The first sterile room had no zombies.

The noise she made earlier on the 8th floor, when a zombie hit the door, had attracted two zombies from the 9th and 10th floors’ fire escape. As soon as she opened the fire door, the two zombies lunged at her.

Fortunately, Lin Chu was prepared before opening the door and swiftly dealt with the two zombies, then stored them in her space and descended to the 7th floor.

The 7th floor was also a sterile room, laid out similarly to the 8th floor, and the types of goods were mostly the same, though it stored sterile medical supplies from different brands.

Lin Chu picked up items she hadn’t taken on the 8th floor due to zombie contamination, with the most valuable being the tetanus vaccine.

She had a 100% tetanus-inducing knife in her possession, and with the tetanus vaccine, it would be the perfect tool for both threats and persuasion.

She then moved on to the 6th floor.

This time, there was no strange sound attracting zombies. Lin Chu successfully scavenged the 6th and 5th floors.

Looking up, she saw the central air conditioning system had resumed operation.

Also, the surveillance cameras in the corners of the walls had started working again.

Lin Chu immediately found a blind spot in the surveillance system and hid herself.

The power supply had been cut off long ago, and the entire city’s electricity grid had collapsed. How could there still be power?
