My room.

My very own room.

It’s a spacious room created by combining the room across from Seriana’s and the hallway in between into one.

It’s probably about the same size as the part of the 【Hideout】 that excludes the added areas like the bath, kitchen, and enhancements.

Well, it’s a good thing, no doubt—but we already have the 【Hideout】, after all.

So, as planned, we’ll just use this as a shared closet space for Seriana and me.

The day after the renovations, the shelves I’d pre-ordered through the commercial guild were delivered to the estate. Just moments ago, they were finally brought into the room.

There are four large shelves in total, lined up against the entire left wall of what used to be the hallway section of the room.

They’re not as fancy as the ones in Seriana’s room, but they seem quite useful—for storing clothes, displaying items, and more.

Apparently, they’re even used as displays in higher-end shops.

Much thanks to the servants who carried them here.

…I had intended to help, really, but Seriana caught me and said I’d just get in the way, so I didn’t get the chance.

I’ll make sure to properly thank everyone later with some 【Prayer】 or 【Mira’s Blessing】.

“Madam, the shelves have all been moved in… would you like us to help with the belongings as well?”

One of the servants, having come out from Seriana’s room into mine, asked if they should help move in the luggage too.

My belongings are supposedly stored in Seriana’s bedroom—somewhere the maids wouldn’t normally enter.

They probably wondered how much there was and whether we could really manage on our own, considering the shelf space.

But in reality, everything’s in the 【Hideout】.

We’ll have to transfer the contents into the shelves, but there’s no need to haul anything—they can just be brought out in front of the shelves right away.

“No need. Thank you for your help. The rest we’ll handle ourselves, so you may go now.”

With that, assistance was politely declined.

Seriana, with a gentle smile, addressed the maids.

They seemed a little unsure, but with Seriana being so firm, they had no choice.

After bowing, they all left the room.

“Alright then… let’s get this tidied up quickly.”

A few minutes had passed since the maids left. It didn’t look like they’d be coming back.

Which meant I could now enter the 【Hideout】 without reservation—so Seriana instructed me to bring out our belongings from inside.

“Got it.”

I’d already packed what needed to be moved into boxes and left them by the entrance of the 【Hideout】.

I could pull them out immediately.

Replying to her, I moved into my room and activated the 【Hideout】.

“Alright…”

Activating 【Serpent’s Tail】 and 【Monkey’s Arm】, I made a few trips carrying two boxes at a time.

This was the last batch.

Whenever I had free time, I’d either organize things myself or ask someone to help, but I’d added more stuff recently, so things had quietly piled up again.

I sometimes pass down relics to Fiora, so that helps reduce the load—but things just seem to accumulate again right away…

I really need to be careful not to clutter the estate rooms too much.

With that thought in mind, I stepped out of the 【Hideout】.

As soon as I emerged, I saw Seriana and the others working.

Seriana was taking things out of the boxes, while Elena and Teresa were storing the items on the shelves she passed them.

The three of them had clearly split the roles among themselves.

Yeah… it’s tough for me to join in without disrupting them, so I left it to them—but I do feel a bit guilty.

“That’s the last one?”

Noticing me come out from the 【Hideout】, Seriana took the box and asked if this was the final load.

There were eight boxes in total.

Each was fairly large, and the stack off to the side looked quite imposing.

From the looks of it, the current box contained clothes.

If it’s just clothes, they’re not heavy, and I might be able to help even without using Blessed Items…

“Yeah. That’s the last one.”

I was about to hop off the 【Floating Orb】 to help—

“No need. You go put the empty boxes away.”

Seriana waved her hand dismissively, sending me off to take care of the empties.

Not good… they’re my own belongings, and if I don’t help, I won’t know where anything is later.

I hurried to clean up the boxes so I could rejoin them!

With my room tidied up, we moved to the guest space in Seriana’s room.

Tea was ready, and it was time to relax and chat.

“…Thanks, everyone.”

Elena and Teresa had come back from the kitchen, and I thanked them for helping tidy up the room.

Though, my voice lacked energy.

In the end, I wasn’t allowed to help with the clean-up at all.

I mean, it’s not like I had anything that important to put away, so it’s fine… but still…

“…You wouldn’t have been much help anyway, would you? More importantly, if you have any ideas, speak up.”

Seriana brushed off my complaint and instead pointed to the papers spread out on the table, urging me to contribute.

They showed a floor plan of my still mostly-empty room, and we were discussing what to fill it with.

Feels kind of like working on a dollhouse or something…

If I don’t properly contribute here, there’s a real chance the whole thing will end up shaped by their tastes.

I’ve gotta give it my best shot!
