Chapter 24: Restraint Can’t Be Eaten
Cen Wan had never kissed before. Lu Beixun was not only her husband but also her first love. His kissing skills were quite green.
Lu Beixun dodged. She chased after him. He dodged, and she chased.
Cen Wan issued a warning, “Lu Beixun, if you keep dodging, I’ll bite you.”
Lu Beixun clearly believed her. He knew this unreasonable woman very well.
He stopped dodging. Cen Wan kissed him clumsily. Her clumsy kissing skills were like a fire, about to ignite Lu Beixun.
She kissed him for a long time, but Lu Beixun didn’t react. She moved away from his lips, wanting to try a different method. Just then, Lu Beixun’s hand tightly clasped her waist, and his other hand cupped the back of her head, pressing her down.
Lu Beixun kissed her lips, fiercely circling them, as if venting his dissatisfaction.
Cen Wan’s lips felt a stinging pain. She frowned and endured it. The hand on her waist was very strong, as if he wanted to rub her into his body.
As if the position was uncomfortable, Lu Beixun picked her up horizontally and threw her onto the bed, then leaned over her. Cen Wan was about to say something when her lips were blocked again, leaving only muffled sounds.
Lu Beixun’s eyes were tinged with red. He kissed her forcefully. His warm hand roamed over her body. Cen Wan knew he was really angry.
Cen Wan closed her eyes and endured his forceful and intense kiss. The hand roaming over her body ignited a fire in every place it touched.
She let out a soft moan. She was secretly looking forward to Lu Beixun going further, but he stopped his movements.
She was dizzy and lightheaded from Lu Beixun’s kiss. Her brain was almost deprived of oxygen when he finally released her.
She hooked her arms around Lu Beixun’s neck, panting slightly. It took her a while to recover.
She smiled with narrowed eyes, “Are you not angry anymore?”
“If not… We can do it again.”
Lu Beixun reached out and rubbed her head, “Where’s your restraint?”
“Restraint can’t be eaten.”
Her white fingers circled his chest. Her eyes were raised, “Besides, I want to…”
Lu Beixun got up, straightened his clothes, and looked at her, who was lying on the bed with her clothes slightly disheveled, “Then think about it.”
With that, Lu Beixun left her bedroom, leaving only his tall figure behind.
Cen Wan shouted, “Don’t you want to?”
Her expression was resentful. She had clearly felt his body react just now. How could he deny it? How could he treat her like this? It was so cruel.
Cen Wan straightened her clothes and chased after Lu Beixun. When she went downstairs, Cen Xiu had already left. It was understandable. No matter how thick-skinned he was, he wouldn’t be able to stay after being treated like that.
The servants had prepared dinner. Cen Wan went to Cen Luoluo’s room to call her. When Cen Luoluo came down, she didn’t see Cen Xiu. They must have left on bad terms.
Cen Luoluo sighed and didn’t say anything more. She looked at Lu Beixun, who was sitting on the sofa, and walked over to take an apple from the fruit bowl on the coffee table. She started to eat it, but her gaze was on Lu Beixun.
Lu Beixun looked at her after she stared at him for a long time. Cen Luoluo took a bite of the apple, “Brother-in-law, can you handle my sister’s temper?”
Before Lu Beixun could speak, Cen Luoluo said, “I shouldn’t have asked. How could you not handle it? You can’t wait to spoil her.”
Hearing Cen Luoluo’s words, Cen Wan cursed herself again. Cen Luoluo knew that Lu Beixun spoiled her, but she had tried every way to make Lu Beixun unhappy.
Cen Wan walked over and patted Cen Luoluo’s head lightly, “What did I tell you? Don’t meddle in adults’ business.”
Cen Wan rolled her eyes at her, “You did this, and your brother-in-law is angry with me.”
“Ah?” Cen Luoluo felt like she had made a big mistake. She looked at Lu Beixun, “Brother-in-law, don’t be angry with my sister. Cen Xiu was the one who asked me to come.”
Cen Luoluo was sometimes careless and sometimes considerate. Since Cen Wan and Lu Beixun got married, she could clearly feel the subtle relationship between Lu Beixun and Cen Xiu.
Cen Wan chuckled, “Alright, let’s eat. Go back to school tomorrow.”
Cen Luoluo was dissatisfied, “Is that how you talk to your own sister?”
“Less talk.” Cen Wan was doing this for her safety. Her parents weren’t here. Compared to home, school was the safest place. She had also arranged for many people to protect her safety at school.
Cen Wan didn’t know that Cen’s family was absolutely safe now. Those with ulterior motives had been dealt with by Lu Beixun. Except for a few old servants, the rest of the new faces were Lu Beixun’s people.
After dinner, Cen Wan was about to leave. Cen Luoluo pulled her back, “Can’t you stay and keep me company?”
“No.”
“Cen Wan, you’re so heartless.” Cen Luoluo leaned on her shoulder and acted coquettishly, “Stay, okay? I want to whisper to you.”
Cen Wan couldn’t resist Cen Luoluo’s coquettishness. She looked at Lu Beixun with difficulty, “Stay for one night?”
Cen Luoluo wouldn’t let her go, and she wouldn’t let Lu Beixun go either.
Cen Wan took a shower and found toiletries and pajamas for Lu Beixun, “I’ll be back soon.”
She went to Cen Wan’s room and got into her bed. Cen Luoluo came out of the bathroom, drying her hair. She looked at Cen Wan, “You’re leaving your brother-in-law alone?”
Cen Wan rolled her eyes at her, “Who’s to blame?”
“It’s my fault, it’s my fault.”
Cen Luoluo dried her hair, hugged her pillow, sat on the bed with her legs crossed, and sighed deeply.
Cen Wan raised her eyebrows to look at her, “What’s wrong? Are you in love?”
In the previous life, she seemed to have heard Cen Luoluo mention a boy, but she only said a few words. She didn’t say much. She didn’t know what happened to them later.
“I guess so.” Cen Luoluo lowered her head and poked the pillow with her hand, “There’s a senior. He’s always acting like he’s the most important person in the world. He’s so annoying, but I can’t help but like him. What should I do?”
After a few seconds, Cen Luoluo said, “Let me clarify. He doesn’t like me.”
“Look at you, you’re such a coward.” Cen Wan “啧”ed, “Tell me his name. I’ll beat him up until he likes you.”
Cen Luoluo glanced at her helplessly, “Can you not be so violent?”
“Forget it, I can’t count on you.” Cen Luoluo said, “You’re spoiled by your brother-in-law. You’re only good at solving problems with violence. Don’t you know that forcing a melon won’t make it sweet?”
Cen Wan: “I don’t know if it’s sweet or not, but if I can twist it off, it’s my skill. I’m happy.”
“This boy’s uncle, you know him.” Cen Luoluo said.
Cen Wan blinked, “Who’s his uncle?”
“Ji Zhihuai.”
Cen Wan exclaimed, “Wow, Ji Zhihuai is one of Lu Beixun’s few friends. He’s also the one who made Xu Zhitang, the Sea Queen, settle down half a year later.”
Cen Wan flipped her hair, “No matter who his uncle is, he can’t dislike my sister.”
Cen Luoluo: “…”
She had been talking for so long, and it was all in vain. “Cen Wan! This is a society ruled by law. Don’t solve problems with violence.”
In the end, Cen Wan was chased out of the room by Cen Luoluo. She went back to her room angrily. Lu Beixun hadn’t gone to sleep yet. He was reading a magazine.
She lay on the bed, sprawled out. After a while, she turned over and lay on her stomach, beckoning Lu Beixun with her fingers, “Have you met Ji Zhihuai’s nephew?”
“Is he handsome?”
Lu Beixun’s expression darkened, “I haven’t met him.”
