The Laid-Back Life of a Lucky Wife in the 1950s Chapter 22: Healing Power

If not, then how did she cross time and space to come to his side?

How else could the green light from her palm heal wounds?

And how could she conjure things out of thin air?

With such miraculous abilities, how could she be an ordinary person? What kind of divine world did she come from?

Qi Han found himself growing more and more fascinated by her.

Hearing this, Qin Tianru laughed. “If you like, you can call me a little fairy. But I really am just an ordinary person, just like you.”

“It’s just that, as I mentioned earlier, my family’s circumstances are a bit special. My mother had some extraordinary encounters, which led to our family having some unusual experiences.”

Qi Han gazed deeply at her small hand, still glowing green. “Then, this is…?”

If he hadn’t personally experienced rebirth himself, he probably wouldn’t have believed that such incredible things could exist in this world.

But now that he had come back to life after death, it didn’t seem so strange for other miraculous things to happen.

“This is called a supernatural ability. You can think of it as an innate superpower within the human body.”

Qin Tianru honestly explained to Qi Han. Though they still didn’t fully understand the reasons behind rebirth and time travel, it was clear that their fates were now intertwined.

The key to these phenomena must be connected to something between them. So, sooner or later, he would find out about her abilities anyway.

Given that, it was better to lay everything out clearly today. Besides, his foot healing would be beneficial for their journey ahead.

After all, aside from her abilities, she was truly just a delicate woman—she couldn’t carry a grown man like him.

“Superpower? Hmm, I think I get it.”

Qi Han nodded thoughtfully. In his previous life, when his health had deteriorated, he had passed the time by reading folk tales and strange anecdotes.

Suddenly, the green light in Qin Tianru’s palm vanished.

“What’s going on? Did the healing power disappear?”

This unexpected change left both of them stunned.

Qin Tianru was still in a semi-confused state about her newly upgraded ability. She hadn’t fully grasped its characteristics yet and had temporarily named it “healing power” since it could treat injuries.

She had assumed this power would last indefinitely, never expecting it to fade. So, faced with this situation, she was at a loss.

If Qin Tianru was half-confused, Qi Han was completely bewildered, unsure how to respond. He could only tentatively suggest,

“Try again?”

Qin Tianru nodded and placed her hand back on Qi Han’s right calf.

However, one minute passed… then two…

“Still not working.”

Qin Tianru stared at her hand, frowning in thought. Was there some trick to activating this healing power?

After pondering carefully, a sudden realization struck her.

“Blood!”

“?” Qi Han looked at her in confusion.

Qin Tianru explained, “Before I met you, my ability couldn’t heal at all. But the moment my hand touched your blood, this green light suddenly appeared, and then the wound on your leg started healing.”

Qi Han was astonished—could his blood really be that miraculous?

“Then let’s test it.”

With that, he picked up a Swiss knife nearby and made a cut on his own hand without hesitation.

“Ah!”

Qin Tianru gasped, but it was too late to stop him.

Qi Han pressed his bleeding finger directly onto her palm. Immediately, a wisp of green light flickered at the tip of her right hand—like a faint wisp of smoke—before vanishing in an instant.
