Chapter 24
Xie Fuyi propped himself up, sitting warily on the bed, glaring at Ye Baixiao. He cursed, “Ye Baixiao, how dare you defy your superiors?”
Ye Baixiao was inspecting the two rows of rosewood racks beside the dragon bed, filled with various torture devices. It was evident what this tyrant indulged in within the bedroom.
At his words, Ye Baixiao arrogantly smirked, “So what if I defy my superiors?”
“You just wait! When the Imperial Guards arrive, I’ll chop off your head!” Xie Fuyi’s chest heaved with anger.
Ye Baixiao found it somewhat amusing. This little emperor was truly foolish; didn’t he know that such threats would only provoke his execution?
“As I said before, I want to see just how resilient Your Majesty’s bones truly are.” Ye Baixiao’s fingers brushed over the items. “These are indeed top-notch torture devices. It’s a pity for Your Majesty’s pampered skin.”
Most of these torture devices were just for show; Xie Fuyi usually only played around with a whip. After all, he had to fulfill his daily quota of malicious tasks.
However, he knew full well the horrors of these devices. For example, with just a little force, the whip could tear open flesh while leaving the skin intact, causing excruciating pain.
And with Ye Baixiao’s strength…
But Xie Fuyi remained resolute—being the key prop in the plot required blocking out pain. Just a bit of physical suffering wouldn’t faze him!
Xie Fuyi regained his composure. His expression turned cold and mocking. “Hah, if you want to kill or torture me, just do it! Stop dilly-dallying like a woman!”
The fact that the little emperor dared to mock him for being slow in actions! Ye Baixiao’s gaze fell on the bright eyes of the emperor without a trace of fear, and his gaze deepened—he indeed was not afraid.
Ye Baixiao couldn’t help but feel that although the little emperor was incompetent and cruel, he still had a bit of backbone.
He glanced at the small patch of skin peeking out from the yellow imperial robe, which looked fair and delicate. With his strength, one whip would probably take half of a life.
Thinking about it, Ye Baixiao inexplicably felt a pang in his heart, feeling uncomfortable.
His gaze turned slightly cold. He was nothing more than a cruel and incompetent tyrant, not worthy of mercy.
It’s just that because the other party wasn’t afraid of these torture devices at all, even if he beat him to death, it would be useless.
Ye Baixiao was persuaded by his own thoughts. His gaze shifted to a jade box on the rosewood rack.
He walked over slowly, reaching out to open it. His body paused for a moment before he picked up what was inside…
Xie Fuyi sensed his movement and felt a tremor in his heart—No, no! The protagonist wouldn’t want to use what’s inside that box, would he?
“Ye Baixiao, what are you hesitating for? Don’t you want to avenge your brother?” Xie Fuyi tried to provoke him.
Ye Baixiao glanced back at him, lips curving slightly. It seemed that instead of physical pain, the other party feared what was inside that box more.
“Why is Your Majesty so nervous? I’m just selecting the appropriate tools for you,” he said, pausing his actions. He had heard that this tyrant had numerous concubines in his harem, so there must be quite a variety of activities in the bedroom. Inside this box were various tools and substances for entertainment.
Ye Baixiao’s eyebrows grew colder, and he casually picked two items and walked over. He noticed Xie Fuyi’s face paling slightly — he was afraid.
Not afraid of physical pain but afraid of these humiliating items?
It made sense; the little emperor often used these items to torment others. Now, being subjected to these items himself, he would probably feel extremely humiliated.
Xie Fuyi’s face turned ashen. “These are all items for women! I am the emperor!”
He tried to use his status to assert dominance, but Ye Baixiao remained unfazed.
“It seems these are items commonly used by Your Majesty,” Ye Baixiao smirked. Holding a delicate porcelain bottle in one hand, he continued, “Instead of using these on others, why not try them yourself?”
“Do you dare!” Besides his imperial status, Xie Fuyi had no other means of intimidation. Even his threatening words sounded shaky. “Stay away from me!”
Xie Fuyi was speechless. He wasn’t actually afraid; these substances would only have ten percent of their potency on him, so he could endure it. However, why was the protagonist using these things? These were usually not used by either the protagonist or the antagonist!
Ye Baixiao held a bottle of medicine in one hand and lifted a gauzy robe adorned with small bells made of golden threads with the other. “Your Majesty has quite a collection of fine things here.”
It was clearly a garment for women, with bells that would jingle with the slightest movement. But it barely counted as clothing, as it covered nothing, yet added a hint of allure.
Ye Baixiao looked at the items in his hand and grinned, “With such fine items, Your Majesty must try them for yourself.”
The little emperor’s eyes reddened, his teeth clenched, appearing on the verge of tears. “Ye Baixiao! How dare you! If you dare to use these women’s items on me, I will chop off your head and exterminate your entire family!”
Seemingly unable to grasp reality, the little emperor was barely able to hold back his tears. Ye Baixiao raised an eyebrow. “Then today, I shall indulge myself.”
As Ye Baixiao approached, Xie Fuyi quickly rolled to the other side of the bed, but Ye Baixiao easily grabbed his ankle and pulled him back.
“Get off!” Xie Fuyi struggled, but he was overpowered by Ye Baixiao. He could only resist as Ye Baixiao forced the substances into his mouth.
“Since Your Majesty is so eagerly inviting me, I shall not be impolite,” Ye Baixiao said coldly, his eyes sharp as ice. With one hand restraining Xie Fuyi and the other holding his face, he fed him the medicine.
The pressure of his grip left red marks on Xie Fuyi’s cheeks, like blooming red plum blossoms in the snow. Paired with his starry, resentful eyes, it was a sight to behold.
Ye Baixiao clicked his tongue. This little emperor’s body was truly the most tempting object to torture. It was only his status as the emperor that protected him. Otherwise, he might have been pinned down on the bed and ravaged long ago.
No, perhaps it was precisely because of his status as the emperor that aroused people’s desire for conquest, to dominate the supreme emperor, to pin him down beneath them…
Ye Baixiao’s eyes deepened, and his throat felt tight. He released Xie Fuyi’s dragon robe, preparing to help him put on the gauzy robe with golden thread bells.
Xie Fuyi resisted with all his might, but Ye Baixiao tore apart his robe mercilessly.
However, the medicine that Xie Fuyi had taken unexpectedly had quite a strong effect even at ten percent potency! He was suffering greatly. Starting out as cannon fodder and ending up in bed with the protagonist? How would the romantic plot with the protagonist develop?
Well, as long as he persisted in being a malicious cannon fodder resisting, being killed by the protagonist in the end would probably count as a successful mission, right?
Xie Fuyi’s body began to heat up, and his consciousness gradually blurred. Just a moment ago, he had resisted Ye Baixiao’s advances, but now his resistance weakened.
…
Inside the hall, the air was filled with the sound of bells mingled with enticing murmurs throughout the night.
Ye Baixiao’s guards outside exchanged knowing glances, their ears reddening.
If anyone else heard the sounds, they would probably think that the little emperor was favoring one of his concubines tonight, causing such a commotion!
But they knew very well that it was their General who had pinned the little emperor to the dragon bed inside. And the enticing sounds were actually emitted by the little emperor himself…
Thinking of the little emperor’s appearance, their expressions became even more
