First, let’s take a look at two pieces of golden equipment…

Looking at the Tiger Head Greatsword, Wu Shaochen was stunned. This weapon perfectly demonstrates the concept of damage. Wu Shaochen couldn’t bear to sell it, thinking, “Why isn’t this equipment for Assassins? If a warrior gets their hands on it, the damage would soar to the heavens. If I sell it, the price would probably break a new high.”
Luckily, one of the two pieces of golden equipment was something he could use. Out of the four silver-tier pieces, one was for him, two were for Wu Ziyin, and the last one could only be auctioned.

Wu Shaochen could use the leggings, and since he already had the Blood Cow Belt, he wasn’t interested in the Tiger Leather Belt. Fortunately, Wu Ziyin could use it. The remaining piece of Tiger Leather Armor was for Shield Soldiers and Warriors, so neither could use it. The five bronze-tier pieces had two that Wu Ziyin could use, which he gave to her, and the rest were to be auctioned.
He listed three bronze pieces for auction at 100,000 each. These were level 30 pieces, and their attributes were almost on par with 20-level silver-tier items, so they would definitely sell.
The Silver Armor would be auctioned for 30 minutes. The Newbie Village auction mode lasted 10 minutes, while the Auction City mode lasted up to 30 minutes. Any longer would incur extra fees. He decided to hold off on listing the Tiger Head Greatsword for now, as listing everything together would lower the prices of the silver-tier items like last time.
Wu Shaochen continued to review his bag. He found a potion that wasn’t the unsealing potion he was hoping for but a [Damage Potion] that boosts damage by 50% for 10 minutes. While useful for others, it wasn’t particularly great for him since it didn’t enhance poison damage. However, what surprised him was the scroll.
[Skill Scroll]: Enhances the quality of a specified skill. Each skill can be improved up to three times.
“Skill quality?” Wu Shaochen was puzzled. “Do skills in this game even have qualities? They all seem the same, don’t they?” But soon, he recalled the skeleton assassin he had encountered earlier. Its Backstab was stronger than his own.
“Could this be what they mean by different skill qualities?” he wondered. However, Wu Shaochen still didn’t know how to check skill quality. The only skill he had with a different appearance was Immortal Body, which was golden, while others were all the same color.
“Let’s try it and see,” Wu Shaochen thought as he chose to use the scroll on Immortal Body.
System message: “Current skill quality is at the highest level, cannot be used.”
Wu Shaochen had expected this because other skills didn’t have any color, while Immortal Body was golden. He was just testing his hypothesis.
Aside from Immortal Body, his next strongest skill was Void. Wu Shaochen selected it and used the scroll.
System message: “Use successful. Skill [Void] quality has been upgraded.”
Wu Shaochen quickly checked the skill:
[Void]: Clears all negative effects, enters a void space making the body untargetable for 1.5 seconds. Mana Cost: 150, Cooldown: 4 minutes.
The duration increased, the cooldown decreased, and the mana cost increased by 50, making it a significant upgrade. Wu Shaochen was very pleased with the result.
Next, he checked the fruit in his bag. It was a Strength Fruit, which would increase his Strength by 10. While not critical for him at the moment, Wu Shaochen ate it since he didn’t need the money anymore and preferred to have more attribute-boosting fruits.
The remaining items included a gem and a crystal. The gem could be embedded into weapons to increase Strength by 100, and he’d need to visit the weapon shop’s boss to get it socketed. As for the crystal, it puzzled Wu Shaochen.

“This must be something special. Even the system can’t identify it,” Wu Shaochen thought as he placed it back in his bag. After reviewing everything, he felt quite satisfied. It was time to bring the sealers to seal the portal.
When he arrived, the sealers were discussing whether to seal Liu Family Village. Wu Shaochen almost poisoned one of them out of anger, but he forced them to follow him to the sealing site.
When they saw the giant corpse of the Tiger King, they finally settled down. The one who had been the loudest earlier was now silent, clearly afraid Wu Shaochen would hold a grudge.
Wu Shaochen led them into the depths of the cave. When they saw the sealing formation, the sealers, who had appeared useless before, suddenly became serious and started preparing their materials.
“They actually know what they’re doing,” Wu Shaochen thought, then turned to leave. He didn’t understand the formation, and staying there wouldn’t help.
Just as he turned, he felt like something was watching him. He quickly looked around but saw nothing.
“Just my imagination,” Wu Shaochen thought, laughing at himself. “I’ve become paranoid.”
While waiting outside, the system message indicated that the [Tiger Leather Armor] had been sold at auction for 280,000, setting a new record for silver-tier armor.
Wu Shaochen had been waiting outside for over ten minutes when the sealers finally emerged, looking exhausted.
“Did it succeed?” Wu Shaochen asked.
“It should be fine,” said the lead sealer.
“Should be?” Wu Shaochen frowned. “Why are you saying ‘should be’? It’s such an important task, and you’re telling me ‘should be’?” He was very displeased but decided it wasn’t his concern. As long as the mission was complete, he’d be fine with it.
“Let’s go!” Wu Shaochen said, pulling out a City Scroll. However, the lead sealer stopped him.
“You’ll need to escort us to Jinling City.”
“Don’t you know your way? With all the soldiers protecting you, what’s there to be afraid of?” Wu Shaochen grumbled, then immediately used the City Scroll.
System message: “Quest in progress, cannot use City Scroll.”
“Damn it! How many times has this happened? Are they not going to let me make money off the scroll?” Wu Shaochen grumbled.
He handed the scroll to Wu Ziyin and said, “Ziyin, try using the City Scroll.”
“Okay,” Wu Ziyin replied and successfully used the City Scroll despite Wu Shaochen’s frustration.
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Wu Shaochen muttered, realizing his speed was being targeted. He reluctantly led the sealers to Jinling City, and to his greater annoyance, their pace was incredibly slow, taking an hour and a half to get there.
