The little zombie and the little yingyu pressed their heads together, blankly watching the nine-tailed fox in the flower, their little mouths all opened into “O” shapes.
Sui Han’s surprise was no less than theirs.
The boy’s dark eyes fell on the red figure atop the flower. The little fellow seemed completely unaware, sleeping soundly.
The little zombie stretched out a finger and quietly poked the nine-tailed fox.
The nine-tailed fox’s nine tails then spread out like fans, the soft, lustrous fur tinged with a faint red glow, gently falling to cover its little head.
The little fellow seemed very unhappy to be disturbed, and with another flip, directly sprawled onto the flower’s pistil.
After the tails moved aside, Sui Han saw that on the petal facing him, there seemed to be two small characters imprinted.
【欢欢】(Huan Huan) [Happy, Joyful]
It seemed this newborn nine-tailed fox’s name was “Huan Huan.”
It’s good to have a name, saving him, this naming-challenged person, from having to come up with one.
Sui Han thought he might as well put together a little numerical squad if he had to name it.
Big Banana and Erguotou have already been taken, so how about Three-Cup Chicken for the third one?
Nine-tailed fox: I thank your whole family. (sarcastic expression of annoyance)
The little zombie withdrew its little hand, and seeing the other using its tails to cover itself, it covered its little red cheeks and giggled, then mischievously went to poke it again.
The little Yingyu, however, flicked its tail and directly carried the little zombie away.
Until they woke up the next morning, the little zombie and the little Yingyu saw that blooming flower again, and then they knew they weren’t dreaming.
Sui Han understood that they were dreaming.
They just happened to wander into his dream.
Because deities receive prayers through dreams.
Sui Han came to the hall and found that the nine-tailed fox was already awake and was using its front paws to peek at him from behind the petals.
The boy sat down and carefully examined the new little fellow, discovering that this little fox’s appearance seemed different from that of other foxes.
It didn’t have a pointed chin; its lower jaw looked very round.
Its pure black eyes were also round, the inside of its upright fox ears, the paw pads of its four paws, and its soft belly were all snow-white, but its entire body was fiery red.
The red mark on its forehead was shaped like a swirl, slender and golden-red, like it was engraved, particularly eye-catching.
Sui Han stretched out his finger and beckoned to it. The little fox’s soft ears twitched, and with a “whoosh,” it leaped down from the petals.
As it landed, a fragrant breeze spread through the living room.
The blooming flower disappeared, and the little nest was gone entirely.
The little fox disregarded all of this. Its landing posture was extremely impressive and stylish, and its stance was very proper, resembling a tall and proud redwood.
This action directly stunned the little zombie sitting in its toy car.
Little zombie: Wow, so cool! 0.0
Little Yingyu: Tch, tch, tch -.-
The little Yingyu was more quick-witted than the little zombie, knowing that among the three of them, only Huan Huan could accompany the master to participate in the pet competition and record VLOGs.
It was a little envious and a little jealous.
Little Yingyu: Hmph, angry!
Sui Han saw how agile the palm-sized little fox’s movements were, and couldn’t help but praise it in his heart.
Huan Huan maintained its landing posture for a long time, proudly raised its head, and then pondered how to move its front paws.
It wanted to run to its master.
However, its walking movements weren’t as agile as its jumping; it seemed a little at a loss, as if it didn’t know which leg to move first.
“Thump—”
Having not walked two steps well, Huan Huan directly fell onto the floor, and its big tails drooped down.
Nine-tailed fox: So embarrassing!
Sui Han had thought that the deity’s spirit pets were all omnipotent; it seemed he had been thinking too much.
The boy proactively stood up, walked over, bent down, and scooped up the fox cub, gently stroking its fur to soothe it.
The nine-tailed fox perked up and struggled to stand firm in its master’s hand.
It exerted force with its two hind paws, raised its front paws high, and stood up with difficulty like a human.
And it touched its master with its soft little paw pads, and shook its two little ears to express its gratitude.
“Let’s go, let’s take care of business first.”
Sui Han still had to find time to look for that blue suit and how to help the masked man retrieve his soul.
It still needed to be explored.
The little fox stared straight at its master, then obediently nodded, burying its fluffy head into Sui Han’s shoulder and rubbing against him vigorously.
Its long tails came around and opened into the shape of a flower.
Like a peacock spreading its tail.
The little zombie “heh” could not restrain itself from jumping from the toy car and grabbing Sui Han’s trouser leg to climb up.
The little fox and the master were snuggling, and the little fox wanted to snuggle and be friends with the little fox.
The little Yingyu was a little more awkward than it, a little unaccustomed to the new companion, looking dejected and unwilling to come over, only secretly watching from the spot.
Seeing the zombie cub struggling to climb, Sui Han reached out and lifted it up.
“I’m going out to do some things; you and Erguotou stay home and watch the house.”
The little zombie pouted its tiny mouth, but still obediently nodded.
Seeing this, the little Yingyu immediately flew over as well.
Sui Han put the two cubs back on the toy car, patted each of their heads, and then took Huan Huan out.
The nine-tailed had just been energetic for a while, and after seeing the warm sunlight outside, it yawned and raised its front paw to rub against Sui Han.
“Want to sleep?”
Its front paw stretched over the top of its head and waved at him, as if asking for his opinion.
“Then sleep.”
Sui Han had gotten up early to bathe, his hair half-dry and obscuring his eyes, the sun scattering tepid light above, today’s temperature wasn’t too scorching.
The boy didn’t take a taxi today, but chose to experience the feeling of riding a bus.
The No. 3 bus was a double-decker and air-conditioned. Very few people were on the top floor. After Sui Han swiped his card, he walked upstairs and took a seat in the first row.
He scooped the sticky little fox out of his arms and placed it on the seat beside him.
The little fox perked up, opened one eye, and peeked at Sui Han.
Taking advantage of the boy looking down at his phone, Huan Huan dragged its long tails and slowly snuggled back into Sui Han’s arms.
The tails tickled Sui Han, and he wanted to peel them off again.
The little fox grumbled, its front paws firmly grabbing his waist, its furry body curled into a ball, refusing to get down no matter what.
The fluffy thing was a bit clingy, and Sui Han gently stroked its fur several times.
It felt good.
The little fox comfortably shook its head, burying it in its arms, its big tail wrapping around itself, resembling a basketball spirit.
Sui Han ignored it and flipped through the news on his phone.
He hadn’t been idle since waking up early, but had gone online to search for the word “mask.”
The information he got was—
Mask is a popular brand, specializing in custom-made and tailored suits for artists. They only make suits and have an excellent reputation in the industry.
And at yesterday’s Star Awards ceremony, 28 artists walked the red carpet.
Among them, the blue suit worn by the popular movie emperor Xu Songyan happened to be from Mask.
Xu Songyan’s family background is ordinary, but he is very ambitious. After being admitted to the Imperial Star Kyoto Film Academy, he took on roles from his freshman year.
He became a household name in Imperial Star, a chosen movie emperor, in just four years.
He has won countless awards, envied by others.
Sui Han glanced at Xu Songyan walking the red carpet in the video, his eyebrows slightly furrowed.
The believer from last night was indeed Xu Songyan, but with this person’s background, he didn’t seem like someone who would encounter trouble.
In the video, Xu Songyan was energetic, confident, and unrestrained, a true movie emperor.
And Sui Han’s destination was Century Tower.
Because one of the segments of this year’s VLOG competition was to participate in a pet competition held offline. Xu Songyan was not only the spokesperson for the live streaming platform but also a guest at this year’s pet competition.
Two o’clock this afternoon was the deadline for registration for the pet competition.
And Xu Songyan would also be there to give everyone encouragement and blessings.
However…
Sui Han picked up the cub, snoring softly, and looked at it, falling into thought.
Huan Huan can’t even walk properly; can it reach the top ten of the pet competition?
