Gather Divine Coins and Gacha!
Gather Divine Coins and Gacha! – Chapter 660

A room for me in the mansion…? It feels a bit late for that, but maybe I should ask for more details?

“Are you making it in the south wing?”

The south wing, where Seriana’s room is, has a second floor designated for women only.

There are rooms prepared for women working in the mansion—different from visiting female guests or servants like Teresa and the nursemaid.

People like Zighart have houses built within the mansion grounds, but in my case, it’s probably the former.

…Right?

“Yeah. I’m thinking of renovating Seria’s room and the hallway to make your room. Like this.”

Saying that, Liesel started sketching something quickly on paper.

It was a simple floor plan of the second floor.

The second floor of the south wing has rooms on both sides of the hallway, and Seriana’s room is at the very end of that floor.

The hallway doesn’t reach all the way to the end; it stops at Seriana’s room. The plan is to combine the hallway space and the room across from Seriana’s to create one large room, which will be my room.

Seriana’s room is larger than the others—probably about four times bigger if you include the bedroom.

It’s a big room arranged in an L-shape, combining vertical and horizontal space.

By connecting Seriana’s room with my new room, the L-shape will turn into a large square-shaped area.

Basically, the entire end of the second floor will become a private area for Seriana and me.

Across from Seriana’s room is Teresa’s room. There’s a room left vacant next to it, which I always found a bit odd—but maybe it was kept empty for this purpose?

Unlike Seriana’s room, the other rooms on the second floor don’t have kitchens, baths, or toilets. But if the walls are removed, the renovation shouldn’t be too much work.

Since it’s just before the rainy season, craftsmen will already be coming to inspect the mansion, so it could be taken care of then.

It’ll be quite a spacious room for me, but at least I understand the plan now.

“What does Lady Seria think?”

Honestly, it’s not like I’ve had any issues without a room of my own, so I’m fine either way.

But since I’ve kind of been crashing in Seriana’s room, I’d like to hear her opinion too.

Seriana let out a quiet “Hmm…” and then spoke.

“I think it’s a good idea. You tend to hoard junk in your room, don’t you? It’s starting to get cramped. Just use it as a storage room.”

My belongings stacked up in the 【Hideout】 have really piled up.

There’s still a spare one-room space, so I’ve got room, but if I want to store things neatly, I’d need to get shelves and such.

For the relics and other items I’ve been collecting, I could just put them in wooden boxes and stack them—but I can’t treat my clothes the same way.

Still…

“It’s not junk… but you don’t mind me using it as a storage room?”

Sounds like I’m allowed to use my room as a kind of warehouse, so maybe my lifestyle won’t really change?

That question must have shown on my face, because Seriana, who was looking at me, responded right away.

“Yes. Everything else can stay the same as before.”

With that, Seriana picked up her cup from the table and took a sip of tea.

That seemed to mark the end of her input, and Liesel picked up the conversation.

“Actually, the room across from Seria’s was originally kept empty for you. Seria’s room has been enough until now, but you’ve received so many gifts. Your personal belongings are going to keep increasing, right?”

“That’s true…”

Most of what I own wasn’t something I bought myself.

As Liesel said, they’re mostly gifts… and considering who gave them to me, I can’t just treat them carelessly.

If it were gifts from commoners like merchants, I could give them to the servants if I didn’t use them. But if it’s something from a noble, that wouldn’t go over well.

If something like that were thrown into the mansion’s storage and got chewed up by rats… that’d be a disaster.

Well, I do have the 【Hideout】, so I haven’t run out of space yet…

“Even if it’s your room, you don’t have to change how you live. Just think of it as a shared warehouse with Seria added to your room.”

He laughed as he said that.

He knows I’ve been hoarding a lot in the room, and I’ve at least told him the 【Hideout】 is used as storage, though he doesn’t know the details.

“Yeah… that makes sense. In that case, I’ll take you up on the offer.”

There’s nothing too dangerous in there, but I do have monster materials and all sorts of stuff. Liesel might not want me storing all that in the bedroom, so I’ll accept the suggestion honestly.

I gave a small nod to show I was accepting the proposal.

“The craftsmen will be here for inspections at the beginning of next week. Let’s have them take care of it then. It should be finished within the day. Seria, is that okay?”

“Yes, no problem. Just make sure to tell them it’s in the south wing.”

“Of course. Carlos.”

Liesel called out to Carlos and ordered him to arrange the craftsmen.

That was all decided surprisingly quickly. Is remodeling a room really that simple?
