Chapter 14: Thankfully, the Things Came Along
Yun Laotai washed up and glanced at the courtyard, and suddenly felt like the sky was falling.
She went to Yun Lao Si and twisted his ear, kicking his butt twice.
“You idiot, what day is it today, and you’re still telling stories to these kids.
Go, go, go, your wife must be waiting in the room for a long time, you useless bastard.”
Yun Lao Si heard his mother say this, slapped his head, and went to the room he had tidied up.
Yun Nian’an sat aside, thinking about the stories Yun Lao Si told, she felt like they were either about a scholar meeting a rich girl, or an old Taoist coming down the mountain to take on a disciple.
Or else it was a fairy from heaven descending to earth, the stories were short, but they weren’t interesting.
She thought, could she make up stories from her own mind and sell them as storybooks?
The Yun family’s boys were used to their sister’s absent-minded look.
Their sister had been silly for so many years, they were used to her being quiet at home.
So no one bothered Yun Nian’an when she was lost in thought.
Ye Chuhe called Yun Nian’an to go to bed, and Yun Nian’an nodded and went to her room.
When she got to the room, she saw that her mother had already lit a candle for her.
“Mom, I see that you don’t have any candles in your room, it’s getting dark now, why don’t you take one to your room?”
Ye Chuhe heard her daughter say this and quickly shook her head, “Oh my, we don’t need it.
Your father and I go to bed early, I’ll just rest in my room.
If you can’t sleep, light the candle, and if you’re sleepy, remember to blow it out.”
Yun Nian’an nodded quickly, her heart feeling warm.
There weren’t many candles in the house, and Yun Laotai had locked them in her room, only when it came to her daughter, Yun Laotai would generously give her some.
She was afraid that she would be afraid of the dark at night, and the tinder was placed on the table beside her.
Yun Nian’an looked at the bare walls of her home, but they were all thinking of her, this family was so lovable.
Soon, she fell asleep in a daze.
In the middle of the night
Yun Nian’an sat up from the bed, her stomach rumbling, and she slipped into the space.
The space was her ability from her previous life, and she had stored some things in it.
She started rummaging through it, first finding a bag of spicy strips and opening it, then she took a bottle of mineral water from the side and sat in the space to eat.
She thought about whether the two spaces could be combined, and after she left the space, she sat on the bed and meditated.
She tried to use her mind to see if she could combine the two spaces.
Gradually, the two spaces began to merge slowly, and Yun Nian’an saw that the space was bigger than the sum of the two original spaces.
She had felt it before, she always felt that the two spaces could be merged together, and now it was true.
The Lao Yun family’s life was really too hard, they all ate black steamed buns, the black flour was made from something, it was very difficult to swallow.
In her previous life, she often ate coarse grains to lose weight.
Although coarse grains were a bit rough, they were still okay, but these things in ancient times were really spicy and hard to swallow.
She thought that she had to improve the lives of the villagers, so the next morning, Yun Nian’an quietly went up the mountain.
She passed by the old hunter by the mountain and greeted her, “Nian’an, are you going for a walk on the mountain?”
Yun Nian’an heard the hunter say this and quickly nodded, “Just taking a walk.”
Lin the hunter heard Yun Nian’an say this and nodded.
He shouted to Yun Nian’an, “Don’t go too far in, there are some wild boars and the like in there, don’t get hurt.”
Yun Nian’an nodded quickly, “Uncle Lin, I know, I won’t go in.”
The old hunter nodded and went back to the house.
As soon as he got back, he saw his youngest son staring at him with big eyes.
“Dad, who were you talking to outside?”
The old hunter chuckled, “Who else could it be? It’s the little girl from the Lao Yun family!
The one whose grandma brought her here last time and gave us eggs.”
Lin Yuan nodded, thinking that there weren’t many families in the village who liked them.
Only the Lao Yun family and a few other families were okay.
It was because he heard that the Lao Yun family’s daughter had fallen into the river.
There were many people gathered by the river at the time, but no one dared to go down and save her.
He went down and pulled the little girl up, he didn’t want the Lao Yun family to repay them, but unexpectedly, Yun Laotai was a grateful person.
Times were hard, and she gave them several eggs!
If they took these eggs to the market and exchanged them for black flour, they could get a lot.
So Lin Yuan had a good impression of the Lao Yun family. The old hunter started to bandage his leg and said to Lin Yuan, “Wild boars have been coming out to the outskirts of the forest recently.
I have to go in and take a look, the little girl from the Yun family might go too far and be bumped into by a wild boar or something.”
Lin Yuan heard his father say this and shook his head, “Dad, you stay at home and rest! You just came back, I’ll go and take a look.”
The old hunter nodded when he heard his son say this, “Go by yourself, but be careful.”
Lin Yuan nodded, took his bow and arrow, and went out.
The old hunter wasn’t worried about his son, although Lin Yuan was only 14 years old, he was very skilled.
Yun Nian’an used her wood ability to sense the vitality of the forest, and she couldn’t help but feel comfortable.
In the apocalypse, this kind of vitality was long gone, after being polluted and because of the disaster, the city was destroyed, even the countryside was affected.
For several years, there was no food, all the people relied on nutrient solution, and the nutrient solution was all extracted from those cultivated plants.
It tasted bad, but the key was that it was expensive and not very filling.
They, the ability users, were constantly fighting zombies outside, and the money they earned was just enough to eat.
No one knew about her space, so the supplies she had stored in the space were originally meant to last her a lifetime.
Unexpectedly, she had transmigrated, and before she transmigrated, she had dealt with the zombie king.
Even without her, it wouldn’t be long before order was restored.
Especially since they heard that the vaccine for the zombie virus had been developed, but it couldn’t be mass-produced yet.
Yun Nian’an thought about the past, and then she thought about the great dynasty, although she had transmigrated into a little fool, the Lao Yun family was poor, but they were warm!
She was living a relaxed, happy, and carefree life here, the most important thing was that this body was only ten years old, she had a long life ahead of her.
Just then, Yun Nian’an was still thinking about things, when there was some movement in the sparse grass not far away.
Yun Nian’an walked forward, and a mini pistol appeared in her hand.
The space was full of weapons, they, the ability users, not only had amazing abilities, but the country also gave them a lot of weapons!
Especially for those who were like her, a big shot, they had even more weapons.
Those people basically kept them at home, but Yun Nian’an had a space, and all the things in her house were in the space.
Now that she had transmigrated to ancient times, all the things in the space had come with her.
Now that she thought about it, she felt heartbroken.
