Lingquan Space: Fortunate Wife of a Farmer’s Family Chapter 613

Chapter 613: Does Qing Yukong Know?

Wang Jinhe patted her forehead from behind. “It’s really boring when things like this happen.”

“Gu Xiruo is too ruthless. She probably won’t let it go,” Wang Jinhe said, eyeing Lu Lingfeng up and down. “You should be more concerned about yourself. If Gu Xiruo finds out your relationship with the prince of Qi Empire, do you think she will leave you alone?”

Lu Lingfeng suddenly felt disgusted. What was going on here?

“I’ve said what I needed to say, Your Highness. I’ll take my leave,” he said, and then left.

Watching Lu Lingfeng’s retreating figure, Wang Jinhe couldn’t help but laugh. His overly arrogant demeanor almost tripped him up.

Was the King Yu Consort really that mischievous?

But thinking about the possibility mentioned by the King Yu Consort, Lu Lingfeng  frowned, his eyes filled with displeasure towards Gu Xiruo.

He had been blind before, but now he needed to be more vigilant to avoid being manipulated.

“Su Yu, I suddenly find this Lu Lingfeng quite interesting. Did I gross him out with what I said?” Wang Jinhe innocently asked Su Yu, then couldn’t help but laugh again.

Watching Wang Jinhe’s triumphant laughter, Su Yu shook his head with a smile. “You, always bullying people.”

“He did try to snatch the Xie family’s shop from me before. This is just a small lesson,” Wang Jinhe said matter-of-factly.

Su Yu hadn’t expected Wang Jinhe to hold a grudge over this matter until now. “Xiao He, aren’t you holding a grudge too much?” Su Yu asked, feeling both amused and exasperated.

Wang Jinhe raised an eyebrow at Su Yu. “Of course. Don’t you know that women hold grudges?”

“Now I know,” Su Yu replied.

Wang Jinhe didn’t mind. Instead, she pondered thoughtfully, stroking her chin. “Husband, should we play a trick on Lu Lingfeng again?”

Su Yu looked at Wang Jinhe helplessly. “Xiao He, he’s on our side now. Is it really right to treat our own people this way?”

“It’s fine. I think it’s quite good. Besides, we’re not trying to harm him. We’re just giving him something to do, keeping him busy so he remembers this lesson. Don’t you think so?” Wang Jinhe asked with a mischievous smile.

“Alright, I’ll go along with your plan.” It would be good to keep her occupied with something before she came looking for trouble later.

Gu Xiruo looked at Qing Yukong in astonishment. “What did you just say?”

“I just received news that Lu Lingfeng is actually the son of the Prince of Qi Empire,” Qing Yukong said with a sigh.

Gu Xiruo bit her finger, unable to believe it was true.

“How is that possible? He never mentioned it before,” she said. She had known Lu Lingfeng for so many years and had never heard him mention this.

Qing Yukong didn’t find it surprising. “Isn’t it normal? After all, he can’t just go around telling people that he’s the son of the prince of Qi, can he? Besides, even if he did say it, I doubt many people would believe him.”

Gu Xiruo still couldn’t accept this fact. If she had known about Lu Lingfeng’s identity earlier, she wouldn’t have agreed to the marriage arrangement with Qing Yukong and married Lu Lingfeng.

Seeing Gu Xiruo’s expression, Qing Yukong asked in a puzzled tone, “Xiruo, what’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”

Gu Xiruo revealed a smile that was not quite genuine and looked at Qing Yukong with a somewhat disappointed expression. “What did I do to deserve this? Why didn’t he tell me about this?”

“Have I been unkind to him, apart from the matter of saving his life?” Gu Xiruo gritted her teeth.

Even if Qing Yukong was a bit clueless, he understood what Gu Xiruo meant.

Seeing Gu Xiruo’s frustrated expression, Qing Yukong’s face turned somewhat grim. “After learning about Lu Lingfeng’s identity, do you regret marrying me?”

Hearing the ominous tone in Qing Yukong’s voice, Gu Xiruo knew he was angry.

“How could I? I’m already married to you. Why would I regret it? I just feel that Lu Lingfeng has never truly trusted me, and you have always been the best to me,” Gu Xiruo said, reaching out to cuddle Qing Yukong and speaking in a coquettish tone.

Qing Yukong looked down at the top of Gu Xiruo’s head, remaining silent. He didn’t know if Gu Xiruo’s words were genuine or not.

“Is that so?”

“Of course. How could I regret it when you’ve been so good to me?” Gu Xiruo flashed a smile at Qing Yukong.

Qing Yukong reached out to touch Gu Xiruo’s face, and his expression gradually softened. “Xiruo, remember what you said. Don’t deceive me. You can’t bear the consequences.”

Gu Xiruo shuddered, feeling that Qing Yukong was somewhat intimidating at this moment.

“Husband, what’s wrong with you?”

Qing Yukong shook his head with a smile. “I’m fine. I’m just reminding you not to do anything to make me angry. Otherwise, both you and I will regret it.”

Gu Xiruo furrowed her brow slightly. The current Qing Yukong felt too dangerous to her. She couldn’t afford to provoke him now, and as for Lu Lingfeng, she wouldn’t let things slide with him either.

Gu Xiruo had been waiting for this opportunity since learning the news.

When Qing Yukong had to leave for a business trip for a couple of days, she finally found her chance.

Not long after Qing Yukong left, Gu Xiruo couldn’t wait to go find Lu Lingfeng.

Lu Lingfeng found himself cornered by Gu Xiruo in a private room at the restaurant, and he looked at her with a hint of disgust.

“What are you doing here?” he asked.

Gu Xiruo stared at Lu Lingfeng intently. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Lu Lingfeng replied impatiently.

He had intended to have a meal with friends today, but encountering Gu Xiruo was truly unfortunate.

Gu Xiruo’s angry voice filled the room. “You want to keep it from me? Why didn’t you tell me that you are the son of the prince of Qi?”

Lu Lingfeng hadn’t expected Gu Xiruo to find out about this.

Thinking about what Wang Jinhe had told him, Lu Lingfeng furrowed his brow, feeling like he had been manipulated and that the person behind it was someone he couldn’t afford to provoke.

“What does this have to do with you?” he asked.

“You are too much. You knew what I wanted, yet you treated me this way. In the end, you watched me marry Qing Yukong,” Gu Xiruo’s mind was now filled with thoughts of Lu Lingfeng’s identity, completely forgetting Qing Yukong’s warning.

Lu Lingfeng didn’t want to engage in further conversation with Gu Xiruo and prepared to leave for home.

“Lu Lingfeng, stop right there. You won’t leave until you explain things to me today. Have you ever liked me?” Gu Xiruo wanted a clear answer now.

“I have always liked my savior, but she has found someone she likes, and I won’t interfere. I wish her happiness. As for you, I never have,” he said. His kindness to Gu Xiruo had always been for Gu Xiling, not for Gu Xiruo herself.

After losing the halo of being his savior, Lu Lingfeng realized that Gu Xiruo was truly difficult to deal with.

“Does Qing Yukong know that you are asking me these questions?”
