough, and even if she stood on tiptoe, she couldn’t reach it.
This man is such a dog. While the mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind, he is just sitting back and reaping the benefits with a slingshot.
Hate it, hate it, really hate it.
She couldn’t reach him, and she couldn’t hit him either. She was so angry that she kicked him on the calf, but Lu Dongsheng didn’t react at all.
Su Ying pretended to surrender and when she jumped up again to grab it, Lu Dongsheng just lowered his head, and their mouths gently brushed against each other. The soft and hot feeling made their pupils shrink.
Su Ying almost lost her balance. She covered her mouth with her hands and quickly turned her back to him.
Lu Dongsheng raised his hand and touched his mouth, then leaned close to Su Ying’s ear and said, “I’ll assume that you took the initiative to kiss me. I know you’re anxious to marry me. Let’s go to the city to get the marriage certificate this afternoon.”
Su Ying was furious. That was not the case. It was just an accident.
It’s really shameless.
Su Ying coughed twice to calm herself down, turned around, spread her palms and smiled sweetly: “Then respected Brother Lu, can you please return my household registration certificate to me?”
The smile on Lu Dongsheng’s lips disappeared, and his expression changed faster than turning the pages of a book.
“Can’t.”
Su Ying watched him put the household registration certificate into the bag on his chest.
She let out a long sigh.
This is like getting out of the tiger’s mouth and into the wolf’s den. How unfair!
