Chapter 5
Song Sichen’s eyes darkened, and he was about to take a step forward, but he immediately retracted his leg when he saw Jiang Sui.
Unlike his usual sloppy appearance, Jiang Sui was now free of all the mud on his body.
Her complexion was fair and delicate, and she had a faint scent of tea on her body.
The water dripped down Jiang Sui’s face, into her neck, and then slid down onto her slender collarbone.
Like a lotus just emerging from the water.
The little girl’s hair is no longer greasy as before.
She looked a lot more refreshed, and even her eyes looked brighter than before.
Perhaps the moon was too cold, and when it shone on Jiang Sui, her figure seemed a little thin.
Her waist was so thin that it seemed like it could be broken with one hand, and her slightly trembling eyelashes were like butterfly wings.
Her facial features are surprisingly delicate.
Song Sichen had never had this kind of understanding before.
His eyes were somewhat deep and his face darkened.
It’s a pity that such a beautiful face belongs to the wrong owner.
A person who is beautiful but has no sense of public morality is really not worth mentioning.
Jiang Sui subconsciously covered her chest.
Song Sichen looked at her with an ambiguous look.
Jiang Sui was feeling suspicious.
This man was probably disgusted by her again.
The original owner had done everything for him, and she enjoyed all the blessings alone, but now she is left alone in misery.
“I just took a shower, what are you doing…”
Jiang Sui was about to speak, but stopped herself.
Song Sixen’s intense gaze made her feel helpless.
After all, I am not wearing any underwear now.
Whether in terms of momentum or her daily behavior, she doesn’t have much of an advantage.
Jiang Sui immediately put the towel on the door frame with her coat draped over her arm.
She hurriedly put them on and found a topic: “Didn’t I tell you to get some rest? The temperature is low at night and you are injured, so you should not walk around casually.”
Putting him in the patient’s shoes, she instantly became more natural.
Song Sichen said nothing and walked around her to the toilet.
The corner of Jiang Sui’s mouth twitched for a moment.
She thought this man was going crazy in the middle of the night.
Fortunately, I washed quickly, otherwise he would have caught me.
Jiang Sui turned her head away, looking nonchalant again.
She picked up the comb next to her and began to comb her hair in front of the scattered mirrors on the wall.
Her hair wasn’t very long before, just past her shoulders, but it was shiny black and neat.
Jiang Sui has always paid attention to maintaining her hair under her high-intensity work, unlike her poor colleagues who lose a lot of hair when they comb their hair after washing it.
When she combs her hair while it’s wet, not a single strand of it falls out.
When you come to this place, you can only use soap beans and tea seed powder to wash your hair.
I don’t know if I can still have good hair quality.
Before I finished combing my hair, I heard footsteps behind me. It was Song Sichen who came back.
Jiang Sui turned around, still holding the comb in one hand and pulling her hair with the other.
“Don’t worry, I won’t treat you the same way as before.”
Even if we include the original owner, this should be the first time the two have had a frank conversation.
Jiang Sui still felt that some things needed to be made clear.
Song Sichen was very wary of her.
But now everything will not develop in a too bad direction.
“Just think of what I did to you before as a moment of confusion. I admit that you are indeed good-looking, and I was blinded by lust at the time. I have made you feel uncomfortable all this time.”
Song Sichen had no idea what Jiang Sui was up to, so he snorted coldly and ignored her.
He was about to return to the room when Jiang Sui took a step forward.
Song Sixen instinctively took a step back.
Jiang Sui raised her eyebrows. It seemed that this guy was quite afraid of her?
All the suffering he suffered at the hands of the original owner must have caused him to have a stress reaction.
“You can trust me. After all, I have been treating you harshly, and it has done me no good.”
Jiang Sui’s hair was wet and still dripping with water, and her face was red because she had just taken a shower.
To make it sound more real, she added, “If it gets out, it will damage my reputation.”
Song Sichen looked at her as if he was looking at a rare item.
His thin lips moved, his eyes filled with indescribable disgust.
“You have a reputation, too?”
Jiang Sui: “…”
Good, good, one sword to the throat.
Are you trying to play this trick on her?
To offend her is like kicking cotton.
“Yes, I did some things that hurt you before, but didn’t I try my best to make up for it today?”
“What I mean is that if we get divorced in the future, I will have to get married, and we should both part ways amicably. I will try my best to save the relationship, and I will also have a good reputation when I get married.”
After all, in the original text, Song Sichen had an official partner, and she was not interested in other people’s husbands.
Jiang Sui finished speaking and did not forget to blink.
She had always known that she had beautiful eyes.
Many of her patients have said that her eyes can soothe them when they are nervous.
But this trick didn’t work on Song Sichen.
Song Sichen sneered, and if you listened carefully, there seemed to be a hint of disdain in his words.
“No one wants you for your first marriage, so who wants you for your second marriage?”
No one with a normal mind would like her unless they were forced into a desperate situation.
It was just her trick to make him let down his guard.
She had said this to him many times.
Song Sichen’s belief at the beginning gradually cooled down his hope.
This female hooligan never intended to let him go.
Even when he was hit in the face once, he was still glad in his heart that his face was ruined.
But the injury was not serious, and only a faint scar was left.
She didn’t care about him at all, she just wanted to pester and force him.
Jiang Sui put on her coat and felt that there was no point in saying more to this person.
She turned her head and continued to comb her hair in front of the mirror, and her remaining patience was completely exhausted.
“Yes, no one wanted me for my first marriage, unlike you. Not to mention your second marriage, even your third or fourth marriage will have people vying for you. After all, who made you so beautiful?”
Hearing Jiang Sui’s unique adjective, Song Sixen paused.
His posture was somewhat stiff.
Song Sixen turned his head in disbelief and looked into Jiang Sui’s eyes as she looked in the mirror.
Jiang Sui was not afraid at all and even met his gaze calmly.
“What’s wrong, Miss Song? I praised you for being beautiful, but you’re not happy? I don’t know what I did wrong to make you unhappy. Anyway, if someone praises me for being beautiful, I will thank them from the bottom of my heart.”
Song Sichen’s face couldn’t be any darker, and the night outside was just like this.
Jiang Sui has very straight hair. In the mirror, her facial features are very similar to the original owner, but the original owner is younger.
The little girl has a face full of collagen, which makes her skin moist and clear.
In this era, there is no high-intensity work pressure like surgeons in later generations. After taking a shower, she was radiant.
No wonder some people always think they look beautiful just by washing their hair.
Not to mention that she had never thought about getting married, and saying she wanted to get married again was just a way to comfort Song Sichen.
Even if she really wanted to, there would still be opportunities to reverse her reputation in the future by taking advantage of word of mouth.
