The Aloof Beauty Who Knows How to Act Spoiled Chapter 19

Chapter 19: Lu Tingshen Proves That Old Bulls Can Eat Tender Grass.

Lu Tingshen glanced at his wristwatch; the hands pointed to six o’clock.

He reached out to shut down his computer, casually picked up his suit jacket, and walked out of the office.

As he passed the secretary’s office, he reminded them, “No overtime today.”

With that, he strode out.

The secretaries watched their boss’s retreating figure in surprise, never expecting the workaholic President Lu to leave on time.

Something was off, very off.

Lu Tingshen didn’t care what they thought; he was on his way to pick up his boyfriend from school.

Ji Jinbai had just finished packing when he received a message from Lu Tingshen, saying he was already at the school gate.

He grabbed a suitcase and headed downstairs, bringing along a few everyday clothes and some daily necessities.

At the school gate, he spotted the conspicuous silver G-Wagon in the distance and smiled as he dragged his suitcase toward it.

The man saw him and stepped out of the car, taking the suitcase and placing it in the trunk.

Ji Jinbai sat in the back seat, glancing around the car’s interior, nodding in approval.

“This car is nice.”

Lu Tingshen, noticing his apparent interest in the G-Wagon, generously said, “You like it? I’ll give it to you.”

Ji Jinbai turned to him in surprise. A car worth millions, just like that?

He immediately declined without hesitation.

“I just think it looks good, but I don’t particularly like it. I don’t drive much, so I wouldn’t use it anyway.”

“Such an expensive car, and President Lu just offers it like that. You’re really generous.”

Ji Jinbai played with his fingers, teasing him with a smirk.

Lu Tingshen pinched his cheek.

“If you don’t like this one, we can go to the garage later and pick one you do like. Just let me know which one catches your eye.”

Ji Jinbai hugged his arm and leaned on his shoulder.

Who gives their partner a car right at the start of a relationship? Only someone as wealthy as President Lu, he thought.

Lu Tingshen gently stroked his head, looking at him tenderly, and promised, “Whatever I have, I want to give it to you. You’re mine, and you deserve the best.”

Ji Jinbai was taken aback by his words, feeling a stir in his heart.

He looked up at the man, gripping his hand tightly.

With a hint of dejection, he whispered, “But I don’t think I have anything to give you. You already have everything I could offer.”

Lu Tingshen lifted his delicate face, his thumb gently brushing the corner of his eye.

“How can you say that? Didn’t you already give yourself to me? That’s all I need.”

Ji Jinbai hugged him, nuzzling his neck, his ears slightly red with embarrassment.

“Alright, sit still and behave.”

Hearing his words, Ji Jinbai obediently sat on his lap, no longer fidgeting.

Glancing out the window, he noticed they weren’t heading back to the apartment and looked up to ask, “Aren’t we going home?”

In such a short time, Ji Jinbai had already naturally started calling that place home.

“We’ll eat first.”

“Okay.”

After parking the car, Lu Tingshen gently patted his cheek.

“We’re here, let’s go.”

Ji Jinbai followed the man out of the car, their fingers intertwined as they walked hand in hand.

Following behind him, it felt like a parent leading a child.

The restaurant manager was already waiting outside. Seeing the two holding hands as they got out of the car, he was surprised but didn’t dare comment, immediately stepping forward to greet them respectfully.

“Hello, Mr. Lu, everything is ready. Shall we go up now?”

“Hmm, where’s your boss?”

“The boss is handling some matters and will be here shortly,” Manager Li hurriedly replied.

Ji Jinbai gently nudged his arm. Lu Tingshen glanced down at him and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze.

“Bringing you here for a meal.”

Only then did Manager Li notice the young man standing beside the man. His demeanor was cool and composed, exuding an air of elegance and nobility.

The two seemed to share a special relationship, but matters concerning such important figures were not for him to pry into. He averted his gaze.

The three of them took the elevator to the third floor.

The restaurant, named Jiangnan Riverside, stood by the riverbank, offering not only exquisite cuisine but also a stunning view of the night scenery along the river.

The entire ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with elegant and cozy decor, perfect for a romantic dinner for couples.

Fresh roses were placed in glass vases on each table.

The soft yellow lighting, paired with the fresh flowers, created a romantic atmosphere.

The restaurant manager led them to the third floor and then left.

After the manager departed, Ji Jinbai softly asked the man, “Are you close with the owner here?”

Lu Tingshen gently smoothed his wind-tousled hair and affectionately ruffled it.

“He’s a friend of mine. I’ll introduce you later.”

“Hey, don’t mess up my hair. It’ll stunt my growth.”

Lu Tingshen chuckled softly, pulling him closer.

“Isn’t 1.8 meters tall enough for you, little one? Be good, I’ll make you some milk when we get back.”

Ji Jinbai playfully pushed him away. “You’re so annoying~ Are you treating me like a child?”

“In my eyes, you are a little kid,” Lu Tingshen whispered tenderly into his ear.

Ji Jinbai covered his ears and pouted, “Hmph~ Old man.”

Lu Tingshen’s eyes darkened as he pinched his cheek. “Old man, huh? Let’s see if you still say that later…”

Before he could finish, a teasing voice interrupted them. “Oops, bad timing. Pretend I wasn’t here. Carry on.”

Shen Ye stood not far from them, a mischievous grin on his face.

It was the first time he had seen their Lu Ge (Brother Lu) being so affectionate. Who knew the man could be like this when in love?

It was quite a sight. If the other guys saw this, they’d be shocked.

Hearing the unfamiliar voice, Ji Jinbai quickly stepped out of Lu Tingshen’s embrace and stood properly.

Lu Tingshen glanced at Shen Ye coolly. “Enjoying the show?”

“Ahem, just curious. Lu Ge, aren’t you going to introduce us?”

“Ji Jinbai, my little one.”

Lu Tingshen pointed at Shen Ye and said to Ji Jinbai,

“Shen Ye, my childhood friend and the owner of this restaurant.”

Shen Ye observed the young man’s cool and elegant demeanor. He looked so young. Where did Lu Ge find such a beauty?

Tsk tsk tsk, an old cow eating tender grass. Only Lu Tingshen could pull this off.

“Hello, I’m Ji Jinbai. Nice to meet you.”

“Little Madam, nice to meet you. This is the first time he’s brought someone here for dinner.”

Hearing the term “Little Madam,” Ji Jinbai shyly glanced up at Lu Tingshen.

The man leaned down and whispered in his ear, “He’s not wrong. Why are you blushing?”

Ji Jinbai shot him a playful glare.

“By the way, if I may ask, are you still in school, Little Madam?”

“Yes, I’m a sophomore this year.”

Shen Ye knew he was young, but not this young. He’s only 19!

Seeing Shen Ye’s wide-eyed expression of surprise, it inexplicably amused him.

“Little Madam, please stop smiling at me. Brother Lu’s gaze is about to devour me,” Shen Ye teased.

Looking at Lu Tingshen’s profound gaze, he hadn’t realized how possessive Lu Tingshen could be.

Ji Jinbai hadn’t expected the other person to have such a lively personality.

He glanced up at Lu Tingshen.

His eyes met the man’s, and Ji Jinbai gave him a sweet smile.
