You Must be Crazy! The Young Educated Youth who went to the Countryside turned out to be a Master of Metaphysics Chapter 44

Chapter 44 Peng Zhigang wants to frame Mu Jingxun and Bai Zirong

Li Changping stared at the candy in his hand. What could he do? He could only accept it.  But speaking of which, this educated youth, Jiang Li, was truly honest. She came to ask for a small favor and then gave him a gift. Wu Meixia also sighed beside him, commenting that Jiang Li was a person who knew how to conduct herself.

If all the educated youths in the production team were like Jiang Li, they wouldn’t be so anti-intellectual youth and would be more willing to accept more educated youths sent from above. After Jiang Li finished talking to the team leader, she went back to pack her backpack and went up the mountain.

This time, Jiang Li went up the mountain, first cultivating for more than an hour, then using her spiritual power to search for game.  Soon, Jiang Li found a large black bear. In the mountains, large black bears are extremely ferocious creatures, even more ferocious than wild boars. If an ordinary person encountered one, they wouldn’t be able to withstand the black bear’s attack. But Jiang Li was different.

Jiang Li formed a talisman in her hand, and the ferocious black bear was instantly restrained. When no one was around, Jiang Li directly used Xuanxue (Taoist) techniques; it was faster and safer. Yesterday, because Mu Jingxun and Bai Ziyong were there, Jiang Li could only use force. However, both her Xuanxue techniques and her own combat prowess were excellent.

Having captured a large black bear, Jiang Li felt very pleased, thinking that she could go to the county town tomorrow.

The bear’s paws and gallbladders were quite valuable.  She still had a wild mountain goat, several wild chickens, and rabbits in her space; selling all these things would probably fetch a lot of money. Jiang Li happily put the black bear into her space and was about to go down the mountain when, unexpectedly, she encountered two wild mountain goats.

Today’s harvest was much richer than usual. Jiang Li also put the mountain goats into her space. Mountain goat meat tasted good, and Jiang Li thought about whether she should bring some back when she went to the county town tomorrow to sell her goods. The mutton could be used for hot pot, or to make mutton dumplings.

Braised mutton, cumin roasted lamb chops… Jiang Li started to salivate just thinking about it.  Well, she decided not to sell this goat meat; she would keep it in her space and eat it slowly.

After finishing her work, Jiang Li went down the mountain. Because she came down early, it was only three or four o’clock when she arrived at the educated youth’s courtyard. Many people hadn’t finished work yet, and Mu Jingxun and Bai Ziyong weren’t there; she didn’t know where they had gone.

When Jiang Li arrived at the educated youth’s courtyard, she saw a sneaky figure emerging from Mu Jingxun and Bai Ziyong’s room.  When Jiang Li looked closely, it was Peng Zhigang! Looking at Peng Zhigang’s appearance, he had clearly done something bad. After coming out of Mu Jingxun and Bai Ziyong’s room, Peng Zhigang quickly ran out of the educated youth’s courtyard.  Worried about being seen by Peng Zhigang, Jiang Li immediately put an invisibility talisman on herself.

Then Peng Zhigang brushed past her. Looking at Peng Zhigang’s fleeing back, Jiang Li felt that this man had definitely done something wrong. As for what Peng Zhigang had done, Jiang Li quickly used her fingers to calculate.

This calculation revealed that Peng Zhigang had actually framed Mu Jingxun and Bai Ziyong. Because Bai Ziyong had caught him and Li Yuehong doing something inappropriate, Peng Zhigang felt that the two were a threat to him, so he devised a way to frame them and get them kicked out of the educated youth’s courtyard.

Peng Zhigang’s scheme was to secretly place several English books in Bai Ziyong and Mu Jingxun’s rooms. In this era, anyone who privately possessed these books would face a very serious situation.

Once successfully reported, they could be sent to labor reform. After figuring out Peng Zhigang’s plan, a cold glint appeared in Jiang Li’s eyes. Peng Zhigang was not only a scumbag but also a bad person. Such a person couldn’t be allowed to continue his antics! Jiang Li decided to use his own methods against him.

She quickly went to Mu Jingxun and Bai Ziyong’s rooms. Their rooms were locked, but Peng Zhigang, she didn’t know where he learned it from, used a wire to open the lock on Mu Jingxun’s door. Jiang Li didn’t know where Peng Zhigang had hidden the books, but she could calculate.

Jiang Li used her fingers to calculate, and soon, she figured out where Peng Zhigang had hidden the books. Peng Zhigang had hidden several English books in a crack in the wall; if Mu Jingxun hadn’t deliberately searched, he wouldn’t have found these two books.

If Peng Zhigang hadn’t bumped into her, who would have thought he would secretly do such a thing to frame others? Jiang Li knew very well that Bai Ziyong and Mu Jingxun had offended Peng Zhigang this time because they had stood up for her.

If Bai Ziyong hadn’t threatened him with Peng Zhigang’s underwear, Peng Zhigang wouldn’t have used the “kill to silence” tactic because he was worried that his affair with Li Yuehong would be discovered.

Jiang Li took the English books and went to Peng Zhigang’s room. Peng Zhigang shared a room with several other male educated youths, and the door was locked. But the lock posed no obstacle to Jiang Li.

Jiang Li waved her hand lightly, and the lock automatically opened. When Jiang Li entered Peng Zhigang’s room, she saw several bedding sets on the kang. Jiang Li didn’t know which one belonged to Peng Zhigang, so she could only use her fingers to calculate. After Jiang Li calculated again, she figured out Peng Zhigang’s bed.

Jiang Li placed the English books under Peng Zhigang’s bedding. To prevent Peng Zhigang from noticing the books, Jiang Li also specially cast a spell; even if Peng Zhigang lifted the bedding, he wouldn’t be able to find the books.

After finishing all this, Jiang Li came out of Peng Zhigang’s room. She locked the door again, and everything seemed as if nothing had happened. Originally, Jiang Li had planned to go to the county town tomorrow to sell the things in her space.

But now Jiang Li had to postpone it and go another time. Because she still had to watch the show. Jiang Li estimated that the inspection team would come to the educated youth’s point tomorrow to search Mu Jingxun and Bai Ziyong’s rooms.

When nothing was found in Bai Ziyong and Mu Jingxun’s rooms, but several English books were found under Peng Zhigang’s bedding, she wondered how wonderful Peng Zhigang’s expression would be.

Thinking about being able to enjoy this great spectacle, Jiang Li’s mood improved. After finishing all this, Jiang Li soon saw Bai Ziyong and Mu Jingxun return.

These two men went into the mountains almost every day, and every time they came back, they brought some firewood. Jiang Li felt that Bai Ziyong and Mu Jingxun’s trips to the mountains were not simply for firewood; they must have other purposes. As for their purpose, Jiang Li wouldn’t investigate.

Everyone has their own secrets, and since Jiang Li considered them her friends, she didn’t intend to uncover their secrets. If she really wanted to know, she only needed to calculate with her fingers to know what these two people were trying to do. “Sister Li,” Bai Ziyong greeted Jiang Li with a smile as soon as he returned.

Jiang Li smiled back, “You’re back?” “Yeah, Sister Li, what are we having for dinner tonight?” Bai Ziyong asked. After Bai Ziyong asked, Mu Jingxun couldn’t help but scold him, “Why do you ask about food as soon as you come back? It’s still a while before dinner.”
