Chapter 62: Strawberry Mark
“Sheng Yu,” Qiao Shuyi suddenly spoke.
The man raised his eyes, his eyes still holding the lingering desire.
Qiao Shuyi gritted her teeth, her face flushed red: “Can you wait a little longer? I, I’m not ready.”
The air fell silent.
Qiao Shuyi felt a little uneasy.
Anyone would be unhappy to be interrupted at this moment.
She was afraid Sheng Yu would be unhappy too.
The man paused for a few seconds before getting up without a word. He reached out and pulled her up from the sofa, pulled down her cheongsam for her, and then buttoned up the loosened buttons one by one.
“…Sorry,” Qiao Shuyi whispered, her face red as a tomato.
“What are you apologizing for?” Sheng Yu smiled and kissed her lips: “It’s my fault, I was too eager.”
They had only been together for a week.
“It’s getting late, you should go back to sleep.”
Qiao Shuyi slowly got up, but as she was about to leave, her eyes accidentally swept over a certain spot. She instantly felt as if she had been scalded and quickly averted her eyes, running out of the room.
Her heart raced for a long time.
She suddenly remembered that Sheng Tang had not only suspected his brother’s orientation but also suspected his brother’s body.
Now it seemed that his orientation was fine, and his body was fine too.
After washing up, Qiao Shuyi effortlessly found a set of pajamas she liked from Sheng Tang’s dressing room and changed into them. Then she lay down in the empty space beside her.
It was almost two o’clock, but she wasn’t very sleepy.
The events of tonight were like a movie playing over and over in her mind.
One moment she and Sheng Yu were eating an apple together in plain sight, the next he was pressing her against the wall and kissing her passionately, and finally she was pressed against the sofa by him, her cheongsam buttons being undone one by one.
Thinking about it, her face started to heat up again.
She discovered that she not only didn’t mind being intimate with Sheng Yu, she even liked it a little.
This was something she wouldn’t even dare to think about in her past life.
In her past life, she had always kept her mother’s teachings in mind, respecting herself and loving herself, and not engaging in intimate relationships with the opposite sex before getting engaged.
She had always done a pretty good job and became the “well-bred lady” that elders praised.
She remembered that even holding hands with Gu Lin Chuan back then was done in secret.
But now she was someone who had already died once. She didn’t want to live a life of rules and obedience like she did in her past life.
This time, she wanted to follow her heart and live freely and unrestrainedly.
With this thought, Qiao Shuyi slowly fell asleep…
She didn’t know that in the next room, the man was still unable to sleep.
Every time he closed his eyes, the image of the girl with red eyes, looking at him innocently and bewildered, would appear in his mind, making him want to bully her.
After all, he was too eager. They had only been dating for a few days.
The person he once thought was so far away was suddenly by his side, and she even said she liked him.
Any man would probably be unable to control himself, right?
Anyway, he almost couldn’t hold back.
Thinking about it, Sheng Yu suddenly sat up from the bed and got out of bed resignedly, heading towards the bathroom.
Soon, the sound of water splashing could be heard from the bathroom.
Accompanied by the man’s rapid and heavy breathing.
…
The next day.
The weekend alarm didn’t go off, and Qiao Shuyi slept until ten o’clock before being woken up by the sound of Sheng Tang washing up.
She slowly sat up from the bed, stunned for a few seconds before realizing that she had slept at Sheng’s house again last night.
“Qiao Qiao, you’re finally awake!” Sheng Tang came out of the bathroom after washing his face: “I was just thinking, it’s already ten o’clock, should I wake you up?”
“It’s rare to see you sleep so soundly, what time did you go to bed last night?”
“One o’clock, it took me half an hour to put you to bed.”
Of course, there was another half an hour spent with Sheng Yu.
Qiao Shuyi yawned and got out of bed, starting to change clothes.
Suddenly, she saw something and her pupils constricted. Her whole body instantly woke up.
There was a red mark on her neck.
The legendary “strawberry mark”?
She had come back late last night and hadn’t looked closely, so she went straight to bed.
Now that she looked closely, she realized how obvious it was.
Seeing that Sheng Tang’s gaze was about to fall on her, Qiao Shuyi quickly turned sideways and started to button up her cheongsam.
Fortunately, the collar of the cheongsam just covered the red mark.
But it was just barely enough.
One wrong move and it would be visible.
Sheng Tang’s urging voice rang out: “Qiao Qiao, are you ready? I want to go downstairs for breakfast, I didn’t eat much last night, I’m starving…”
“You go down first, I’ll go down by myself later.”
“Okay.”
After Sheng Tang left, Qiao Shuyi lifted her collar again and looked at it.
She tried rubbing it with her hand, covering it with foundation, but nothing worked.
In the end, she could only give up.
Forget it, it’s fine for now.
When Qiao Shuyi went downstairs, Sheng Tang and Sheng Yu were already downstairs.
They were each sitting on a sofa, Sheng Yu was watching the news on TV, and Sheng Tang was half-lying on the sofa, munching on an apple.
“Sheng Yu, good morning,” Qiao Shuyi greeted him.
The man raised his eyes and glanced at her lightly: “It’s not morning anymore.”
“…”
Qiao Shuyi ignored him and sat down beside Sheng Tang.
“There’s no breakfast, lunch will be a while, why don’t you have an apple to hold you over?” Sheng Tang pointed to a basket of bright red apples on the table.
“It’s okay, I’m not hungry.”
Sheng Tang didn’t say anything else.
Qiao Shuyi watched the news with him.
As she watched, her gaze drifted to Sheng Yu.
Today he wasn’t going to work, and he was wearing a casual brown home outfit. It was very textured and had a nice drape, accentuating his elegant and noble temperament.
Perhaps sensing her gaze, Sheng Yu’s gaze also turned towards her.
The moment their eyes met, Qiao Shuyi’s mind inevitably flashed back to the scene from last night.
Even her ears started to heat up.
She quickly lowered her head and avoided his gaze.
A few seconds later, her phone vibrated.
She looked down and found that it was a message from Sheng Yu.
Sheng Yu: [Remember what you promised me last night.]
Last night?
Qiao Shuyi instantly understood. She had promised Sheng Yu last night that she would tell Sheng Tang about their relationship after she woke up today.
She glanced at Sheng Tang beside her. She was munching on an apple while looking at her phone.
She didn’t notice the undercurrent between them.
Sheng Yu’s message came again.
Sheng Yu: [If you can’t say it, let me say it.]
Qiao Shuyi tapped her fingers on the screen and replied with a few words: [I’ll try first.]
