I Heard I Have a Boyfriend
I Heard I Have a Boyfriend chapter 21

Lu Lin came back.

The whole dormitory was pitch black, with the curtains drawn and the lights off. In the darkness, Shi Sheng lay still with his eyes closed, pretending to be asleep, and Lu Lin glanced at him but didn’t expose him.

Then Shi Sheng heard him taking his change of clothes into the bathroom, the sound of the shower spraying water, trickling down. Shi Sheng secretly played with his phone for a while, still not feeling sleepy.

After more than ten minutes, the door opened, and Shi Sheng swiftly put down his phone and shrunk back into the blanket. The sound of slippers squeaked as they passed by the bed, and there was a light collision from the clothes rack on the balcony, followed by the sound of slippers approaching again.

The bed creaked, and Shi Sheng’s ears moved as he felt the refreshing scent of Lu Lin who had just showered, approaching. He sensed him lifting the blanket and lay down, wrapping Shi Sheng in his arms, back against his chest, bringing a slight chill.

“Are you asleep?” Lu Lin asked very softly, as if Shi Sheng was really asleep.

So he remained motionless, deciding to fully commit to pretending to sleep.

Shi Sheng closed his eyes, feeling as if something soft had landed on his cheek in the darkness. Then Lu Lin’s nose gently brushed against his cheek, his lips parted with warm breath, carrying the scent of mint toothpaste.

Shi Sheng froze in place, and Lu Lin gently nibbled on his lips, exploring downwards. Even with his eyes closed, Shi Sheng could feel the malice and scrutiny hidden in Lu Lin’s gaze, as if to verify whether he was truly asleep.

He began to silently repeat “asleep” in his mind, while Lu Lin’s palm, calloused, roamed around. Shi Sheng’s skin trembled slightly due to sensitivity, and even his breathing became somewhat rapid.

Finally, he couldn’t hold back anymore. He made a soft grunt, stretching his body as if waking up.

Instantly, Lu Lin stopped moving and securely held him.

Shi Sheng breathed a sigh of relief, but if he could open his eyes at that moment, he would see the unmistakable wicked smile hidden in Lu Lin’s eyes as he looked at him.

Shi Sheng fell asleep like that, in a daze.

When he woke up, Lu Lin had already gone for training. Shi Sheng rubbed his eyes and yawned, dragging his slippers to the bathroom. As he looked in the mirror, he instantly woke up.

The messy hair that resembled a chicken’s nest wasn’t the focus. Several obvious hickey marks dotted his fair skin on the neck. He pulled open the collar of his pajamas and saw red marks even on his collarbone, as if he could see what Lu Lin had done to him after he had fallen asleep last night.

The breathing in the darkness was long and lingering, and the faint sounds of sucking were particularly ambiguous and secretive in the dead of night.

Shi Sheng looked up and saw a sticky note on the mirror, with a funny face drawn on it and big words next to it: “Serves you right.”

“Lu Lin!” Shi Sheng gritted his teeth in anger.

His phone buzzed, and Red53 sent a message, “Did you sleep well last night?”

“Just get lost.”

Shi Sheng was originally going to the studio to record. He had to cover his neck with concealer borrowed from the female firefighters at the brigade. Seeing their knowing expressions, he wished he could crawl into a hole.

When he arrived at the studio, he was a bit late than expected. Wu Nan er was waiting outside and handed him several bags, each containing four cups of coffee.

“Yan Jie and the others have been waiting for you for a while. Here, take it.”

Wu Nan er felt much relieved when he saw Shi Sheng again. Curiously, Shi Sheng peered inside, thinking about the replacement for Fu Xin they brought in from the neighboring club.

So, this new colleague must be “Xiao Yu Jun.”

“Shi Sheng, come in!” Li Ting beckoned from inside.

“Okay, I’m coming, I bought coffee for you guys!” Shi Sheng thanked Wu Nan er and hurried inside with the coffee, hoping to impress them. He rushed in, caught off guard when someone came out, and with a bang, the coffee spilled all over the floor, filling the air with a strong coffee aroma.

Shi Sheng touched his nose and stepped back, then froze. The person in front of him had a large portion of his white shirt stained by the coffee. Wu Nan er quickly followed, supporting him, “Is everything okay?”

“You must be Shi Sheng,” the person picked up the wet shirt with two fingers, still dripping, and Shi Sheng’s face showed an embarrassed expression, quickly offering a box of tissues to wipe it off.

“No need,” the person stopped his hand, “I recognized you as soon as I heard your voice. I didn’t expect that we would meet for the first time in person, and such a coincidence would happen.”

Shi Sheng looked up bewilderedly, met the person’s gentle appearance, and saw a hint of a smile in his eyes, which made him feel good. Did he mean they had worked together online before?

“You are—”

“Junzi Yu, the Xiao Yu Jun you worked with before. Don’t you remember?”

So he turned out to be the new “Xiao Yu Jun” in the studio. Shi Sheng suddenly realized, looking up and down a few times, Junzi Yu didn’t panic even though his white shirt was splashed with coffee, and he stood there letting him look.

“Sorry, I had an accident recently and hit my head,” Shi Sheng laughed awkwardly, “I didn’t recognize you at first glance.”

“I can’t remember things from years ago… What should we do about your clothes? I’m really sorry. Shall I buy you a new one on the street?”

Junzi Yu’s eyes showed surprise, as if he also heard this term for the first time. Shi Sheng turned to look at Wu Nan er, sending a pleading look for help to defuse the situation.

Wu Nan er was about to speak when Junzi Yu smiled again, “It’s okay, I have spare clothes in my car. You guys clean up here, don’t let Yan Jie and the others find out.”

He winked at Shi Sheng as if they shared a secret. Shi Sheng froze for a moment, then nodded.

Junzi Yu left, and Wu Nan er glanced at his departing figure thoughtfully. Shi Sheng had already brought a mop and started cleaning up the mess on the floor. Now he couldn’t even use the spilled coffee as an excuse for being late.

“What do you think of Junzi Yu?” Wu Nan er asked tentatively.

“He seems like a nice person.”

Relieved, Wu Nan er bent down to help him clean up the broken coffee bags.

Shi Sheng dragged the mop slowly. “What did I cooperate with Junzi Yu on, was it a radio drama?”

“Yes,” Wu Nan er glanced at him deeply, “it was your first radio drama with intimate scenes. At that time, you even said you wanted to cut your scenes and send them to Lu Lin.”

“What?”

Shi Sheng lifted his head abruptly, suddenly remembering that when he woke up in the hospital, Lu Lin seemed to have said something about sending him a segment with intimate scenes and proudly asked how the sound effects were.

So that scene, Lu Lin teased him that he listened to it hard all night long, was it with Xiao Yu Jun?

…Strange.

Shi Sheng silently criticized himself. Why would he send his own intimate scenes to Lu Lin, who was still a crush at the time? Was he expecting this guy to be jealous or have some other reaction?

Lu Lin probably didn’t know that Xiao Yu Jun had joined their studio. Even if he knew, it didn’t seem to matter… As it was just a scene. Shi Sheng thought for a moment and then resumed mopping the floor.

Outside the door, Junzi Yu turned back, looked through the glass at Shi Sheng cleaning up, and smirked.

Indeed, he had the kind of appearance he had imagined, quite cute.
