Don’t Eat Wild Mushrooms Randomly
A giant eagle with a white body, wings as long as three or five people, and sharp beak and claws peeked out from its nest built on a cliff.
It found that several cultivators were flying higher than its nest, and the majesty of the bird of prey was suddenly challenged. It flapped its wings twice, its eagle eyes were fierce, and it flew towards the sword riders with a fierce momentum.
The cultivators who were walking hard in the jungle below naturally saw the giant eagle flying over their heads chasing the three reckless sword riders, and they cried out in panic.
Shen Leyan was awakened from his meditation by someone tapping his shoulder. After his five senses became clear, he first smelled a gust of fishy wind, and then saw a giant eagle chasing their swords from behind, as if it regarded them as prey.
“There really is a flying monster that dares to chase us…”
Shen Leyan gestured at the giant eagle and criticized.
“The feathers of this eagle are too long. It will be troublesome to scald them with hot water. There is not much meat but the wings and legs should be delicious. I remember we brought seasonings. We can make a pot of red roasted eagle.”
Lu Yuanyi nodded: “Okay.”
Zheng Ziheng: “Junior brother, you just ate so many melon seeds. Can you still eat more?”
The giant eagle has cultivated intelligence and has robbed many cultivators before. Some of them even became delicious meals for it.
This is the first time that a cultivator is not panicked when facing its pursuit. He is leisurely pointing and discussing what to make delicious from various parts of its body.
The giant eagle was furious. The feathers on its head stood up. A pair of sharp claws aimed at the neck of the cub who said that he would make it into a red roasted eagle and grabbed it fiercely.
Shen Leyan had just been meditating on the sword and felt some of the experience of the fight just now.
After his hands formed seals and a flash of green spiritual power appeared, an upward airflow suddenly surged from the wings on one side of the giant eagle, and the giant eagle’s gliding balance was suddenly broken.
Like a kite with a broken string, it turned twice in the air before shakily regaining its balance.
The giant eagle let out an angry cry.
Lu Yuanyi glanced at the magic formula in his hand: “You’ve improved a little.”
The giant eagle became even more angry, and the leaves below made a “rustling” sound when its wings flapped.
Half an hour later, the fragrant smell of red roasted eagle wafted out of the southwest jungle.
The firewood pile was burning fiercely, and only half of the eagle meat was stewed in the iron pot, mainly because the eagle was so big that it couldn’t be stewed in one pot. The eagle meat had been cooked to the bone, with an attractive sauce color and shiny oil.
Shen Leyan used a branch to stick an eagle leg and gnawed it with relish. There was some red sauce on the corners of his mouth.
“We should be close to the center of the southwest jungle. Will we attract other monsters if we make a fire and grill meat here?”
Lu Yuanyi shrank the Jiang Xue Sword to the size of a dagger and cut the remaining uncooked giant eagle.
“You can’t eat other monsters for the time being.”
Shen Leyan: “… What I mean is, Master Lu, don’t go on missions with the sect disciples next time, otherwise there will be no challenge at all, which is not conducive to the sect disciples to be self-reliant and self-reliant and create more glory.”
“You…”
“Of course! An outer disciple like me who can only earn some money for the sect doesn’t need to challenge or be self-reliant.” Shen Leyan immediately reacted and laughed dryly, “This eagle leg is delicious. Master Lu, would you like to try it?”
The weather in the southwest jungle is unpredictable.
When they were eating, the sky was still clear, but when they finished cleaning the pot, extinguished the fire and prepared to fly on the sword, the sky darkened, and there was a faint shadow of lightning in the thick dark clouds.
It is not very comfortable to fly a sword when it rains. Although you can use spiritual power to block the rain, the vision is not clear on rainy days. You can’t see the scenery of the jungle below from the sky, and you may miss the green blood snake grass they are looking for.
The green blood snake grass grows only once a hundred years, and it has an excellent effect on dementia caused by damaged souls. Brother Zheng came here to pick the green blood snake grass to take it back to treat his brother who has been mentally retarded since childhood.
Shen Leyan stayed beside Lu Yuanyi, and the two of them were quietly waiting for Zheng Ziheng to look at the map.
“It’s less than five miles away from the place where we found the green blood snake grass last time. Since it’s inconvenient to fly a sword in the rain, let’s walk there?”
Several people built a layer of spiritual power barrier around them to prevent rain, and continued to walk towards the center of the southwest jungle.
The mountain road was slippery and not easy to walk. The grass and leaves were lush on the ground, and the occasional small swamps were not easy to find.
Shen Leyan walked at the end, holding onto the tree trunk beside him with one hand to prevent himself from slipping.
“There are many different wild mushrooms here…”
Maybe it’s because the jungle is sparsely populated, but the wild mushrooms growing near rocks and under trees here are particularly thriving. Each one is as big as a palm and as tall as an arm, and some even form a large patch.
Blue, red, yellow, green and colorful, after being watered by the rain, they are bright and colorful.
Zheng Ziheng probably saw that he was walking crookedly, so he handed his sleeve to him and motioned him to grab it: “Do you want to pick some wild mushrooms to take back? Most of these wild mushrooms are poisonous and can’t be eaten.”
“Brother Zheng, can you recognize which ones are edible and which ones are not?”
Zheng Ziheng shook his head.
Shen Leyan cast his hopeful eyes on Lu Yuanyi again.
Lu Yuanyi waved his hand and exerted a spiritual power to pull his feet out of the mud pit.
“People who cultivate don’t care about the desire for food.”
Shen Leyan: “…”
[… Sect Master Lu, you just ate a roasted eagle leg. How credible do you think it is that people who cultivate don’t care about the desire for food? ]
Although he couldn’t tell whether these wild mushrooms were poisonous, he had asked about the price of wild mushrooms at the market outside the jungle.
One of this size costs one or two silver coins, which is not enough for a pot of hot pot. If you ask others to buy it, it’s really not cost-effective.
“If I had known, it would be better to keep the giant eagle to taste the wild mushrooms to see if they are poisonous.” Shen Leyan regretted, “Or… I will taste it myself?”
With Lu Yuanyi’s cultivation, it shouldn’t be difficult to help him detoxify a wild mushroom.
He squatted down and picked a gray and plain-looking wild mushroom.
He washed it with rain water and carefully took a small bite.
Light, no taste.
“This one doesn’t seem to be poisonous… burp.”
Before Shen Leyan finished his sentence, his dark eyes suddenly became empty, and he recited mechanically.
“When the sun is high in the sky, sweat drips down to the ground… one plus one equals one, two plus two equals four, three plus three equals nine…”
Lu Yuanyi curled his lips, and a spiritual force slapped the boy’s back.
Shen Leyan vomited a few times and bravely grabbed the second wild mushroom.
This time he picked a bright red one.
After taking a bite, the boy foamed at the mouth and fell to the ground and kicked his legs.
Changed to white.
The boy danced hip-hop on the spot, spinning on the ground like a top.
Changed to green again and again.
The boy’s soft black hair glowed green little by little, and he kept muttering: “How dare you! Who dares to touch my precious hair, Shen·Long Aotian·Leyan——”
