“This is it.” Ito Keisuke pushed him toward a wooden box placed on the laboratory table.

“Quick, bring it here, let me see.” Upon seeing the box, Tanaka Ichiro’s gaze grew even more intense, as if he were looking at a woman instead of a box.

“Li, why aren’t you angry? How can you stay so calm after hearing this?” She asked, genuinely curious.

Unlike herself, who felt like rushing to R country to beat those people up.

Li Yiyi smiled gently and replied, “Director Jiang, I understand your feelings. If I didn’t know the purpose of this pill, I might have reacted just like you.”

Jiang Linglan’s eyes widened, and she leaned in curiously, “Li, what did you mean by that? I don’t quite understand. You know what the pill is for now? Did you figure it out?”

Li Yiyi smiled happily, replying, “Director Jiang, I must not have told you what this pill is for yet.”

Jiang Linglan, now with wide, curious eyes, shook her head eagerly. “No, you haven’t said anything to me yet. Li, did you find out what it’s used for?”

At this point, she stared at Li Yiyi intently, especially her smile, which seemed to carry a hint of schadenfreude.
