As the attacks hit him, Wu Shaochen sneered. He had long expected this outcome; otherwise, what was the point of having so many attribute points? His high-level silver and bronze gear was no accident either. These players in plain white gear, with the occasional piece of low-grade black iron equipment, dared to attack him? He couldn’t understand where their confidence came from.
Seeing that most of the attackers had already turned gray, Wu Shaochen leisurely drew his dagger, and with astonishing speed, he charged toward the archers and mages who had just attacked him.
“Retreat!” someone shouted. But it was futile; their speed could not compare to his. He quickly penetrated the crowd, cutting through them like a wolf among sheep. Every slash inflicted over a thousand points of damage, and before the poison effects could even trigger, these fragile archers and mages collapsed into white light.
The battle quickly turned one-sided. The mages and archers, no longer in formation, were running for their lives, but their speed was no match for Wu Shaochen. One by one, he caught up and dealt with them, while a group of shield warriors and fighters followed behind, completely useless, only able to watch as the fragile ones fell.
Within a few minutes, over a hundred mages and archers had turned into white light and returned to the city. Wu Shaochen shook his head, “So poor.”
After finishing off the ranged attackers, Wu Shaochen turned around to look at the shield warriors and fighters who had been chasing him. He smirked.
“Chasing is fun, huh? Now it’s your turn.”
He charged toward them directly. The melee fighters had been enjoying the chase, but as soon as they saw Wu Shaochen turn and rush at them, they immediately tried to escape. They didn’t dare to fight him; after all, even the damage dealers weren’t hurting him, let alone them. Wu Shaochen once again pursued a group of melee fighters, turning what had been a large-scale PK into a cat-and-mouse game.
Like a harvesting machine, Wu Shaochen kept cutting through the guild members. The leaders of the Ao Ji Tian Xia guild were helpless. With his incredibly high defense, terrifying speed, and ridiculously high damage, Wu Shaochen was an unbeatable existence. The several hundred guild members couldn’t even get a single hit in because his gear also had life-steal properties.
“Boss, what should we do?” Ao Ji Jue Qing asked in a bit of a panic. They never expected this situation. It had only been three days since the server launched, and someone was already defeating hundreds by themselves.
“We screwed up this time. We didn’t anticipate his strength had reached this level. Our gear is too poor to even break his defense. Let’s retreat for now. We’ll have our people focus on upgrading gear and leveling up. I don’t believe one person can turn the world upside down,” Ao Ji Tian Xia said angrily.
“Got it.” Ao Ji Jue Qing replied, then issued the retreat order.
As Ao Ji Tian Xia’s people retreated, the onlookers erupted in boos, making Ao Ji Tian Xia’s group even more embarrassed. This loss would have a huge impact on their guild.
“Trying to run? I don’t think I agreed to that,” Wu Shaochen sneered. He wouldn’t let them get away so easily.
He abandoned the shield warriors he had been chasing and went straight after the leaders of Ao Ji Tian Xia. When Ao Ji Tian Xia saw Wu Shaochen charging at him, panic appeared on his face. After all, the death penalty from the Divine Judgment was severe.
But trying to escape was clearly impossible. Wu Shaochen’s speed was multiple times faster than theirs, and they couldn’t afford to lose face in front of their subordinates.
“Barbaric Charge!”
Ao Ji Tian Xia directly used the skill to charge at Wu Shaochen, and Wu Shaochen, seemingly unprepared, took the full hit.

Then, he was stunned for one second. “Damn, this guy’s attack is pretty high,” Wu Shaochen thought. Naturally, it wasn’t that he couldn’t avoid it. He was familiar with the skill and knew Ao Ji Tian Xia’s abilities, so he didn’t dodge on purpose. He was waiting for Ao Ji Tian Xia to turn gray, so he could kill him without increasing his evil points or penalty.

While Wu Shaochen was stunned, Ao Ji Tian Xia quickly used another skill, one clearly stronger than Barbaric Charge.
“Boss is mighty!” Ao Ji Tian Xia’s subordinates cheered as they saw Wu Shaochen’s Dust Sealed lose over 700 health points, making them feel a bit hopeful.
However, their cheering was short-lived. They soon realized that despite the over 700 health lost, Wu Shaochen’s health bar barely budged. For him, it was a negligible amount.
One second later, Wu Shaochen broke free from the stun, and with two swift dagger strikes, he replenished most of the health he had lost. Ao Ji Tian Xia, however, was reduced to white light.

“Not great luck. With just a 5% critical hit rate, and you still manage to trigger it… impressive,” Wu Shaochen mused.
He then turned to the remaining four high-ranking members of Ao Ji Tian Xia, who were also now gray names. Without hesitation, Wu Shaochen dispatched them in a few more strikes. As he looted the black iron and bronze gear they dropped, he smiled.
“Finally some decent loot. Looks like I should focus on killing BOSSes for gear and leaders for rewards.”
Turning around, Wu Shaochen noticed the remaining members of Ao Ji Tian Xia had fled. Only a group of stunned bystanders remained in place, shocked by what they had just witnessed.
Wu Shaochen couldn’t be bothered to chase after the fleeing low-level players; their gear was too poor to be worth his time. He turned and left.
“He’s amazing! One man takes on an entire guild!”
“That was a total massacre!”
“Ha, so satisfying. Ao Ji Tian Xia finally got what was coming to them.”
“Dust Sealed is the best, long live Dust Sealed! I’m now a loyal fan!”
“Me too, haha! I recorded the video, I’ve got to upload this. It’s going viral for sure.”
“I recorded it too, uploading right now. This is insane!”
Meanwhile, in the crowd, Su Muxue, who had been observing from afar, gazed at Wu Shaochen’s retreating figure. Her eyes gleamed with an unspoken emotion. Though they often quarreled and occasionally chatted, this was the first time she had seen him fight. “He really is incredible.”
But then, Su Muxue shook her head and thought, “But in the end, it’s just a game.”
At that moment, an announcement echoed throughout the region.
Ao Ji Tian Xia: “Dust Sealed, we’ll never stop until we take you down!”
Wu Shaochen, still on the road, rubbed his nose and thought, “So rich.” After all, each region-wide message cost 10 gold coins—about 10,000 yuan. He wasn’t willing to spend that, so he didn’t bother responding.
As he continued walking, Wu Shaochen took out the five black iron pieces and two bronze items he had just looted. Two of the black iron items were the Bear King gear he sold, and the other three were low-tier black iron. One of the bronze items was the Black Bear King Armor he had sold for 180,000, and the other was a weapon likely dropped by the Silver Wolf King.
After checking the auction house, Wu Shaochen saw that black iron gear prices had dropped to 20,000–30,000 coins. Not wanting to waste time, he put them up for sale at 20,000 each, the two bronze items at 150,000 for the armor and 100,000 for the weapon. He was confident they would sell.
Sure enough, a few hours later, all the items sold, and 315,000 gold coins were deposited into his account. Wu Shaochen’s mood instantly brightened. “Good man, these items are like double profits.”
Meanwhile, the forum was ablaze once again…
